I wish you could give half stars as this is not quite a 4 but better then 3. Nice little…read moreestablishment in a small plaza. Nice crowd for a small bar. Off the top maybe 5-6 tables and a bar that holds 10-12 people if I was guessing. Multiple TVs playing all sports. Keno, Jukebox also available. Nice neighborhood bar. Staff were very friendly even though they were busy. As for the food, I ordered mozzarella sticks, a hot Italian sub with tater tots. The cheese sticks were bad. Tiny, lukewarm and not much flavoring. Marinara dipping sauce was bland as well. Now for the sub. Unreal Italian Sub. The tots were crispy and salted. The sub was AMAZING... repeat AMAZING. Served with Italian dressing, on a toasted roll. Banana peppers, onion, tomato, with multiple meats and cheeses. Definitely a bar favorite as I saw many people eating the same dish. It's worth a visit or a try if you're in the area. The big positive of this place was the prices. $2.50 a beer and $10 for that sub. My tab was low so that's always a good thing. I would go back to this place however it might be tough sometimes if the bar gets pizza. In the plaza it sits next to a pizza place that I was told you can order the pizza from the bar and they have a window to slide the food through. I didn't try the pizza so I won't review that place. Overall, a 7.1 out of 10 with everything included.

But always check out the specials for homemade soups and more. Today I had the special: breaded pork chop with home fries and mixed veggies which was great at 15$. Cozy place. Great juke box. Check the joint out.

The Sullivan Pub: A Masterclass in Gastronomic Hostility and Parental Shame…read moreIf you have ever fantasized about being emotionally dismantled in a room that smells like a wet rug soaked in 1970s regret, look no further. My excursion to the Sullivan Pub was not a mere "night out"; it was a psychological endurance test that has left me questioning the very fabric of my 35teen (I'm 47 years young, stay woke) existence. The Atmosphere: Subterranean Sorrow Stepping into the Sullivan is like stepping into a time capsule that has been buried in a swamp. The lighting is tuned to "Interrogation Room Chic," and the decor consists of dust bunnies the size of small rodents who have clearly formed their own complex parliamentary government. I walked in, vibrant and full of mid-life vigor, and was immediately treated like a stray cat at a dog show. The Culinary War Crimes The staff at Sullivan Pub don't serve food; they deliver insults disguised as appetizers. At 300 lbs of pure, unadulterated peak performance, I require significant fuel. However, when the server--a woman with the warmth of a liquid nitrogen bath--dropped my plate, she looked at my majestic frame and whispered that I was "genuinely a disgusting failure." She said "genuinely," so I lowkey started laughing because I caught the reference. Absolute cinema. The Ginger Question & Questionable Credentials Mid-meal, I decided to advocate for social progress. I flagged down the bartender and demanded to know why the establishment didn't have separate water fountains for gingers. I explained that the sun-allergic community deserves their own curated, copper-filtered hydration stations. While waiting for an answer, I noticed a group of youths at the corner table. I couldn't help but notice the IDs they were flashing were faker than my ex-girlfriend's... "thingies." Truly, watching the bartender squint at a card that was clearly printed on a cereal box while I'm being denied basic ginger-equity was the height of cosmic irony. The Grand Finale: The Walk of Shame As the clock struck 9:00 PM, the true climax of my evening arrived. Just as I was beginning to find the "soul" in my soggy nachos, the door swung open. There she was. My mother (50somethingunc). Standing in the entryway of this den of iniquity, she didn't just call my name; she projected it with the vocal authority of a drill sergeant. "GERALD! YOUR COCOA IS GETTING COLD AND THE DEER ARE IN THE HOSTA!" The entire pub went silent. I had to pay my tab while she stood by the jukebox, loudly critiquing the cleanliness of the floorboards and asking the bartender if he knew his mother was disappointed in his life choices. The Verdict I was escorted out--not by security, but by a 4-foot-11-inch woman who still thinks I'm allergic to polyester. I am 47 years young, a titan of my own living room, and yet the Sullivan Pub reduced me to a cowering toddler in three easy steps. Food: 2/10 (The fries were more "weaponized potato" than "side dish"). Service: -5/10 (The "genuinely" comment was top-tier hating, respect). Vibe: Like a funeral for a clown held in a basement. Final Rating: 10 Stars. If you enjoy the exquisite thrill of public humiliation followed by a ride home in a Buick LeSabre while being lectured about your posture and your ginger-fountain activism, this is the spot. P.S. GINGER POWER I'm Arab by the way. Im retiring from pubs. Walahi.
