Cheers! Sunny day calls for happy hour drinks
    Alisha W.

Super chilled vibes here in the Steveston village. A cozy place to grab a bite or to enjoy drinks, especially after shopping/walking along Fisherman's Wharf. Great service - I appreciate that their servers are friendly and knowledgeable about their breweries ales. I enjoy sampling their various beers in the summertime. And for the January/February winter months, I would recommend trying out their Dine Out Vancouver DOV menu for lunch or dinner. Reasonably priced and in addition to comforting meats and carbs, they offer a vegetarian menu too. I would also recommend their weekend brunch for enjoying a lazy morning; or their happy hour for sharing their beer flight, which you may choose your own ales to sample. IMO, all pairs well with their popcorn and charcuterie board during happy hour. This place feels relaxing and I'd def visit more often for coffee and burgers if I lived in the area. When you visit Steveston area, stop by to dine in and hope you enjoy a good time. I finish this 5 star review with a happy note to encourage all to eat, drink and be merry in 2024 :)

Came here for brunch. Excellent farm to table restaurant with locally sourced food items. Definitely well priced, it has a busy fun atmosphere, good attentive service and ambiance. Loved the experience will be back for dinner next time I'm in town.

I confess, we only came here for the beer but that was great! I had the Blonde Ale, very good and husband had the Oatmeal Stout which was really tasty! Looked like a lot of great food being served around us but I can't personally attest to that. Our server was great! Friendly and attentive enough to care of us without being a bother. We actually moved ourselves outside after we were served because it was such a nice day... no problem with that! Great outside area in a great spot

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here in November after touring the historic Gulf of Georgia Cannery. It was a drizzly day so it was nice to eat inside with a great view of downtown Steveston. Such a cool vibe! Would have loved to walk around more if it wasn't raining. Great service here. We enjoyed our beers and delicious clam chowder and fish and chips. Possibly the best clam chowder I have ever had. Would definitely go back! East to get to on the public transit bus from Richmond.

Good times. Good food and great service. Britannia Brewing, centrally located in Fisherman's Wharf, has a large terraced patio and bright interior. Had the grass fed burger-delish. Partner had the charcuterie. Very good ingredients. Had a flight of beer. Decent and standard. Highly recommend it.

B and I was thinking of checking out a craft brewery after dinner. We looked on Yelp and found Britannia Brewing. When we walked in, we were surprised. The place looked like a full restaurant. It is not a mainstream brewery. We ended up getting some drinks here. The beer here was ok to good. We got the following: Deckhand Draught Chai Saison Rye Porter Sea Hound Stout The beer doesn't have a strong barfy/alcoholic hop flavor. I didn't like the Chai Saison too much. It was quite strange tasting but I am sure there are people who likes it. Service was good here. We didn't get food here but looking at their menu, food looks delicious and definitely need to come back again.

I don't drink beer so I have always walked past this place but never stepped in. I have been curious about the place but somehow I always thought it is like an evening or dinner place when happy hours start. I am so glad I get to try this place due to Dine Out. We came here for lunch and had the Dine Out menu. My friend loved the clam chowder which had bacon in it. Yums. The mushroom risotto was also delicious. I had the wild halibut ravioli which was not bad. I was taken aback by the tartness which probably came from the sauce. The pickled kohlrabi was crunchy and refreshing. I liked the crab and chili spaghettini. The pasta was al dente and the amount of spice and crabmeat was just right. A very good dish. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for. One of the best I had. Not overly sugary sweet and the softness was a mouthful of pillowy goodness. Perfect with unsweetened hot tea. I saw the happy hour menu and was intrigued with the truffle and Parmesan popcorn. I need to come back again to try that plus the brunch dishes too. They looked good. No opinion on the beer as I did not order any but I think it must be good too.

Britannia Brewing Co is one true gem in the popular Steveston Village area of Richmond. For more on Steveston Village please see my review & a boatload of pics - highly recommend & a must see! While your at it check out my review of Garry Point Park - all are connected to the Steveston area. I've been hearing great things about Britannia Brewing Co - even about it being likened to the pub in the TV show - Cheers, you know - 'where everybody knows your name.' Freshly opened in 2016 the concept is straight forward - craft beer & delicious food! It exudes friendliness & ease - a local hangout where one just chills out & escapes from the craziness of life ... especially these days! Very modern simple decor making one feel at ease immediately! The food is outstanding & very flavourful! The Mushroom Toast & Brewers Breaky were just what the doctor ordered! Fresh, hearty, tasty & filling! Yum!!! Locals love it so why not pop in when you're next in the village!

Popped over here last weekend with my dad and my boyfriend. My stout was delicious and the Rip Tide IPA has become one of our favourites. Their beer menu seems even more expansive than when we came in the summer during the "early stages" of COVID. Selection = awesome. They also have a great looking menu and I want to eat brunch here ASAP! We got the truffle parmesan popcorn and it did NOT disappoint. It's served in a bamboo steaming dim sum basket so the portion is generous! If you're just peckish, get this. It's too good to resist. The space feels so cozy and maybe nautical (or I've just got Steveston being the land of the OG Fishermen from BC in my head). Definitely would hang out here more if I lived closer.

Came here for lunch while visiting Fisherman's Wharf and it was pretty empty, and we got seated outside. Their menu didn't have too many varieties so I ended up getting their chicken burger. The burger was decent, and chicken wasn't dry which was great. Service was also fast and friendly!

I have lived near Steveston my entire life and I can't believe I just found out about this restaurant! I have now been here multiple times and they never fail to impress me. Their food is made with so much care and the flavour in everything is absolutely amazing. Their buttermilk fried chicken was soo crispy and tender - the meat was not dry at all. Their house made hummus was nice and hearty. Beats any other hummus I've ever tried. There is also beautiful outdoor seating and a splendid place to catch up or hang out with friends!

Nice happenin' craft place in Steveston Village. Parking is plentiful in the side streets. The venue is very nice, with large patio facing the dock area and sea. There is also a large patio that faces S. The inside is modern, with plenty of wood and glass. Besides the craft beer, there is also a kitchen that serves typical pub food but with a bit of that local hipster touch. I also tried some of their flourless (gluten free?) chocolate cake. Actually quite tasty. My only wish is that the place was a bit bigger, as it was pretty packed inside. But I would definitely go back next time I'm in the area. Recommended.

Great spot. Local brewery. Heart of Steveston across from the wharf. Solid beer list. Great food. Nautical vibe with communal feels.

After driving around for a bit, I finally found some folks ready to leave their parking spot and I nabbed it along with the only seat left in a place which was at their small little bar. I tried two flights, eight different beers. I found them all to be good with a couple of them, the Helles Lager and the Dark Czech Lager, that were exceptional (and I'm typically not a lager aficionado). They have a limited menu and I had the gobbler sandwich with a side of potato salad. Sandwich was fresh and quite good, but the standout was the pickles, which were amazing! I also ordered a side of pickle spears because they were that good. They said that someone locally makes the pickles. Service is good, staff was friendly. This place just has a laid-back vibe to it, very comfortable.

I had the Gary Point Sunset which has a choice of 1800 coconut or cazadores tequila. I requested for cazadores as I don't like coconut flavored cocktail much.
