Brewnuts is truly an essential Cleveland business. They have the best donuts around and also have strong ethics and stand for what is right. I love being an Instagram follower, and also all of their theme days. We got the dozen donuts for the Taylor Swift documentary release, and they were ALL delish. Will definitely be returning ASAP. All the employees are so friendly and I love the vibe of the restaurant.

Nice variety of donuts, some classics and some unique choices. Service was fast and efficient. Nice selection of drinks: alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Cute decor, beachy theme (with very liberal signage). Definitely worth a trip if in the area. First time I ever had a beer and donut.

I was extremely excited by the prospect of old fashioned large round donuts (not old fashioned sourdough but old fashioned size) being sold out of a bar near where we were shopping in Ohio City during the Christmas rush that we ran over to get them. Refreshing flavors, a fun atmosphere, and attentive hosts made me sure that the donuts would be spectacular. But...this was a miss for us. The original glaze was good but not great. The flavors were a huge miss and the sugar components for the flavor were not complex. While the donuts were largely flouted as vegan the chemicals used in the sugaring process were very present and the entire batch screamed almond paste as a binder. The size and donut composition were fantastic, but trying to emulate the hostess xmas tree flavor, the mint donut or the three or four other flavors that we tried just fell flat. We'll try again to try and salvage a better review.

I LOVE Brew Nuts. The donuts are never short of amazing and the staff is always friendly and efficient. The location is clean, welcoming, and easy to get to. The owners seem to stay involved in the community and do a lot of event nights. Highly recommend!

Quick coffee/ donut spot that also serves beer. The donuts had unique flavor offerings and the shop was very welcoming. This spot is an awesome place to hangout.

Donuts and one of the owners

Brewnuts is not only an amazing donut shop, it's a wonderful place to find community. They have fantastic donuts, a full bar, and seasonal options that go with every occasion. Plus they tons of events - book swaps, drag bingo, holiday sing a longs. Brewnuts fills your belly and your heart.

Have driven to Cleveland just for these donuts. A staple any trip through the city. This is a place where everyone is welcomed and celebrated. Shoutout to the vegan donut flavors- always so delicious and flavorful. I love this spot for way more than the food they make!

Super friendly staff! The donuts rotate seasonally. It was my first time actually walking inside and it's very cute. A bunch of inclusive decor and a full bar inside.

Early morning coffee and donuts is sometimes a tough sell when your best friend has a dairy allergy, but thankfully Brewnuts has VEGAN DONUTS! Not just like 1 subpar vegan option for people who oops'd into the place, but a nice selection of vegan offerings that rival and sometimes surpass the normal ones! The menu changes weekly, so there's always a good reason to stop in and grab some for the office, family get together or even just a single sweet treat for yourself. Stepping into the door you are transported to a salty seaside hideaway, full of funky semi-nautical decor. Fun colors, but used in tasteful ways and an eye for detail. A perfectly quirky environment for such inventive and exciting donuts to call home! The service is always quick, even going above and beyond to ensure everyone gets what they are there for! Warning: this is not the place to stop the first day of your diet! We got half a dozen, 4 vegan, 2 standard. I'm a grown man and could only finish one (after taking a little taste of each vegan offering). My favorite was the (not vegan lol) garlic Parmesan twist. I'm a sucker for savory pastry and this one delivered! Slightly sweet dough with soft garlic butter and coated with Parmesan cheese. Needless to say, my dairy free partner did not get the chance to try this one, but it did make her jealous! 10/10!

Entrance, tables and chairs, merchandise, leg lamp.

Donuts were good, coffee was amazing! I ordered the Pumpkin pie latte. Nice ambiance, friendly service. Books to read, merchandise to buy, iTunes style jukebox. Christmas story leg lamp. Alcoholic options.

Owners, John and Shelley

The vibes are incredible. The dones and drinks (coffee and more adult options, both) are always on point. But it's the story, mission, and people that always brought me back. Having moved away from Cleveland, I miss having a shop like Brewnuts. Shelley and John are true salt of the earth people who make great donuts and do even better in their community.

All the vibes!

The atmosphere alone is worth a visit! The donuts were delicious and the drink selection was cozy and unique. A great place to chill and hang with your friends or family! The servers were so friendly!

