The owner, Sterling, is hands-down one of the most knowledgeable and genuine people you'll ever meet in the collecting world. The store is large and there's always new products being brought in. I enjoy stopping by here to browse around. Looking at all the different toys allows me to find something great for all occasions. There is an amazing selection of stuffed animals, plushies, children's books, dolls, trains, board games, electronics, legos, dresses, figurines, and tons of classic toys from the 90's. The people who work here have really good recommendations if you want some direction. The gift wrapping looks great. They add a ribbon as well. The location is the best. And they have an instagram account that shows what drops are coming or what they have in stock. You can also sell your own cards to them - they told me to bring my collection in if I wanted some options/opinions. They have single pokemon cards for as low as 10 cents - it really doesn't get better than that.

Their toys range from toy furnitures, dolls, wooden toys, plushies, mom and dad journal, and so much more. I'd definitely recommend this store if you're strolling around Fashion Island. Something might catch your eye for your little ones! The price can be a bit price-y but it seems like it is a fair deal for the quality of toys they are offering.

Top Canvas also has other locations (Alhambra, Downey, Torrance, and Milpitas in Northern California) that operate as collectible stores and this is the only Top Canvas location that runs as a claw machine arcade. [Parking]: Easy and free parking at The District at Tustin Legacy. [Selection & Price]: Apparently the shop redesigned their claw machines and prize system in recent months. Players can now trade plushies for points and use those points to redeem more desirable prizes. As for trade-in prizes, they have selected signed Funko Pop figures / giant Pokémon plushies / other generic plushies (25%), blind boxes (50%), and graded Pokémon cards / booster packs / other collectibles (25%). Personally it would be better if they had fewer blind boxes as trade-in prizes and focused more on curated Sanrio plushies or unique action figures. [Point system]: For play packs, $10 = 20 tokens, $20 = 42 tokens, $50 = 110 tokens, and $100 = 230 tokens. Claw machines with numbered stickers indicate how many points each plush is worth and most machines indicate 15 points per plush. Blind box trade-in values range from 45 points to 125 points. [Conclusion]: It is nice to have claw machines with a higher win rate than places like Round1 + the ability to trade plushies for better prizes, but I do think their prizes are not as good as places like Round1. Personally I still prefer other claw machine spots like Infinity Claws in Rowland Heights and I also like Top Canvas's collectible stores better than this claw machine-only concept store. P.S. - Players can ask the staff to rearrange plushies in some machines.

I contacted their customer service only 40 hours after purchase and provided my card purchase proof along with a photo of the defect. Instead of receiving actual help, I was told they needed the "actual receipt" which I did not get because it was a keychain. Now they expect me to drive over 40 minutes back to the store to return a defective item, and even then, only if they can find the purchase in their system. Very disappointing customer service and overall experience and the only place that seems to be getting OLD/DEFECTED jellycat.

As an art store, there are already small aisles since the store is filled with displays. The customers that come in and out aren't the kindest people. There's pushing, shoving, and nonexistent boundaries. My only hope is for some sort of expansion so there's less exchanges of germs. As an avid collector, I'm still a fan and still adore this location. My only hint to visitors: park in the building next to Din Tai Fung for the easiest and quickest access to the store!

We came in within 30 days of purchase and spoke to 2 employees (a counter employee and the manager) about the problem requesting an exchange. I did not have the receipt, as it had been discarded after opening, but the manager had me entertain him by searching for a spot with good cell phone reception (providing proof of purchase within 30 days) and after all the time spent re-explaining the problem and finding a place in the mall with good cell phone reception, and logging into my credit card account, was still told there was nothing they could do about it. That is terrible customer service! Why would you waste a Customer's time and effort if you plan on not resolving the situation? I did not intend to pay over $30 for a poorly sewn product and do not recommend doing business with the South Coast Plaza Popmart store.
