My party of four walked in without a reservation and where quickly seated (and then reseated, because we didn't want a high top). Our server was very attentive, and the ambiance was great. There was probably music in the background, but it wasn't so loud that I couldn't have a conversation with the people at my table. The food was good, everyone was happy with what they got. I was pleased to learn about Survivalist Cider - I had no idea that there was a local cider company so close to me.

Monday is trivia night and gets packed early One of the best whiskey sours ever had Old fashioned is good but basic Corn dip- great flavor, slight spice but really good. Creamy and crunchy Flatbread- good flavor. Sauce is a little sweet Crab Rangoon dip. So good. Very creamy and good crab flavor. Salmon sliders. Huge chunk of salmon. Very tender with a slight crispy crunch outside. Pairs perfect with the thick cut bacon and the pepper flavor of the arugula

I almost always read Yelp reviews. Even with a personal recommendation I'm known to check the consensus on Yelp. Drawn by perfect weather and a charming, shaded patio we headed into Brick & Brew without knowing anything about it. After placing our order, we sat. And sat. It took awhile. "Ehh, should've gone elsewhere," I said to T. But -- as the saying goes -- 'good things come to those who wait.' And lunch was delicious! Everything is prepared-to-order. Their homemade ranch dressing with a hint of dill, is perhaps the best I've had. While my salmon sliders didn't photograph well -- I should've taken off the top bun -- they were great. Prepared a tad more done than requested, the fish was nicely seasoned and topped with pepper bacon, red pepper aioli and a slice of beefsteak tomato. My husband's ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. There was a slathering of bbq sauce on top which possibly would have been better in a ramekin, but T was pleased with things just as they were. Even his hush puppies -- potentially greasy -- were crisp and perfect. His only complaint was the coleslaw which he said lacked even a light dressing. Brick & Brew sells a range of craft beer and wine. The merlot I ordered was rich and delicious; the pour was generous. The staff, even those not waiting on us, were friendly and helpful. While on line for the bathroom -- there are only two singles -- the fellow behind me mentioned that this restaurant is part of a chain. One would never know it!

We found ourselves in need of an early dinner downtown Media and returned to Brick & Brew after a several year hiatus. We are so glad we went back because it was beyond our expectations. First of all, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and then the bartender. We sat at the bar because we were eager to get straight to eating and drinking. Second, the drink menu is extensive and fantastic. We started with a Smokey Rauchbier and a Farmhouse Saison. Both were delicious and local! Next I tried the Ellsworth cocktail with butterfly tea and gin. It was scrumptious! Next we ordered food and loved everything we got. I ordered the shrimp katsu sandwich and it was soooooo good! I had never had anything like it, but the crisp flakey patty was so full of flavor, especially with the chipotle mayo. Yum! Plus the fries were bursting with salty deliciousness. My husband got the friend chicken sandwich and he loved the flavors, texture, and the large portions. Prices were great, the ambiance was a rustic, yet chic, upscale pub, and everything was clean. The decor was almost steampunk. Very cool. The single stall bathrooms were clean and decorated with old-time comics wall paper. Truly a fun and creative ambiance! We look forward to returning to Brick & Brew for future visits. There were so many other menu items we wanted to try...so we'll be back.

The server Julez was great. Upbeat, knowledgeable about the beers and it helped because the light skinned wings they served us were . Do not, I repeat, do NOT order the 'oven fried' wings. Pic below. Julez explained new cook and this is a new item. In my head "as a cook, these light skinned raw looking wings, you would eat?! The Lancaster county milk stout was delicious, the Ahi lettuce wraps were Eh OK and the burger was average. The wraps totaled half a piece of fish. Probably exactly a serving size of weighed out. Nothing special. They could've did it better as a bowl. I've had better food in Media at Spasso (across street) and another place I forget the name that is maybe a block away, pizza place. Come here for game day, beer and people watching. Go elsewhere for food. Even the fries were soggy-ish.

