Office girls can't get their shit straight, communication is very poor. They perform services and charge you without approval even charges your card without approval. Canceled because I can empty a basket and change chlorine tabs without haven to pay over 60 a month. Been through at least 4 pool people in a year. Canceled service with Azure Bright and Clear pools and neighbors did too! Will have to cancel debit card as well, they have zero integrity. read more

We've had Bright and Clear clean our pool for about a year now. We've been moderately happy until recently. No shows and charges for services we didn't receive. No refunds, but they offer discounts on future services? That's not how reputable businesses work. Charging us for filter cleanings, when clearly nothing had been touched was shady. We needed our pool light changed out and my husband decided to go with this company. He said everyone was very nice and they would allow him to help the technician keeping the cost around $400 (395 to be exact). The tech that came out was very nice- very chatty, but my husband enjoyed talking with him. Unfortunately, the light was stuck and the tech said if they couldn't get it out it would cost more for a specialist. The tech left. My husband and son were able to remove the old light with some elbow grease. My husband called and the tech returned within a couple days. Light installed. Yay! Then my husband shares with me that he received an email invoice with a much higher price (around $60 more). Confused, he forwards the original email and quote back to the lady. She tells him it was a TYPO! That he was happy with his service, and that he agreed to that amount prior to the typo... there was no prior amount. The amount he agreed to was their typo! Not to mention, my husband DID the work!! Then she tried to say the light itself cost $400. Apparently, she thinks we're too stupid to find the cost of a pool light. Nice technician. The pool light is fixed. I think we will just pay her non-typo, changed-our-mind after-the-service-price just to be done with them. I just hope that you don't have to. Used this company for 7 years with no complaints. Our regular tech retired and our pool has been green more weeks than not ever since. Gave them a chance to correct the issues and just got excuses - said our prior tech did things for customers that the office wasn't aware of. Huh? Adding shock when you see algae is an "extra"? Strongly suspect they are trying to lose customers as their customer service is atrocious. Oh well, plenty of other pool service companies to explore. read more

Very happy with this service. After buying this house our old pool guy felt this pool was to big for him to handle. We had a little trouble with appts in the beginning but after the first month, everything has been great. Pool looks very good every week. They always keep me informed of things I may need to update or need of repairs, and then follow that up with not only a phone call from the main office, but a email. The office staff has been very friendly and helpful. I am happy with my weekly service and feel their price is very comparable to other pool services that offer FULL service. read more

I called them for a simple repair to my pool pump on a Tuesday. They indicated that they might be able to get to it late in the week. They took all my credit card information and said they would call. They never did. I called a competitor today who was able to come today and they fixed it for $20 less than B&C's quoted rate. read more

First, let me say my review is not related to B&C's service but in their handing off of my account to another service provider. To date, I've had more problems with the condition of my water and I will probably end up moving to another pool service provider. The letter I received from B&C indicated that this company was experienced. I can say the new company does not have a depth of knowledge. I live in NW Peoria and B&C indicated they were handing off their Glendale and North Phoenix accounts while getting NW Peoria accounts. I live in NW Peoria so why was I handed off? Before I found them, I dealt with a myriad of self-employed pool cleaners, one more flaky than the next, who would often disappear without warning, charge me for new equipment I never approved, and careless about maintaining proper chemical levels. Good riddance! Been using Bright and Clear now for close to ten years, and have been extremely satisfied with their professionalism, skill, communication and dependability. Reasonable prices, explains things that needs to be done, calls when cleaner will be delayed. We recently bought a house where the pool has been "neglected" (and that's putting it mildly). The pump ran with no visible suction, we were CONSTANTLY shocking to pool to keep it clear, and don't even get me started on backwashing the filter... We got quotes from 3 other pool care companies to get us up and running again, but only Bright and Clear gave us a straight-forward and honest assessment of our situation, working with us to come up with a plan of attack to prioritize our repairs/remodels on our budget. They have been fantastic through the repair and installation process and, thanks to them, we won't have a mosquito-ridden cess pool in our backyard this summer!!! I was a customer for a few years and the service in the office went to hell and a hand basket over the last year. A very rude office staff. They are never in the office by 9am.But show hours of 9-5 M-F & 9-12 Sat. They charge for phosphate remover which is not needed( researched it online thru swim university and a couple of other sites. Charge for shock which just amazed me. They were highly recommended and was that recommendation total wrong. read more

I have used Bright and Clear Pool care for a year. I received a call two days ago informing me my service on the prior monday would be my last as my tech was ill and could no longer work. I had been previously been told the tech was cutting down to half time. I asked about a different tech coming to service my pool. Was told no one will and another tech would not be hired to cover this service or others. I was not given and prior notice to this cancelation of service. I was given two referrals. One did not work in my area and the other phone number was disconnected. My feeling is that this business practice shows how unprofessional this company is. I would not suggest this company for anyone interested in pool service. Any company that doesn't put their customers best interest at heart is not for me or any other customer. I just started maintenance with them so no updates on that yet but I am happy with their responsiveness and showing up when they say they will. We are new to Scottsdale and new to owning a pool. We are so fortunate to have found Bright & Clear Pool Care. They are professional, have excellent communication with us and are doing a beautiful job with our pool. Since our house was unoccupied for some time, our pool has had little issues related to non-use, but MacKenzie has displayed dogged determination in getting everything functioning properly.
