Had lunch with our daughter. She had the French Onion Soup, loaded with onions, crusty bread and lots of cheese. I had the steak salad which was huge and delishess. NOTE! Warren's uses local lettuce from Great Lakes Growers not that problematic stuff from Mexico/ArizonaCalifornia (which typically the ones with health issues! My USDA friend says the problem in the past has been due to unsanitary practices of some of the pickers)! My wife had a very rich and flavorfl ham and bean soup. Daughter and wife split an order of Beef Stroganoff served over homemade wide noodles. Last but not least was the great service. read more

Been coming here for years. We love the atmosphere & have always enjoyed the food & staff. The past 3 visits since Spring have been less than stellar. The food lacks the love & attention it used to. Don't get me wrong it's still good, just not great. The little changes such as the salt for peppers & oil, the lettuce in the simple salad, the lack of flavor in the fries. Needed to get a gift card, so stopped in for dinner to give it a try! Made reservations easily online. One we got there, we decided to sit at the bar instead! Service was fantastic and we loved the atmosphere. Started with the tuna appetizer and loved the variety that came with it. Tuna was so tender and of great quality. I ordered the steak medallions. I love blue cheese sauce and the mushrooms were a nice addition. My husband ordered the chicken and funnel cake and thought it was delicious. A bit sweet, but so different! Lovely and well maintained patio with pretty flowers for outside dining. While mosquitos will bother you at dark evenings, it is lovely to spend outside when the weather is beaitiful. Food is pretty good - we had salmon and duck. The best food I enjoyed was the freshly baked fluffy bread with three toppings (pictured) We had flourless chocolate cake. It was fair. This is a pleasant find. Stopped in the first time because it "looked nice" and had favorable reviews on Yelp. That influenced a second visit. Everything is excellent, but their pickle-brined chicken demands special attention. The brine delivers tender and moist meat without the "saltiness" some brine can leave. Sandwiches and their version of Chicken &Waffles (their's replaces the waffle with a funnel cake!) are a treat. My wife enjoyed their Flat Bread, the staff is uniformly pleasant and the surrounding are cozy. When we want to take a longer ride, this has become our new "go to" spot. read more

My husband and I had a late evening dinner here. We've dined here before and never been disappointed. We started out with the Fried Brussels appetizer, a favorite of ours. Then we shared the Simple Salad, plenty for two. I have to say, this is anything but simple. It's fresh and flavorful, maybe it was the house-made herb dill ranch that made it taste so delicious. For our entrees my husband had the Burton Steak Sandwich and fries, plentiful. I got the Blackened Mango Grouper with sweet potato hash and asparagus. The grouper was a good sized portion and so delicious. The mango salsa was a nice enhancement. The sweet potato hash was a wonderful blend that included brussels and was a nice accompaniment to the fish. The asparagus was asparagus. My plate was more than a hungry appetite could handle. Our server was pleasant and made some very helpful recommendations. We opted for a low table inside but the patio seating looked inviting as well. I had the Asiago steak salad, very fresh greens, creamy avocado topped with a perfectly prepared steak and grated Parmesan cheese with a light, nicely balanced dressing. Side of green beans with pancetta and cashews......one word delicious. Served warm, not greasy and the pancetta mixed with the flavor and crunch of the cashews OH MY! I wouldn't have cared except it was the size of a 50¢ piece. I asked for extra dressing but never received it. Hubby got the chicken sandwich and he said it was 'alright'. This was a Sunday night. Food...well, from salad to dessert disappointing and bordered on tainted. I walked past the kitchen which is near the restroom and was appalled. The door was wide open, and the floor appeared to not have been cleaned in weeks. Food that should have been kept refrigerated sitting about, on several countertops that were cluttered and unkempt. Warren's was a great ending to our Father's Day! We came in after boating with Dad and we're seated inside immediately. Everyone working is nice and friendly and the specials were explained upon sitting down. They always have something exciting on their rotating specials! The vibes at this spot are kind of like a contemporary cozy cabin. We got the crispy Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and EVERYONE agreed those were a hit, along with the Pepper Oil w/ dipping bread. The meat eaters had plenty of hearty options to choose from and I enjoyed trying a watermelon & fried labneh (Lebanese cheese!) salad. They have a beyond burger option and some helpful little indicators to let you know what's veg and what's not. Thanks for that!! Don't go here if you are trying to get in and out as it took us an hour to get a few cheeseburgers with only 3 other tables with customers. As for the food, it's good that it is locally sourced, but it is really over seasoned. We had to change our order to go as it took way too long, and it was obvious that the food was over seasoned since we had to roll the windows down while driving. I am a regular out of town visitor to Warren's Spirited Kitchen. I come into the Burton area every few months for work and always make it a point to stop in. My most recent visit was just as wonderful as all of my prior visits. On this trip, I had my regular appetizer, Hot Peppers & Oil. It is a perfect blend of seasonings combined with robust flavors of sweet & hot peppers and olive oil. I highly recommend it as a beginning to your meal. For my main course, I went for the Sweet Potato Gnocchi which I believe to be a seasonal item as I don't recall it having been on the menu before. The dish boasts house made sweet potato gnocchi, roasted garlic, fennel, edamame, wild mushrooms, kale, orange ginger glaze and crispy pork belly. I was drawn to the dish because I thought, "wow, that's a lot of flavor!" I was not disappointed. Each bite was a delicious experience. The only criticism I would have is that there was too much pork belly for my liking, but what I criticize, I am sure another would enjoy very much! This was our second time dining (trying to dine this time) at Warren's. First time was good, this one was not. I can't even rate the food because it never came out. We waited 45 minutes, never once did anyone come check on us that whole time. They were not busy. There was staff everywhere but it was like we were invisible. We paid for our drinks and left. The server who waited on us did not say a word... did not apologize, did not try to make it right in any way. Awful service. Sorry, we won't be back. read more

Nice little restaurant in a small town trying to be upscale but comes up a little short. Very friendly staff and the place appears to be quite clean other than the air conditioners in the bar area, they really needed a good cleaning. I get the feeling in the summer they rely on tourists and come winter they may lack local support. Interesting big city menu but Very pricey! I ordered the Geauga county burger med rare ($14.!!!) with the rosemary fries, $6. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were awesome!