I was craving donuts so badly this evening and was so happy to find Brewnuts still open as most donut places other than Dunkin and Krispy Kreme were all closed. There's free street parking which made it super easy to quickly get in and grab some to go. But the atmosphere inside is really nice, maybe I would stay next time. I can see this being a really nice place to catch up with friends or play some games as they also serve drinks here (cafe and alcoholic). The donuts are huge and have a good chew to them. I like how they have some classic flavors but then also some less traditional ones. We tried the maple bacon donut. And it was good but I wish it leaned more into the savory. It was still mostly very sweet. The maple flavor was strong, and the only bacon flavor was from the actual bacon on top which didn't taste like much because there also wasn't that much bacon.

So, I quickly messaged a good friend on December 30th (afternoon) and we planned to arrive for dinner. DINNER - The style is TAPAS so the food is small plates. Dinner was delicious. My friend and I ordered several dishes to share including sides (mushrooms, broccolini, and eggplant), rice, and 2 meats (sirloin steak and chicken skewers). The flavour was rich enough but not too strong. Pricing is slightly high but the quality is great. It's sad that the investor decided to close down this Japanese restaurant so early. They only opened in July 2025 so after 6 months they are closing. It takes time for a restaurant to see growth in customer base and money. Perhaps they didn't advertise well enough but whatever the case, I'm glad I got to try their food. Customer service was amazing. My friend and I were greeted when we arrived and were checked on throughout the night. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 60/365 total reviews in 2025 - 841 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 31 December 2025

We tried 6 dishes and 2 sashimi dishes and it was a perfect amount of food for 3 people. The food came out extraordinary fast too I was shocked. They were busy but efficient, I was quite impressed. The must haves are the chicken rice bowl, the yellowtail, and the beef cheek. I love the wide variety of food options for vegetarians and meat lovers. I will say, the food still needs some fine tuning. The flash fried octopus had a weird texture and the sauce was way too overpowering. The squash was good but didn't have anything that made it stand out than anything I could've made at home. Excited to come back to keep trying out more flavors!

CLE's best kept secret!…read more A few of my friends raved about Smoke & Mirrors, so I finally checked it out. I stopped in during Stargazers Ball hosted by YoreCraeft Productions. It was a fun cosmic costume party at Smoke & Mirrors. Smoke & Mirrors delivers on their promise, there are mirror accents and intermittent smoke. They also have a lot of silver accents that have a cool juxtaposition with the cave look. You can find this nightclub underground at Clandestina on West 25th. Enter the club by going through mezcalería (Clandestina) and going downstairs. The club calls themselves "subterranean catacomb club." I'd describe it as a nightclub giving off speakeasy vibes with some exposed brick, cave vibes, and sultry red illumination. It's a very mysterious dungeon looking club. It's raw and unusual for the local nightclub scene in the very best of ways. The coolest space in this club is the once upon a time coal room that serves as a little private nook to sip your cocktails. The rest of the club has one dance floor, some comfy seats against the wall, and a small bar. It's very intimate. The club is mostly known for its EDM DJs. Don't expect big names but expect good music. You can find their lineup on their IG @smokeandmirrorscle. They're open on Thursdays for karaoke, and Saturdays for DJ and dancing. The party that I attended had a lot of dancing and good vibes. The club seems to have a cover charge, but the amount is not shared on their socials. The menu consists of cocktails, craft beer, and wine, which is a generous selection for a night club. There were some themed cocktails during my visit ranging from $8-$14. I certainly plan to stop by during a regular weekend night to check out the full experience and DJ's. You should too. If you drop in, stop Clandestina bathroom for a selfie with flattering light. Can't wait for my next visit!

I noticed daily specials at the bottom of the menu, and being Monday, 10" pizzas were BOGO free! (This didn't apply to my 12inch gluten free- bummer!) My friend ordered a vegan pepperoni and was able to take another one home for free! I ordered the figgy piggy pizza. I didn't notice until doing this review and looking up the menu that they didn't put the apples on my pizza =( It tasted OK, nothing amazing, unfortunately. I did really loved the gluten free crust though! I subbed pepperoni instead of the ham and that part was really good. My partner didn't love his chicken wrap. The huge one inch solid chunk of lettuce stalk he found within was off-putting and the flavor just didn't hit. The service was helpful and attentive. We had to get our own waters from the stations near the bar, and had to get lemons from the bartender, but that's just how the place does things There is a lot of seating in this building, mainly large benched tables. There's a hidden cove under the stairs that has board games and a couple arcade games. There is a parking garage SLIDE on the same block that was fun to check out. If you follow the building left or right, there's an opening to walk through and you'll see the slide. You go up 2 floors, there are signs, and you can take the twisted slide down 2 stories. Very cool!
