Downstairs, a beautifully designed, softly lit decor with Indian infusion. Much larger than expected, we were surprised to learn each person needed to order a main course, as opposed to our typical small plate ensemble, but it worked out well.
My partner chose the salmon tikki (£14.95). The salmon was perfectly cooked, moist and tender, not spicy, but healthy and delicious. I chose the chicken jalfrezy (£13.95). Tender strips of breast chicken meat in a sauce of peppers, onions, tomato, and spices, including curry. It was a spicier dish, totally enjoyable, I'd get it again in a NY minute. The cheese and garlic naan (£3.95) was delicious and large, but included only a single naan, a high price in my opinion.
Our server, Rajal, was attentive, helpful, and made the meal presentation smooth.