Stopped in for their new happy hour. They have a few drink specials and limited food specials - just wings and pretzels. But they have a reasonably priced menu all around! Drinks: Espresso martini is spot on. The QR code for the beer draft menu isn't easily accessible but you can ask for a printed version. Food: best chicken sandwich ever. Juicy, crispy, tangy with the slaw and spicy mayo. Gnocchi special was also great - homemade, light pillowy gnocchi in a creamy but not overly heavy sauce. I love that they always have rotating specials. Service is really attentive as well.

Tldr: Greasy. After our hike in the area, we grabbed two indoor seats quickly. They have excellent indoor and outdoor seating which is both upscale-feeling and comfortable. Our servers were nice, and the food came out pretty quickly. Pretty nice selection of beer here, but I still felt like our money would have been better spent elsewhere. Fried Pickles: The theme for this review is greasy, which certainly applied to the fried pickles which featured breaded pickle ribbons, accompanied by a garlic chili aioli dip. The ribbons are fun, but they aren't as practical in this application as it seemed like I was mostly just eating greasy breading with interspersed notes of pickle. I think a traditional spear or slice of pickle would have stood up better here. We probably at about half of the dish between us -- would not recommend. Adobo Pork Sandwich: I had really high hopes for this dish as the plating was impeccable. This really looked like a sandwich in a league of its own. It fell short due to two reasons. First, the juices (which would have normally enhanced a dish like this) tasted like grease with chili powder, which soaked into the bread and subsequently diminished every bite. Second, the au jus, was no help as it was more of the same -- made the mistake of dipping my sandwich in the bowl. The mango salsa and feta topping the sandwich was a nice touch, adding a bit of refreshment overall. The fries were also greasy -- ate a little more than half of these before calling it quits. Overall, poor execution, but certainly an interesting menu item to refine. Unfortunately would not recommend in its current condition. Value: 2/5 Quality: 1/5 Quantity: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

We made the mistake of visiting Media when there was some kind of annual race going on. It was really cool to see the community out there running and those cheering the runners on, but that meant all the establishments were full to the gills. We almost left town to find dinner but stopped in here to see if we could snag a table. As luck would have it we were seated right away. Although it was packed full of people we could tell it was a nice restaurant. The decor was well done and looked new. The waitress was running around like crazy but still managed to take our order. There wasn't a lot on the menu we were interested in so we didn't expect much. The beet salad was amazing. We both loved the portions and the vinaigrette was perfect. We also surprisingly enjoyed the pizza (flatbread?) we ordered and ate it all. We asked our waitress about the crowds and she said it's not normally like that, where people just walked in and sat down without being seated. So they were inundated but still did a terrific job. Wow! We were really happy we tried Brick & Brew and would definitely stop in again when we're in the area.

Plenty of paid lot parking the next street over. I believe I paid $4 for 2+ hours on the app or park on the street. We visited this Brick and Brew location a few Times and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and attentive. We never felt rushed My son loved his tenders and fries. I got a side order of fries and loved it. My pizza was so tasty!! Definitely will order again. Hubby had the pork chop special which he loved. Lunch was great and we can't wait to return

A friend recommended this restaurant a few weeks back so when looking for someplace to grab an early dinner in a Saturday, I looked into the closest location to me. About 10 minutes after 5 is when my partner and I arrived. From the outside you can see it was crowded but upon walking in I was pleasantly surprised that the wait would only be 10 to 15 minutes. They use GoSocial to notify you of when your table is ready and you have 5 minutes to claim your table once they send you a message. The front area where the bar and high top tables are located was still crowded but there were a couple of tables in the back area available. We were seated with a food and drink menu. I ordered the Speakeasy cocktail which comes in a tall glass of deliciousness. I also ordered the Adobo Chili Glazed Wings, the Deviled Eggs, the Philly Cheesesteak Flatbread, and the special bourbon flight (I love that it included a glass of water-drink responsibly). Lastly for dessert, I ordered the drop donuts that included a chocolate raspberry dipping sauce. Yum! Needless to say I brought my appetite with me. Our server Ivy was nice and very attentive. We enjoyed our food and service. I look forward to returning and trying other items on the menu.

