A quick stop here on a recent Sunday around noon produced a limited crowd at the bar and also at the tables. This must be a bar built awhile ago as no windows are available. The English accented female bartender was very nice and the beers were cold and that's what matters. I then noticed a tiny kitchen and a huge menu spanning all meals. Menu says famous tacos, so here were go. They were double wrapped and full of white meat chicken with some onions I think. Salsa was good and bonus radishes and cucumbers were good surprise. Will try something else again.

Shrimp and bacon quesadilla, delicious!

Calling all my karaoke lovers...this is a fun spot in Phoenix to karaoke! Fun dive bar with two pool tables directly to the left by the bathrooms, a small bar in the middle and plenty of tables and seating to the right to sing laugh at others singing, ha or hang with your friends for some grub and a cocktail. I've been to many karaoke bars so the mic system isn't the best but def better than nothing or not having it at all so I'll deal with it! can get a bit rowdy here so come early for a more chill vibe

We have had nothing but amazing experience here! We often go here every weekend if not every other weekend. We have a large group (8-14 people on average) that meet up with us. I love that they added another pool table in a secluded area as it gives us some room! I have only had their food there once, it was actually really good and fairly priced. I have been in the food and beverage industry for 2.5 years and have nothing but good things to say about Bridgett's. The crowd is a mix of all ages, people and lifestyles. I have never felt unsafe here, as a woman in her 20s that's important to me! The bathroom is small but always seems clean. I wish they would hire someone without bartender experience (AKA ME!!!!) because this place is so awesome I would love to work there. It's rare for a frequent customer to want to work at a bar they enjoy- but i love it there THAT much!!! Thank you bartender Madison (the bestestttt)

Upon arrival I/we were a bit hesitant because the facade is a little rough. But upon entry we're greeted by the friendliest bartender I've/we've encountered in quite some time. Alex is not only efficient, fast and friendly she had wonderful menu suggestions and explained many items that stand out. We ordered the small queso with chips and salsa. Quite good. Potato skins were pretty average. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich with onion rings. Both were great. I ordered the Reuben with fries. EXCELLENT! The bar is quite comfortable. There are many booths, tv's and tables as well. There is also an additional room with tables and OTB and pool tables. The place is much larger than expected. When we arrived there were only a few people in the bar/restaurant (11:30 am) but as we sat they filled up quickly. This is the kind of place that "regulars" haunt and for good reason... It is a hidden gem. This isn't fine dining or a place to be seen. This is a place that is comfy, friendly and serves wonderful food. So put on your jeans and rush over and order a few cocktails and a Reuben! We will DEFINITELY return!

At the risk of sounding insufferable, the food was absolutely mid. Wings were "okay"- no more, no less. Pros: good flavor hot buffalo sauce, great ranch, not overly big and meaty. Cons: not crispy enough for my taste. Especially the flats. Could go much hotter. Crispy buffalo salad: again, mid. Decent chicken, and that's about it. I ended up zhuzhing up the salad at home with blue cheese crumbles and some additional dressing. Why am I paying $18 to make my own salad??? Overall, I won't go out of my way to be back. If I'm meeting a friend for a beer, then sure.

Located on Cave Creek Road, I had passed by this bar several times and was excited to finally try it out. While I parked across the street at the venue where I was for my event prior, I did notice that they had a decent amount of free parking available. Ambiance (4/5): Cactus Tavern is a dive bar with some Arizona flair. Given the name of the bar, I expected some cactus decor. It did not disappoint...including square lights with cactus cut-outs above each table. There are several high top tables as well as seating at the bar. It's not a huge bar, probably fits 50 people or so, and it was about 90% at capacity when I was there. They also have one pool table. Seems like the type of place where regulars come, which is always a plus in my book. Service (4.5/5): Our waitress did a great job taking care of us despite being quite busy. She was friendly, efficient, and made some recommendations when I asked for some. Pro tip: they give you a cash discount, so if you'd like to save a little bit, make sure you bring cash. Drinks (4/5): With it being a dive bar, the options are going to be on a simpler side. They had eight or so beers on tap, so not a large selection, but I ended up going with a WOW Wheat. A few local beers, plus some usual suspects like Coors Light, Dos Equis, Modelo, etc. While the selection didn't blow my socks off, the prices are reasonable. That counts for a lot. Food (4.5/5): According to Yelp, Cactus Tavern is known for their quesabirria tacos. Since quesabirria is one of my favorite Mexican foods, I couldn't say no. I'm glad I didn't. You get three quesabirria tacos (birria meat, cilantro, cheese, and onions), fresh off the griddle, served with a green salsa and consommé. These were hands down some of the best birria tacos I've ever had. They were served right off the grill, the meat was flavorful, and the oozy cheese was delicious. With a side of elote (on the cob), it made for the perfect meal. This is not your typical bar food, y'all. It's a notch or two above. I was pleasantly surprised. And like the drinks, the food prices are affordable too. Pro tip #2: if you're looking for deals beyond the cash discount, they have daily discounts on various items including a burger and a pint, Philly cheesesteak, etc. depending on the day.

Took a while to get our food and drinks, especially refill on the chips. Didn't seem to busy, but was a smaller staff so maybe that was the cause. The queso and Korean street corn were tasty with the chips. Good fish and chips and a standard caesar salad. For me, it was a big hike up to the north side- but totally worth the haul! I grew up in the Midwest, occasionally going to one or two German restaurant/ clubs, so this was not an unfamiliar atmosphere to me. It is definitely a "seasoned" vibe, having immediately taken over the space by a former western bar/beer hall that had been in existence for 50+ years. Their menu says "German and Hungarian" but all I read was German. They have a solid European beer selection, including taps and bottles and some cocktails with a German twist. The one that threw me for a loop (in the best way) was Kriek! So ofc I got a pint. We shared a (fairly large) pretzel to start, which comes with beer cheese. Tasty, but I was genuinely shocked there was no mustard. I ordered the jagerschnitzel (pork) and just overall the meal was as expected as if I was in the Midwest - amazing, delicious, insert chef's kiss. I wish I could have joined the clean plate club. The cucumber salad was flavorful and not too sour/pickley. My friend and I both noted how umami the savory sauce was- not too bacon, not too mushroom. The potatoes were not too salty or under-seasoned. Literally willing to drive up again if/when someone tells me to go. It wasn't horribly busy so it didn't take forever to order and get everything we needed. Our server was super nice and patient. She even gave a bar suggestion that ended up being a nice cherry for the top of the evening.
