(Was called Isabel's, taken over in May 2025 by the current owners, and changed the name to Brews & Blooms, but the sign on the roadside, as of this date, still says Isabel's)
Pat and I happened upon the perfect cafe in Elizabeth, CO, which is about 55 minutes from the Lowry neighborhood in Denver. It was well worth the trip to enter one of the most welcoming and cozy cafes in the Denver metro area. This family-owned and operated shop is a haven for members of the community to gather for conversation, delicious coffee, and home-made food that you will long to come back for. There is also a wide selection of specialty drinks, Italian sodas, and teas.
Black coffee and a whole milk latte were very good. The coffee is from a Swedish company. The everything bagel with a fried egg, American cheese, and bacon was PERFECT!
The Blooms part of the shop has fresh flowers, single stems, and arrangements. The prices are excellent! There are many unique gifts you won't find at other gift shops if you are looking for something special.
If you want to take a drive from near or far, like Denver, it is a fun trip. You will pass beautiful horse farms and scenery, including rolling hills and expansive views of the Rocky Mountains! You can stop in Polettee Bakery on Hinds St. (James Beard Award Winner) to take home amazing pastries, then go to Hickory House on Parker Road for the perfectly done baby back ribs, stop in Old Town Parker and take a stroll up and down Main Street for some window shopping. If you are feeling really adventurous, you can stop at several places where you can go horseback riding.
Visit Brews & Blooms, ask for Debbi (mom) and Jena (daughter), co-owners. They will take great care of you!
Seating is plentiful both indoors and outdoors, and plenty of parking in the lot in front. read more