This restaurant had a very nice atmosphere. The staff were very nice and seated us promptly. I ordered the chipotle chicken wings and was not impressed. The sauce had a grainy like consistency and wasn't very flavorful. The side of fries was great paired with the house made ketchup but they lost points because there was no other choice for side dishes. My husband ordered the octopus and it was delicious! I would probably come to this restaurant again because of the great service and drink selection. read more

I love this place. Even though I would like to go back a day it isn't insanely busy, that is the only close to negative thing I could say. Their wings are the best I have ever had. They fall off the bone. Their foods are so unique yet so delicious they instantly became a restaurant favorite. Must try!!!! read more

Met up with some friends at Brick & Brew on a Thursday night around 7:30. Wasn't terribly busy but still had a decent buzz of people. Can't go wrong with an Alagash White or two. Waitress was very courteous and checked in just enough. Ordered 3 pizzas and some appetizers. The crab dip is AWESOME! It is served in a cast iron to keep it warm. We ran out of bread for the dip but the waitress left it after clearing the table before the pizzas came out. We were wondering why she left it. Out came the pizzas and she suggested using the crust for the rest of the dip, which was great because then we weren't wasting it! Also love the smokey flavor the pizza gets from the oven! This place has a great ambiance. Warm lights, refurbished wood, beer, great people! The prices a little high but it's worth it. The food, people, and restaurant are great! Came on a Monday. Was super excited about the specials. We were greeted by a super nice girl who told us not to look at the specials because they weren't available yet. I said how disappointed I was because we were really looking forward to trying a few things from the specials menu. She said she knew and told us how delicious the things we pointed out were. She apologized and told us the head chef wasn't there yet to approve everything. Then the wait staff proceeded to sit at the table just in front of us and have their team meeting with the chefs, tasting and discussing the specials that I could read about and could see being eaten but couldn't order. REALLY?!?! If you really aren't going to let people order the specials until strictly 5pm then my suggestion would be not to advertise them in your menu at 4:15 pm and then proceed to eat them in front of me while exclaiming how delicious they are. Pretty disappointing...and unprofessional if you ask me. The normal menu is so limited so to see more choices available and then to be told they aren't actually available is just not a great way to do business. read more

Drinks? You're all set. Food? Good luck. Been here multiple times and now refuse to ever go back. Gave them multiple chances and regret every one. Food is consistently bad. Weird menu that tries to perform but consistently fails. The fact that due to COVID we are required to eat food while drinking will not end well here. Go elsewhere. You'll thank me. read more

Good beer and drink selection. Wide selection of bourbons. Tequila selection not so much. Try adding Esplon rather than sauza. Include prices on the menu this isn't NYC. Pizza is the only good food item. Heads up even if you ask for crispy wings or flats... you will not get what you ask for. Wings have a skin consistency of applesauce or ginger dressing with extra mush. read more

Fantastic experience -- I live in Atlanta and it made me want to move to the area just for this restaurant. My food was excellent (the Brussels sprouts and Short Rib pizza), the Sly Fox beer was quickly delivered and cold, and the service was far above what I normally experience. Nearly everything on the menu looked good to me and it was hard to choose. I hope I get to return and try something else. read more

The food is awful and greasy; It's very inconsistent. As if the bad food were not enough to steer you away, the hostesses are very hard on the eyes, nasty, and bitter to the customers. They need to take a course on customer service. Can brick and brew please hire some new hostesses who know how to control their nostril flares and attitudes? When the service gets better and the food gets hotter, brick and brew can earn my dollar. read more

Stopped in with my 9 y/o son while in Media. Sat at the pizza bar which he loved. Very friendly staff. Amazing cheeseburgers. For dessert got "the shake" which was awesome and he can't stop talking about. We were in town a week later and had to go back. Just got appetizers which were both great. Good beer selection. Relaxed and fun atmosphere. We both can't wait to go back! read more

