Beautifully done bar. It is supposed to be 40s-50s gangster style. Its pretty small but the booths are large so it'd be great for large parties, small ones not so much. The bartender did mention they were working in getting their patio open which will include an area for live music, pool table, and darts. I think once they open that area this will be a much more fun place. We didn't eat as we had eaten earlier, but will check out their food on our next visit and update.

    Deep Fried Deviled Eggs

The deviled eggs are a big hit. The burgers were huge and delicious! The only complaint was that the soda was canned and a bit flat.

With seating both inside and out, there was space, privacy and fun for everyone. Service was quick up at the bar and the space was clean. The bouncers were nice and inviting. At the risk of sounding insufferable, the food was absolutely mid. Wings were "okay"- no more, no less. Pros: good flavor hot buffalo sauce, great ranch, not overly big and meaty. Cons: not crispy enough for my taste. Especially the flats. Could go much hotter. Crispy buffalo salad: again, mid. Decent chicken, and that's about it. I ended up zhuzhing up the salad at home with blue cheese crumbles and some additional dressing. Why am I paying $18 to make my own salad??? Overall, I won't go out of my way to be back. If I'm meeting a friend for a beer, then sure.

Since I was by myself, I was able to be seated at the bar. The vibe here is incredible! It's beautifully decorated and nice and cozy. Perfect for a date night. I must bring my husband back here at some point. As I said, I sat at the bar and Megan the bartender was outstanding! I ordered a drink called Agree to Disagree. I think that was the name. Anyway, it was delicious and because it was happy hour it was half off the regular price of $23. I ordered one oyster and it was fabulous. I only ordered one because I was meeting a group of friends at The Guest House in 30 minutes and I did not want to spoil my appetite. I can't wait to come back here so that I can enjoy the full experience with the band. It's a lovely place and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

We walk in and get sat at the bar instead and get told it's the best they can do as others get sat in the middle. Eventually they got a smaller table for us, but the rest of us had to stand. For a big birthday party today, it was a failed experience. Took ages to get our drinks and it was impossible to get water. Couldn't even get some water for the past 2 hours we were there. The people in the middle tables got ice cold waters, we could barely get two and it was warm. At least the inside was nice, but wow, I would NEVER come back or tell my friends about it. I am ASKING a manager to reach out because this experience was HORRIBLE. Not only were they quick to "judge", but they sure were quick to bring the bill.

There is parking on the street or in the lot. We weren't familiar with the area so it was a bit tricky to find. It is located in the back of a coffee shop. The concept of going through the phone booth is fun. The space inside was quaint and intimate. They have a regular menu and then had a special Valentine's Day menu. I got a nice fruity cocktail that was sweet. I enjoyed it. Everything was reasonably priced. All of our drinks were pretty glittery, it made everything really pretty. My friend got a free glass of prosecco for her birthday which was nice. A good speakeasy to visit. Menu has good variety. Service was great, they ran through the menu with us and was attentive.

Before getting into that I'll talk about the drinks. Pretty good and reasonably priced. Nothing to gimmicky about them and would definitely return to try other options. The bar setting itself was nice! I truly appreciate the speakeasy feel- walking through a mystery door phone booth was a good welcome to this bar. Small on the inside, but had a classy but casual feel. Since we did the murder mystery there was also a preset menu which was cool. The food was okay, but will be returning back for the drinks more than the food. The murder mystery game was a nice way to get everyone in the bar involved. Essential a real like clue or who done it game. Very interesting but also can be a bit distracting if your goal was to come out and have some drinks and peace out at your leisure. While it is a very cool idea, I feel that more customers would be able to come and go on these days and not be turned out because a reservation was not made. All in all, will return on another night to try more drinks

What we ordered: - Serious gourmet shit: their version of an espresso martini, pretty decent! The coconut fat washed bourbon was smooth and cut the alcohol burn down so we could really taste the flavor of the bourbon! - Breakfast club: the strongest tasting drink and not really my jam, but had unique flavors It wasn't too crowded when we went on a Friday night before our dinner reservations elsewhere. Upon arrival I/we were a bit hesitant because the facade is a little rough. But upon entry we're greeted by the friendliest bartender I've/we've encountered in quite some time. Alex is not only efficient, fast and friendly she had wonderful menu suggestions and explained many items that stand out. We ordered the small queso with chips and salsa. Quite good. Potato skins were pretty average. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich with onion rings. Both were great. I ordered the Reuben with fries. EXCELLENT! The bar is quite comfortable. There are many booths, tv's and tables as well. There is also an additional room with tables and OTB and pool tables. The place is much larger than expected. When we arrived there were only a few people in the bar/restaurant (11:30 am) but as we sat they filled up quickly. This is the kind of place that "regulars" haunt and for good reason... It is a hidden gem. This isn't fine dining or a place to be seen. This is a place that is comfy, friendly and serves wonderful food. So put on your jeans and rush over and order a few cocktails and a Reuben! We will DEFINITELY return!
