The staff here are super knowledgeable and transparent. They gave me their diagnostic & looked up the estimate cost within the first 3 minutes. Screen repairs are normally pricey so they warned me & continued to reassure me that it was fine if I needed to think about the price if the repair before I commit. They really go the extra mile for their customers, and I can't think of a time that we had an issue that they could not resolve, even when it was related to our CRM system which they are not responsible for monitoring. They are very friendly and provide excellent customer service and they also have very affordable rates for their industry. Their response time has never been longer than a couple of hours any time we have needed them, and when our internet is down or we have an emergency, they are on it until it is resolved, even if they have to call our CRM company or Comcast and deal with their tech people. I went to this place trying to get my computer diagnosed and repaired in July last year. The person…read moretold me very confidently that it was the issue of the fan, and the only thing needed was to replace it. Also, they promised a date when the fan would be available, and I believed it. However, when the day came, they said they would need another few days. Using the computer was very important to me, so I got annoyed and switched to another place. At the new place, I was told the issue with my computer was because of a completely different reason, and they helped me repair it smoothly. Glad that the delay helped me avoid further loss with this unreliable KY electronics. Unfortunately, although the diagnosis result was a complete error. I was not refunded for the diagnosis fee. Edit: The business owner replied saying that my job was on May 29, 2024, which is completely false. I wasn't even at the Bay Area during that time. Either he intentionally mixed me up with someone else or simply made up the story. Apparently, I have no point of making up a negative review if being satisfied as the customer, but the business owner has full motivation to respond to negative reviews by making up stories when he cannot reasonably dispute it, and it seems he has been doing it for many other reviews as well.

I was genuinely surprised. Beyond the price, the explanation was thorough and easy to follow, and they never made me feel rushed. This is exactly the kind of repair shop you hope to find. Upon arrival, he walked through how he was going to repair my phone and was even willing to take a look at my teenager's completely damaged iPhone 12 to see what he could do (teenagers!!! Grrrr)... Fixing my lens alone would've been 20 minutes, but he needed more time to take a look at my son's phone; so for just an hour, I walked through the shopping plaza, sat down for lunch & tea at the nearby Chinese restaurant, sifted through the Vietnamese grocery store-- it was chill. I came back to find my lens repaired 100%, yay. Unfortunately though, after a good time of troubleshooting all features of my son's phone, he wasn't quite able to bring it back. He gave me a quote for the repair of multiple parts and then suggested I think it over and come back should I decide to move forward. This is one of the reasons small business gets a bad rep. Took my phone on a Monday in and Xavier told me that it should be done by the end of today. Paid full $140 (I was going out of town thursday). Called 4 hrs later before closing and he told me that I would have to pay extra for my finger print scanner to be fixed. Told me it wouldn't be done until Thursday I told him that I didn't need the scanner and he lied to me telling me I couldn't search through my files if it wasn't. Anyone would know the scanner for finger prints doesn't have anything to do with files. So he tells me ok come in Wednesday because he has to get parts. (They don't have parts stocked, I declined the finger reader keep in mind he said by today). When I Arrived Wednesday to get my phone, I came in and my phone wasn't even ready. So one of their other associates (Eric who doesn't work there anymore said that Xavier isn't even a tech and that this place doesn't run properly. Eric then promises me that it would be done by tomorrow before I leave. He tells me again "they don't have the part" he tells me call him in the morning. So I call the next morning an hour before they open and he sounds like he just woke up. I asked about the phone and he said "you can't rush me." I told him he told me to call him and he promised about my phone. He said he'll have it done before 10:30a (flights at 12a). I come in at 1045a and still "no parts." I was pissed off. How long does it take to fix a phone? Other places do it in hours. They told me to come back after my leave. I was angry. Came back following Monday (one week) and Eric quit, and my phone was still in pieces. I asked for my money back, and phone back I was angry and upset. Who takes a whole week for a quick service? Xavier promises me that he will have it fixed. Give him until the end of that day. He made me feel bad saying Eric left and they have all these phones to fix. He said he'll put mine as priority. Instead of the end of the day I gave them until the next because I had a feeling my phone wouldn't be done. ( didn't get a call by end of that day). Next day phone was done but home button was white. They said they didn't have a black one. Was promised to be called when they had in stock and they would do it for free by Gerald. Haven't gotten a call back since and it's been 3 weeks. 1 (should be 0) star bad service and unprofessional. I have been lied to more than enough. Even if they had the black home button I wouldn't go back. Worst place I have ever been to.

I asked if I could be provided a quote via text or email so I could provide the quote to my insurance for approval and they said yes I'll text it to you...I did not receive any text. The next day Jan. 24th I went in person and apparently he remembered my device and said he sent me a text I mentioned I did not receive anything. He took my name and phone number and stated I'll send you a text with the quote in 15 minutes. Yet again I have not received any quote so I'm unable to provide my insurance with it and continue my claim. The repair cost would have been paid out of my pocket and I would have been reimbursed. They would not have to deal with my insurance so I'm not sure why they lied to me twice and didn't want to provide a quote. Oh well taking my business elsewhere.