Went in for dinner with a friend from college. She's from out of town so I let her walk down state street and pick wherever she wanted. Brick and Brew caught her eye so we went in and sat at the bar. It's a cute cozy set up with awesome impressive looking food. We got the stuffed pineapple... no clue what it was gonna be it just sounded cool but pretty banging. The drinks are next level. Hugggeee whiskey bar but we went with the pineapple marg and Capone. Highly recommend deff will be back read more

One of the better bar/ restaurants in media. Atmosphere is very nice, the dining room is tight, the bar is a nice size. The beer list is very good. The food is good overall, i feel the pizza is overrated. (If your looking for good pizza go across the street to Larielle). On Thursday thru Sunday expect to be packed in there and wait sone time for a table read more

If you're looking for a good cocktail, this is definitely the place to go. The drinks are creative, tasty, and change somewhat frequently. As for food, they have a difficult time achieving their ideas. I typically find something on the menu that appeals to me but it never tastes as good as I hope it does. The staff could be a little more friendly - In reality you never know what you're going to get when it comes to service there. read more

The food and drinks were really good. I got the Tuscan salad (and added grilled chicken). I am not a huge kale fan, I prefer romaine lettuce, so I wasn't sure I would like it but boy was it good! The dressing was light, not too much, and I loved the pomegranate pearls. I also tried some of my friend's pumpkin martini and oh my gosh was it wonderful!!! I would definitely recommend this place- very nice atmosphere in it as well. read more

My husband, child and I sat for 15 minutes without anyone coming up to us, it wasn't even busy so we were shocked that not even our drink order was taken; let alone a waitress to introduce herself to us. If I could, I would have given 0 stars! absolutely horrible service. Get it together!!! If you're going to have a pricey menu, have the service to back it up!! read more

This was such an incredible experience if I could give this place six stars I would. I went there recently to celebrate the loss of an important person and I was amazed at the exceptional quality of the service and food. first of all I ordered a plain cheese pizza. Never in my life have I experienced such a good pizza. I could tell how fresh and homemade the pizza was. Next, I ordered the cookie dessert. The contents of the cookie dessert was so rich, it was perfect. The quality was so perfect that it didn't even need the ice cream that was placed on top to help aid in its perfection. read more

I walked by this Brick and Brew in attempt to go to another place. I was greeted by the most friendliest staff. I choose to sit at the bar. I didn't know much about the draft beer they had on tap, the bar tender I think his name was Bill, offered a suggestion. He asked me what do I normally drink, Bud draft, he gave me this beer I wish I could remember. It was so delicious. Then I ate. My food was pretty on point. I couldn't finish it so they wrapped it up. That bartender, Bill, made sure and checked on me every moment he could, And that place was busy as hell. Yes, I'll be returning. read more

The food at Brick and Brew is sooo good!! A friend recommended the short rib grilled cheese sandwich to me and I was not disappointed one bit. The menu has tons of options and has something for everyone. The drinks are also so good but overpriced, however, the Speakeasy was by far one of the best drinks I have ever had. Would definitely recommend it despite it being $10. The inside of the restaurant is also really cool and looks especially pretty at night. Overall Brick & Brew is a great place to have a meal or just chill and have drinks. One of the coolest spots in Media for sure! read more

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in media. Every time I was in town the place was packed so I had to give it a try and I am sure glad I did. So far I have been to Brick and Brew 4 times and have not had 1 complaint yet. Food is excellent would recommend the bison burger sliders, and the mussels are some of the best around. I would say the best thing about this place are their specialty drinks. They are worth every penny and the bartenders use fresh ingredients in a old fashioned way it's great! read more

This is my favorite spot in Media. You honestly can not find better drinks! They have a rotating special food menu which drives how often I go. The white bean hummus is always excellent and for drinks I suggest the Moody Blue (spring/summer) or the Ciderhouse Whiskey (fall/winter)! read more

This place is ridiculous. strictly a Drinkers bar. food is awful. i am a vegan and they tried to give me a veggie burger that looked like literal raw meat. this place is awful and only good for the alcohol. food is AWFUL i do NOT recommend. save yourself. and then then the manager proceeded to tell me i was wrong!!! this place is a waste of time. don't come here it is awful and they don't care about how you feel and they don't believe in "the customer is always right" this place is only good for alcohol don't waste your time here. the food sucks. i then substituted my veggie burger for the ramen but without chicken and it was still not good. so i give this place a 2/10. dont waste your time. read more

