I'm still thinking about it. I also had the SunSetter Peach Wheat Ale, and it quickly became one of my favorite beers. Such a great, refreshing peach flavor without being overly sweet. We sat at the bar, and the whole atmosphere was so cool and inviting. Great beer, amazing food, and a fun atmosphere -- honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 1/5 Stars -- Absolutely Ridiculous I called ahead about…read morehaving a birthday lunch here and was told they were not taking reservations. Fine. No problem. I was perfectly willing to come in and put our party on the waitlist. I showed up and asked to be added to the list for 6 adults and 1 child. The woman at the front desk immediately told me, with an unnecessarily rude attitude, that they "don't have tables for 7" and that the maximum party size was 6. Fine. I called my friend to make sure everyone was actually coming. One person cancelled, so I came back and asked to be put on the list for 6 people. Apparently, that was also wrong. Now I was told that I had misunderstood everything and that the maximum table size was actually 5 people, not 6. So which is it? 6? 5? 7? Maybe figure out your own seating policy before speaking to customers like they are the problem. I couldn't care less about having to wait or not getting a table. What is completely unacceptable is the rude attitude, contradictory information, and complete lack of basic customer service. This was supposed to be a birthday lunch, and your staff managed to make the experience unpleasant before we even sat down. If you don't want parties larger than five, just say that. If you don't take reservations, fine. If you don't have tables available, also fine. What isn't fine is treating customers like an inconvenience while changing the rules from one conversation to the next. We took our business elsewhere, where apparently basic manners and clear communication are still part of the dining experience. Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant: you can keep the tables. We certainly won't be coming back. 0/10 for hospitality. 1/5 only because yelp doesn't let me give zero.

The staff were really thoughtful and brought water for the dogs, and I was surprised to find that they even have a dog menu at reasonable prices. Such a nice touch for dog owners! Their Happy Hour is also good value. We ordered three dishes and two beers, and it came out to just over $30 per person. The food was actually not bad. They have a great selection of beers from different breweries, so it's a fun spot to try different styles and flavors in one place.

I'm not sure if this location is newer as I don't spend much time in this neighborhood, but I was happy to come across it randomly. The bar area was nice and the service was attentive. We spent awhile here as we were waiting to be order to order off the happy hour menu which is 3-6 every day. There were a ton of things that sounded delicious on the regular menu, but I really wanted to try the vegan tofu bites and I am really glad I waited. This was one of the best things I ate on my 3 day trip to Vancouver, I think I might end up here every future trip just for this reason. I even inquired why it's not on the regular menu since I want to be able to eat it all times of the day. While we waited we sampled many beers. This place has a vibrant atmosphere. It also has a patio that looks inviting in better weather. There were many unique beers, but one that I had which was one of the most unusual beers I have ever had was the carrot cake ale, the orange color was so enticing. My sharing of this to social media has even inquired some of my friends to want to seek it out. They were happy to learn its available in cans. I will certainly give the other location I am more familiar with another go on my next visit, but now I am tempted to check out the Burnaby one as well. This is a good reminder to me to read menus even if I think I know what a place has to offer. This place is so much better than what I recall from the past. Glad I gave it another chance, although my first visit to this location, but I see the Gastown location has an improved menu as well.

As it got busier, the tables felt quite close together--I had to move my chair into the walkway so the person behind me could sit comfortably. Better spacing during peak times would definitely help. On the plus side, I was pleasantly surprised by the beer. They finally had the carrot cake beer on tap, which was great, though they weren't able to accommodate another beer listed on the menu (the chocolate orange stout). Food-wise, I found the cauliflower to be more batter than cauliflower.

They also have the patio open now since it's the summer time! I've been here multiple times and I love how they have rotating beers on tap. I've gotten the truffle fries, popcorn, chicken, and charcuterie board off the Happy Hour menu before. All are solid choices. I've also ordered fish and chips before and it was quite decent as well. Liked that they have long and thin fries. Fish was light and fluffy, not too much batter. Also comes with some fermented cabbage which was actually a great to cleanse the palette when it's feeling a little oily from all the fish. Overall, great spot and would return, especially for a chill afternoon patio day

Definitely different vibe from the Squamish (ski chalet) theme. There is a S facing outdoor (not covered) patio as well, which should probably be pretty decent if one doesn't mind getting a pile of sun to the face. Staff are friendly. Their draft beer selection is maybe 1/3 less than the Squamish location, but that is expected. It is a long drive from Squamish after all. The pizzas here are available all day (they are only available after 1500 at the Squamish location), which is super awesome. I got to try 2 of them. These pizzas are the thin crust (Neopolitan?) type. Longshoreman - grilled chicken and sundried tomato. The basil was fresh and green. Nice blend overall. Brewer's select - basically a meat lover's type. Peperoni, bacon, and chorizo. They were pretty generous with the toppings. A bit on the salty side, but every meat lover's is like this. Tasty. Lastly, the poutine was pretty decent. Fries were nice and crisp, and there was just the right amount of cheese curds and gravy. In other words, not dry but also not soggy. My friends and I left stuffed and happy. Another special special mention is that this place is open late all 7 days (most things around here close at 2100 or earlier), which is worth a special mention. Recommended.
