We were in Richmond so after eating lunch, we decided to hit up a few breweries. Britannia Brewing was first up; it's located in a small, random warehouse area. It's mainly for filling up growlers but they did have a few cans available too. Their main location is in Steveston. We dropped in on a Monday afternoon (around 2:30pm). It's small but they let you do a tasting. They had three flavours on tap (watermelon sour, pale ale and chai saison). Growler refills are $10.00 (for 2L). - Sea maiden watermelon sour - this was our favourite of the three options. Summery, refreshing; it reminded us of watermelon jolly ranchers! We ended up grabbing a four pack ($13.50) for home. Solid spot albeit with a small, limited selection of beers.

We finally had time without the kid, and wanted to venture out for a nice brunch, hopefully take a walk by the dyke if weather allows. The restaurant was busy but not over crowded. Got a seat right the way. Originally was hoping to get the crab cake Benny but it was not available. So I ordered the salmon sandwich instead. It was perfect size, nice and delicate. Love the fries capers, on my salmon sandwich. I never ate capers but this was a super nice touch. The pickled zucchini was really good too. I loveee the Ceasar with blond ale, the spices were spot on. Perfect for a brunch! We also order the clam chowder to share which I forgot to take a picture. That was delicious, creamy and fresh. Will definitely come again to try more items on the menu.

We walked around in Steveston in the late afternoon. We realized that this location used to be an Italian restaurant. Now it becomes a beer restaurant. We went into this beer restaurant. Their interior design in the restaurant and even the men and women bathrooms was extraordinarily well done! Craft beer places in Vancouver or in Lower Mainland don't usually have such a great interior design. I talked to the owner of this beer restaurant. Their wood furniture was made by him and his friend themselves. His friend's wife did a great job on the interior design. The usage of wood, tiles, furniture and etc. match very well that the ambience is very comfortable and match the Steveston environment. We ordered two flights of eight samples of beer. All of them tasted excellent. We couldn't see a brewery at the same location. Probably the craft beer was made at somewhere else and delivered to the restaurant in Steveston. We quite enjoyed drinking beer here, looking at the environment outside the restaurant and admiring the great interior design. The customer service was excellent. Servers would check on our needs once in a while. They were friendly and quite responsible that they always make sure customers are satisfied with our food and drink or even their service. As the beer restaurant is located at Steveston, the pricing of each flight of beer was $10. It was a bit pricy comparing to ones in Lower Mainland. However, it was worthwhile to pay $10 here that we could enjoy so many great things that we have listed above.

I have been here both for brunch and dinner. Great location! You can go for a nice walk after. Friendly staff and great food. Very clean inside. Today I came for brunch, the portions are smaller especially for the price. But the good thing is you don't feel to over stuffed.

I was there after biking to Steveston on the Canada Day long weekend. Food: Nothing on the menu stood out to me. We had the salmon chowder bowl and fish and chips. The food was good. The sour bread that came with the soup was very sour but absorbed the soup nicely. The fries in the fish and chips were good as well. The batter was very thick on the fish. I had the Okanagan Apples drink with rum and the rum completely overtook the drink. However, my friend had it with bombay and the flavour of the apples was able to shine through. Service: The service was good but nothing outstanding! The server was friendly. Space: The space is lovely and has very nice decor. It was small but still was big enough to accommodate our group of 9. Extras: They have a lovely patio! Cost: I don't feel comfortable saying that the price was reasonable for the quality of the food. It was a bit much for the quality of the food. However, the drinks were very reasonably priced and my friends loved their beers and ciders. Overall, nothing was especially impressive about this brewery. It was a nice place to try but I think there are other food options in the area I might prefer.

    Veggie burger

If you love veggie burgers this place is worth making a special trip for, it's the best I've ever had. Instead of trying to mimic beef they fry quinoa, finely chopped vegetables, (and maybe pesto?) into a super delicious crispy patty. It's definitely worth ordering even if you're not a vegetarian at all. I was sad when I finished eating it because I wished I could have two. I also ordered a chai beer which was also really good.

Salmon poke. Nori with sashimi grade salmon cubes with avocado, cucumber, sweet pepper and sesame.

I love good, local craft beer. I made my way out to Steveston on public transit on a Sunday afternoon. Restaurant is across the street from Shady Island. Nice, bright patio. Full menu. I came for the beer though. I had a flight. All were excellent. The standout for me was the chai ale. Very nice. The server was superb, making sure I didn't feel neglected as a solo diner and he was very familiar with the menu. I ended up ordering s salmon poke, which was a nice accompaniment to my refreshing beer. I'll return. Well worth the trip to Steveston.

    Really loved the craft beer

Best pulled pork sandwich i have ever had, fresh bun was incredible. Potato wedges were awesome. Craft beer was very nice, love the atmosphere and bar. Very comfy feel to the whole place. Service was good and friendly.

Finally ! exactly what Steveston needed!!!! Britannia is a beautiful spot, well designed and a great patio. The staff where very friendly and knowledgable about their beer and the guest taps that where on that day. I ordered the Adrift Blonde, and a burger (it was huge) that came with shoe string fries. Prices I thought where very reasonable (especially compared to other restaurants in the area) I would definitely recommend this place to either compliment a day trip to Steveston or for locals looking for a fun new plane to hang out.

Great service, beautiful spot, relax atmosphere. Absolutely love the Blonde beer!!!! Had the flight (4sample beer) and it was $10, reasonable price

After driving around for a bit, I finally found some folks ready to leave their parking spot and I nabbed it along with the only seat left in a place which was at their small little bar. I tried two flights, eight different beers. I found them all to be good with a couple of them, the Helles Lager and the Dark Czech Lager, that were exceptional (and I'm typically not a lager aficionado). They have a limited menu and I had the gobbler sandwich with a side of potato salad. Sandwich was fresh and quite good, but the standout was the pickles, which were amazing! I also ordered a side of pickle spears because they were that good. They said that someone locally makes the pickles. Service is good, staff was friendly. This place just has a laid-back vibe to it, very comfortable.

I had the Gary Point Sunset which has a choice of 1800 coconut or cazadores tequila. I requested for cazadores as I don't like coconut flavored cocktail much. It's a fruity cocktail and still tasted slightly of coconut. So I'm not sure if the staff forgot and added the coconut tequila instead. It's interesting that they also do a tequila flight here. You get to try 4 different tequila (cazadores, 1800 coconut, casamigos and hornitos black barrel). My friend had the five roads lemonade which came in a can. It was too sour for his liking. Stick with the craft beer and you will probably like this place more. Food is also served here. The choices are quite varied with butter chicken bowl, mr cooper's pies, tacos, pizza, panini and other finger food.

The business actually faces inwards, towards a courtyard / parking lot. Parking is available in the lot. The bar has some seats, as well as a few tables. There is an outdoor patio as well. Staff were friendly and chatty. This venue is actually a satellite location for 5 Roads, which is in Langley near Willowbrook Mall. No beer is actually produced here. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind. The flights here are pretty tasty. The selection covers the entire spectrum (light to dark), and they even have non alcoholic stuff like lemonade. Overall a great place to pop by and chat. Nice to see that there's an additional option besides Britannia in the vicinity.

I've gotten the truffle fries, popcorn, chicken, and charcuterie board off the Happy Hour menu before. All are solid choices. I've also ordered fish and chips before and it was quite decent as well. Liked that they have long and thin fries. Fish was light and fluffy, not too much batter. Also comes with some fermented cabbage which was actually a great to cleanse the palette when it's feeling a little oily from all the fish. Overall, great spot and would return, especially for a chill afternoon patio day