This is a fun place! Great atmosphere, nice staff and tasty food. Stopped in for a late lunch. We decided on appetizers and drinks. Fried pickles, pretzel pieces and roasted brussel sprouts. All nicely presented. Sprouts served in cast iron pan. Pretzels came with house-made mustard. Fried pickles shaved lengthwise with remoulade for dipping. I hear it's quite busy here on a weekend evening; very popular. On a Saturday afternoon, pleasantly busy. We'll be back - lots more to try! read more

On the exterior, this place has a cool vibe, and while I appreciate what they're going for, I can't shake the feeling that this is a cheap imitation of a much more authentic experience. We started with a beer for me and a signature Whiskey Sour for my companion, both which were fantastic, along with the Stuffed Pineapple which far exceeded both of our expectations. Seriously, try it. For my entree, I had the Short Rib Grilled Cheese, which was really good, but the pickled onions were incredibly overpowering, but was fine once I pulled them off. The fries were limp and soggy, and their "house made ketchup" was closer to steak sauce and definitely wasn't for me. I don't know why places insist on doing this. My guest had the Fried Chicken sandwich, which I didn't try, but they said was good. They also didn't finish their fries. When it was time for dessert, I ordered the Bread Pudding, and they ordered Charlie's Cookie. I was incredibly disappointed when I asked if they served coffee and the server responded "only whiskey". Seriously, get over yourself. The dessert was pretty good, and we were thoroughly stuffed, but I would definitely say the experience declined as the meal went on. That sentiment held true not just for the few as I noticed other small lapses in quality, from the plastic water "glasses" to the torched finish on cheap plywood for shelves. I started to feel more like I was at a theme restaurant at an amusement park than a high-scale speakeasy. That said, the place was packed on a Thursday night, so obviously they're doing something right. Tonight was opening night. The place was packed! The beer was nice and cold. We only had a few apps. Wings and fried pickles. The wings were delicious. They could have been a bit crispier but they were still very nice. The fried pickles were nice and crispy. If I have a complaint it would be that the pickles are sliced too thinly. Thicker pickles would be an improvement. Although we did not have a pizza, others around us did and they were all raving about them. The A/C held up well, only warming up a little when it was really packed. The bar stools were quite comfortable albeit heavy. It is too early to definitively say much but it looks like we have a winner in the craft beer/pub food arena. I can't wait to return. Bigger pickles! Update! We have been back several times and enjoyed all the items we tried. That said, we did have an issue. Minor? Yes but significant enough to to be addressed. My wife ordered a side salad with "million island" dressing on the side. It arrived and she tasted it; it was not to her liking...at all. No big deal, it happens. When she asked for a different dressing we were informed that we would be charged for it. Really? You have a customer that doesn't like a salad dressing and you won't replace it? Damn! Your food costs must be out of this world! (We have owned a Bar/Restaurant) granted the second dressing was only $0.50 but it is the principle. Every time we have been there our check has ranged from $50.00 to $125.00 and you nickel and dime for salad dressing? Poor form, very poor form. read more

