My wife and I decided to try the pub, so the three of us went for lunch. My dog was in a down stay under the table when our waitress greeted us and gave us menus. She then went into the kitchen. When she came out she, embarrassingly, told us that my dog was not welcomed there. I told her that is a service dog that helps me with my PTSD. The waitress went back into the kitchen, then returned telling me the owner didn't care, and that the dog had to leave. I left and went home and filed complaints with both the US Department of Justice, and the Americans with Disabilities organization. I'm getting ready to call them both and see where we are at. Once charges are filed against them, I'll do a follow up and let everyone know. This business tries to act like it is veteran friendly, but this owner proved the she is not.

The bar manager was incredibly friendly and helpful. I asked her for area recommendations and she went so far as to pull out a magazine and circle her recommendations (including notes like "great pizza" and "go here then stop over there"). GOTL has a PERFECT view that so many spots nearby don't offer. They should advertise on the view alone. We got beers and sat on their patio directly on the lake. The house beers are great and they also have food options. The servers were nice and so kind knowing that we were only there to see the sunset and grab a quick drink. I cannot emphasize enough that this is the place to be to see the sunset on the lake.
