Came in this afternoon starving and the food was good but my meal came out 20 minutes before my friends and then they brought the check and it almost seemed like they were rushing us out even though they basically forgot the salad. Good food and nice servers but a little disappointed, felt rushed. Just because we're young doesn't mean we're not respectful or responsible. Don't judge a book by its cover! read more

We love this restaurant especially for breakfast. We did eat once for dinner, and it was good. I appreciate the outstanding gluten free options that don't charge extra like many places do. This morning I had gf fresh toast with house made cinnamon honey butter topped with very fresh fruit. The staff is friendly. The customer is always wrong. I went to Brigantine Bistro on May 3rd 2021. My breakfast was awfull. I ordered the bagel & lox platter. The bagel was terrible, like wonder bread. Not a proper bagel, not even a supermarket bagel. The menu said it comes with cream cheese on the side. No cream cheese was on the plate, so I went to the counter and asked for the cream cheese. I was told I had to ask for it, they don't give it without asking. I didn't argue, the printed menu said with cream cheese, a lox platter always has cream cheese. (THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG) So I walked back to the table with my 2 ounce plastic cup of cream cheese. The tomato was nice. The fish was not rotten. The bagel was just crap. I ate half of it, just garbage. So I walked back to the counter (waitress was still nowhere to be seen) and I asked for it to be toasted in hopes that toasting it would make more edible. 1 minute later the half bagel was brought back to me barely toasted and still dreck. Thanks for nothing. I will probably not go there ever again, there are like only 10 places to get cooked food on Brigantine, I guess I will just go to nine of them. Maybe someone else will buy this place next year, bad restaraunts don't last long in Brigantine. read more

Went here for breakfast and it was definitely worth the 20 minute wait. Food was a great mix of traditional breakfast and unique options. My waffle was light not heavy like some places. If my server stayed off her phone in the corner and checked on me without me waving her over I'd give them 5 stars. I was surprised how large it was when you walked in. My wife and I were in AC and looking for something low key with good food. Brigantine Bistro checked all of the boxes. I had the bistro salad, veal stew and bread pudding, it was tasty and filling. Server was friendly and on it. Highly recommended. read more

This place has solid wraps and soup, and their rice pudding was delightful. We ordered the dinner special of chicken and peaches, which was the only low point as it was rather bland and the chicken was rubbery. However, they were otherwise the best meals we had in Brigantine. read more

We stopped for a late breakfast on our way out of town. The restaurant was super clean, the staff was very attentive and friendly and the food was very good and very reasonably priced. This was our first time in Brigantine and if we come back we definitely would check Brigantine Bistro out for lunch or dinner. read more

Excellent restaurant!!!! Food is just amazing and for the price and quality it beats all the neighborhood restaurants. They even got gluten free menu and whatever we ordered from that was exceptional. We went for dinner and loved their food and customer service that we went again for breakfast next day. My husband and I always get breakfast from here whenever we are on the island. They have so many gluten free options. The bread is some of the best I've had. I love the gluten free pancakes. My go to order is an omelet with scrapple, mushrooms, and cheese with gluten free toast. I'm super picky when it comes to meat and their scrapple is amazing. where should I begin...the food was awful and there were flies everywhere. order came out wrong...did I say flies everywhere? guac was tasteless...no flavor, definitely needed more lime and salt within it. they took my plate away while everyone else was eating. overall, very irritated by the whole experience...the place is a glorified taco stand that'll make you never want to go back read more

To start we had a difficult or due to allergies. But boy what we got was not worth the price of admission. We opened the container to find out they forgot to put the burger in the bean burger meal.. it was bread and tomatoes. We called they said they would make a new one we can pick up in 25 minutes (offered to deliver but with toddlers and bedtime not happening.) Sure they didnt charge us but honestly should have refunded us for that. We got home to three toddlers. None of which liked their food but they are toddlers. So some allowance . I had the fettuccine Alfredo. It was really bland and disappointing. Sadly no one enjoyed their meal and it was supposed to be a thank you to our hosts who allowed us to stay at their house. read more