Dined here 9/17 with my friend and his GF and they need to make some changes at the Pizza making station. one chap in there thinks he can speak to folks who spend a nice chunk of change for dinner ($250) any way he wants... and another who basically called my friend who I dined with a jerk-O$$. Short guy at the pizza station should not be working there as he dosent have the right temperament to be working around the public. Also should not be speaking to someone with an attitude insinuating as if he was ready to jump over and fight someone over a light hearted conversation about a earlier golf round... the term Dirty Balls was said a few times and the short 5ft 1 pizza guy yelled at my friend like he was a 2 year old. But yet as we sat there earlier the C word was said 4 times and he didnt say anything to the party seated near us, but yet there was a female in our party and thats ok. Shame on this place as i guess their caveat goes come in spend your money and we will insult you. FYI the manager didnt do anything to rectify the situation of the small pizza guy thinking he was the school principal. Since, the Media location has opened only a month ago, we have been there 4 times and have yet to be disappointed! First let me say the ambience is beyond compare to anything in this area. Every time, we walk in I feel like I'm in Village Whiskey down the city with it's cool but understated decor. And just like VW, I don't mind that B&B does not take reservations. The lively atmosphere and chic vibe, makes me feel like I am somewhere that is worth waiting for a table- and believe me it is! The food is a wonderful selection of your favorite comfort foods with a bit more flare. The wings, burger, fried pickles are amazing but I usually end up getting one of their specials which will knock your socks off! No where in this area with the exclusion of Philadelphia and a few Main Line restaurants will you find an all around amazing dining experience with great atmosphere, reliable staff, and out of this world food- beyond impressed. This little pub has potential but is very poorly managed. I ordered an Ahi tuna sandwich and asked SEVERAL times if it was sushi grade and was assured that it was. Well, the tuna was EXTREMELY fibrous. I don't like to send food back but this was inedible. The female manager came over and had to examine it and show it to the chef even though I had 4 fibers visible on my plate. She finally came over and said they were making me a new one. My appetite was gone and I would have preferred something else or to have it removed from the check. Dinner was over, my husband was finished, and along comes another tuna sandwich. No apology, no complimentary drink while I waited for it, not even a return to the table to see if the second one was ok. 2 sandwiches, 3 apps and 3 beers.........95.00 with tip. We could have dined at a fine restaurant and been treated better. This manager knows NOTHING about keeping a customer coming back. When a dinner is ruined, it needs to be removed from the check. Brick and Brew is a great place to unwind, especially if you're a Media resident. The music is always on point. The service is outstanding. The food is consistently unique and delicious. Definitely make sure to check out their weekly specials, because they have a great, seasonal rotation going. If you want a restaurant where you can show off your exceptional beer knowledge and kick back with a dope burger, this is the place to go. The last time I went, the bartender remembered my name and asked me about a project that I had mentioned to her before. Most importantly, the burgers are literally always cooked to perfection. I usually start with the pretzel sticks because they're heated in the pizza oven, which makes them beyond delicious. Finally (as long as you're indulging) you should check out the cocktail list. The tables that are located in the middle of the restaurant are built on trolley tracks, paying homage to the trolley that runs down State Street...brilliant! The drinks were top notch. At first I thought that they were on par to a center city restaurant, but quickly decided they were actually much better. All of our meals were wonderful. I enjoyed the scallops special while my friends had the margarita pizza and the bison sliders. We were all impressed by the quality of the food. Clearly all of the ingredients were fresh! All of the staff that we interacted with were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Brick and Brew Media and can't wait to go back! read more

What a wonderful addition to Media! I started with the award winning whiskey sour. It was easy to see how that won an award! It was amazing. My friend had the watermelon margarita which was also delicious. For an appetizer we split the crab dip and were so pleased with our choice! Our dinner entrees were the Parma pizza and the lobster Mac and cheese. I would highly recommend both. The pizza crust was perfect. The Mac and cheese was served in a skillet and had a wonderful and unique flavor. All of the staff, from the hostess to the bartenders to our server and bus boy were super friendly and accommodating. The owner stopped by our table to welcome us and tell us about the restaurant. The ambiance is just as impressive as the food and drinks are. If you ever stopped in the Plumbstead, you need to see the Brick and Brew - Media. The transformation is unbelievable! read more

Great addition to Media! I have stopped in for drinks and dinner on two occasions. The specialty drinks are a special treat for your taste buds, cocktails with a edge. My friend and I have tried the State St. Social, Pims Cup, The Capone (my favorite: but it has a spicy kick to it, but is so good!), The famous whiskey Sour, and the Marilyn Monroe. The food was just as good as the drinks. Our servers were Jackie and Alicia. They were very friendly and beyond helpful with our menu and drink selections. Combine all this with a primitive/hip environment, it easily gets 5 stars and is worth stopping in. My only suggestion would be, to please place prices on the menu, just to make lives a little easier. read more

