Really would give 3.5 stars. Service is okay, not great. But they are really accommodating for big groups. Food, for the most part, is good. I enjoyed the fries but the fish with the fish and chips was the worst fish I've had. Wings were good, ahi tuna nachos were okay. Ube cheesecake is pretty good. I didn't try the burger, but others enjoyed it. Best thing I had was the bang bang shrimp. We ordered food to share so food in pics aren't full orders.

I did not expect the fish burger to be this big when it arrived in front of me. I could not fit my mouth around the burger because the beer-battered pollack was so large, which is not a complaint at all. It was super crispy and piping hot since it was fresh out of the fryer. I thought $18 seemed a bit steep at first but this lasted me two meals because I got full so quickly. I ordered it with mixed greens as my side so that it could act as a palate cleanser to balance the fried food. The staff was very kind and it was pretty empty both inside and outside when we went for happy hour on Friday but more people started trickling in as we were leaving. There's parking in the back or street parking if it's full.

Really good chicken! Didn't have any beer so I can't speak on that but our food was good! Chicken juicy and seasoned to perfection. We were seated right away on a Sunday early evening. Friendly staff, and they have plenty of outdoor seating with a GIANT tv to watch whatever sporting event. I can't wait to come back!

Fries and ketchup (Yuta jjk is a bum)

Fries good and cheap, don't forget to lick the ketchup so you don't waste money. Service is fine, and ambiance is fine Don't forget to lick the ketchup so you don't waste money

This place always offers great beer and food. This time I got their Banh mi , so good. It's a mix of roast beef and aju.

This place was so fun with our dog! There is ample outdoor seating for brunch in the front. The patio is covered in tarp or you can eat under the side of the building. There are also heat lamps for those chilly days. If you drive by too fast you might miss it and there is street parking only. I think the alley is in the back but not sure if there is parking there. The place was more of a hipster Eagle Rock vibe located on the south side of Monterey Park by the 60. Service was prompt and friendly. They always filled our water glasses and made sure we were ok. I had a craving for chicken & waffles (A+) and this place popped up. The chicken was crispy and tender and the waffles cooked to perfection. The peppers added a nice kick to the dish but it wasn't overpowering. I prefer this over Howlin' Rays tbh. Would definitely order this again along with other dishes when I invite more people because the chicken & waffles definitely fed 2!! A non-pretentious venue that is pet friendly and will be on rotate for my future dining options.

Wish I discovered this place sooner - it's been an absolute go to spot for me and the boys! Satisfy your cravings with a hearty Fish Burger or Chimichurri Steak Sandwich and down it with their signature cocktails or many beer selections on tap. They've got parking in the back alley so be sure to tap in there or with street parking right on Garfield. Such a vibe with their patio and nightlights - kick it here sometime if you haven't!

Ambiance is really cool, feels cozy and they have a big TV for the games. Service is top tier our server Dylan was chill and helpful. Food is really good, I really enjoyed the elote egg rolls they tasted just like a cheese emapandas. Really flaky. Their Bánh mì was good, 2x times better when you dip it. The star of the show is their draft beer, they have a great red and white ale, and their Mexican sal y limon beer was superb. Will be coming back for more beer. Quick shot out to John, his beer recommendations are the reason I love and keep coming back to this place.

We sat in the outside area - my husband enjoyed his beer & I loved the refreshing watermelon sangria!

We enjoyed this place! We had dropped off friends @ LAX at 4pm on a Thursday...and after sitting in traffic nearly an 1 1/2 & it would be another 45 minutes or more to get home, we were hungry & wanted dinner & drinks. Found this place in Yelp & it didn't disappoint. Good food, service & drinks. The weather was surprisingly pleasant sitting outside on an August evening. If in the area again, we will stop at BKB. We had the shrimp appetizer & shared the fish & chips. Very generous portions! Parking was unique, but we found a spot out front easily.

If you're looking for a laid back spot in sgv I would say this is probably the place. We came here on a Friday night, sat at the patio and enjoyed our dinner and drinks outdoors. As we were sitting at the patio, we noticed a table was celebrating a birthday and brought some crops to decorate the table, which was neat. The service was good as well. After we ordered our food and drinks, they would come back to follow up if we needed anything else. Food ordered : - Cajun shrimp po boy (comes with salad or fries) Super flavorful and crunchy. - Tuna Melt (comes with salad or fries) This was WORTH to order even if you think you can just make this at home. The portion is definitely enough to share with two people. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a chill place to catch up with friends or if had a long day from work, quick dinner and a drink solo

Small independent businesses are vital to the economy, that's why I would rather patronize them over big box stores. In the City of Monterey Park, there's a plethora of Asian restaurants, particularly Chinese. There aren't many Pubs, Brewhouses or the likes. Then there's Brew Kitchen. Probably one of a handful of breweries here in the area. Their food selection is big enough to warrant a visit here. Their craft beer selection is pretty big although I'm not a drinker, but seems pretty good. Service is very attentive and the wait staff very friendly. The vibe is lively and plenty of outdoor seating. Parking is mostly street parking but there is plenty. If you are looking for a brewery/pub, Brew Kitchen is the place to go!

I visited this spot on a Thursday afternoon for a beer & some snacks. There is a few street parking in the front or you can find their parking lot in the back alley. Seating either outside or inside. Menus are scanned via QR code. Servers were attentive & open to questions regarding the happy hour specials & beer selections. I ordered the truffle mushroom grilled cheese with a Mexican lager. The dish has an option for salad or fries. Of course I went with French fries. Overall , yummy 10/10. The beer was a 9/10 , a little colder would've been nice. I would definitely come back to try their other items such as soju jelly shots or soju cocktails. A chill spot to catch up with a friend or do a group gathering.

What's up: It's time for our Happy Hour get together! This time around, we picked this place because I saw that their Happy Hour menu had Soju Jello Shots! Call us intrigued :) Parking: Not great. They have a handful of spots in the back where you have to access through the alley. And there are a few spots up front on the busy S Garfield Ave. When those get filled, you're gonna have to park a bit farther on the nearby streets. Environment: There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Outdoor seating has several patio options. We originally sat outside but opted to go in when the flies started getting to us. Staff members were friendly but became sparse towards the end. What was ordered: - HH Soju Jello Shot (strawberry is definitely the best among the pineapple and blue raspberry flavors) - HH Lemon Pepper Shrimp Chips (tangy and yummy) - HH Spicy Garlic Tofu Bites (tasty with the slightly spicy and tangy dipping sauce) - HH Cheeseburger Quesadilla (yummy hamburger taste and super cheesy) - Pizzaport CA Honey (crisp and refreshing) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The food was pretty good and the Soju Jello Shots definitely were delicious. Credit cards are accepted.

    Elite cheese egg rolls.