Came up to visit friends from Virginia and stopped by for a couple drinks while I waited. I sat at the bar and was served by Jackie. She was great! Helpful, knew the menu, had advice and engaged me as a customer. As a regular bar goer, these are the qualities I enjoy in a bartender. I had a local beer and a signature cocktail, a Jalapeno Margarita. Never had anything like it and would definitely have another! The atmosphere is great and they really cleaned up the place well after all of the old Plumstead was taken away. The restaurant is clean and the management is nice, helpful and checks on their guests regularly. This place is DEFINITELY worth checking out in a up and coming area of Delco. read more

Great Place! Excellent Beer and Bourbon Bar that has featured signature dishes and specials with a Southern Flare. Our friends the Hamilton's took us a few months back to the one in Havertown and we loved it there and could not wait for the Media location to open. The bar has a rustic setting giving you the feeling of a Southern 5 star watering Hole. My husband and I had the crab dip appetizer and an order of beer pretzels that were delicious He had the crab PLT sandwich and I had a margherita pizza both were very tasty. I will definitely be visiting here frequently and Highly recommend you give it a try read more

I went to Brick and Brew Media last night and it was phenomenal! I tried some of the specials. The Flatbread was by far the best I've had. All the ingredients worked perfectly together. I also tries the Mahi Mahi tacos. The fish was cooked just right and the whole dish just worked! To drink I had the award winning whisky sour , it definitely deserves it's name. Aside from the wonderful food. The service was timely and the attentive. I felt as if they were happy to have me there. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. This place is just a perfect addition to an already great town to visit! The food, drink and atmosphere have transformed the classic Plumbstead Inn into a repeatable destination. Thoroughly impressed with the different types of food and drinks that are offered. The staff just seemed to care about being there which is pretty cool for a new place. I actually caught myself just looking around at the creative decor as well. Someone even pointed out a piece of the old Townhouse that they included in their design. Wtf??? The server here asked me to give a five star review in exchange for a beer!!! Am I the only one who thinks this is ridiculous??! Not only has the food been sub par the last few times I've been in but when I try to see if my favorite bartender is there......she is not! And when I ask about her I get no response! I only came back to this pretentious place because of her. Now there is no point!! Me and my wife had a several AMAZING experiences with the girl with the shaved hair, where is she? Once we entered the front door, we were greeted with a smiling face. We had to wait for 15 min or so but we enjoyed a cocktail called speakeasy and one called the Marylin Monroe (both phenomenal). We were Sat at the pizza bar and had a young man named Joe with a great personaity. We shared the fried pickles and prosciutto fries (delish). We have been long time fans of the Havertown location and are so excited to have Brick and Brew here in Media! The restaurant is beautiful, the food is stunning, and the hand crafted cocktails are simply delicious! Great craft beer selection, too! I love their whisky specials!! I love the decor. That industrial farm feel is really comfortable. They have decent pizza's and fun cheese plates. Be aware that weekends can get really crowded so be prepared to wait but it is totally worth it for their drinks. The only complaint is the noise. But with a super popular place its to be expected. I love that they have an outside patio for summer. Definetly a plus in Media! I'd go there again. read more

My girlfriends and I went to Brick and Brew Media on Monday night. What a great spot- the food was fantastic- the service was tops (thanks Sarah) and the ambiance was delightful. Even though the restaurant was really busy- the team made you feel like you were the only table in the restaurant. About a week and a half ago I went for lunch and had the Turkey Burger that was a special that week. It was incredibly delicious and it was so nice for me because I can't have beef and I'm not vegetarian so having another burger option was really wonderful. I'd love to see a turkey burger option become a permanent option on the menu. I can't wait to go back and eat there again. read more

Got takeout tonight from this fabulous establishment. We got the short rib grilled cheese, bison round ups , and the duck sliders. One thing was better than the next. The way the chefs put together ingredients and make it come together is amazing. We can't wait to make our way through the entire menu!!!
