I stopped in here during Tulip Time with some girls in my family. The staff was very friendly and seemed to be happy that we had come. I ordered a mocha, my niece - a cortado, my sister - a dirty chai, and my mother - plain coffee. Each of us liked our choices. Both my sister and I thought ours were very good! Took a day trip to Pella to do some exploring and found this cafe via Yelp. We decided to stop in Sunday morning and get some work done before lunch. So happy to see that there are some COVID precautions are in place -- masks are recommended for customers, tables are very spaced out, some outdoor seating, and employees are all wearing masks. I ordered just my usual iced latte and wasn't quite a fan of the default whole milk that they had used in it. They graciously offered to remake it with any of their other milk options and I opted for the oat milk! The oat milk latte is one of the best I've had in awhile. Customer service and satisfaction are definitely worthy of 5 stars alone here!! Do check it out if you are in the area. Very cute interior as well. Great ambience for hanging out with friends, doing some some work/studying, or just grabbing a cup to go. I will definitely stop by here the next time I am in town. read more

We coffee there occasionally. Pleasant atmosphere. Iced tea is one glass and no more free. Sodas are in cans. Baked goods have been frozen I think. Coffee drinkers enjoy the java. I'd rather go somewhere to have brewed tea with free refills and fresh food. read more

Lovely little place in downtown Pella! I ordered a Dark Chocolate Frappe with Oak Milk and a shot of espresso... best smoothie coffee I've ever tried. The gal helping my group was SO nice and very helpful with her suggestions. They had a lot of tea, coffee, latte, and smoothie options to choose from as well as some cute bakery items. I highly recommend this place! I'm coming back tomorrow to try their cold brew. read more

My buddies and I went to Brew Coffee House two days ago. The owner + other employee were very helpful and kind. It is a very stylish restaurant and has a really pretty aesthetic. I ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream (not a coffee guy) and it tasted delicious. It was surprisingly good for hot chocolate. I paired it with a slice of banana bread and it was a good choice. It was tasty, kept at the right temperature, and wasn't dry. The shaded outdoor seating, combined with pretty plants, light beats to listen to all created a fun and peaceful vibe. read more

My favorite place to study. They have some of the best coffee in town. Always have a house, origin, and flavor blend. Cold brew, nitro brew--a unique cold coffee, a few teas, and other typical Coffeehouse drinks available. You can't go wrong! I usually recommend the flavor coffee, it changes daily but is always great. The iced pour over Tanzania blend is divine. It comes in a huge beaker if you stay awhile. The origin is also always fantastic. Not a huge fan of their house blend. Decent seating, only a few booths. LIMITED outlets available for charging your devices if you need it. A few tables for outdoor seating are great for warm afternoons! Took away a star because their food options are not the best. Never more than 3 baristas on the clock and they double duty with the food prep. The kitchen space they have is pretty tiny and they only heat with a microwave and panini press. Food isn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend for lunch. The coffee is what makes this place shine! You can always order George's across the hall and have it sent right to your seat--they're operated by the same owners and the staff will help! Pizza and coffee makes for a great afternoon. read more

So happy to be here - kind of don't want to leave and explore. Purchased a cappuccino for here (they do have here cups) and it's fantastic! Then ordered a turkey hummus panini - BAM! Damn good folks! I'm set! The staff is super friendly, the music is coffee shop appropriate, seating is more than adequate with an array of different options and clean. It has a ton of warm character too. This is the place to go for a good, no frills cup of coffee or cafe au lait. While not the very best coffee drinks I've had in my life, they're consistently good, and better than the place across the street. The Brew is a bit more upscale and "adult" in atmosphere and clientele, which makes it much quieter for a place to read the paper or talk with a friend. I'd like to see more and better options for baked goods in the front counter. read more

Wow! I only went in to order and the went on my way, so all I'm speaking to is the quality of coffee. That being said, MEE-YOW is their coffee excellent! I was feeling indecisive so I asked a young lady what her favorite hot espresso drink was and she mentioned the miel. I don't usually gravitate that way, but then she said they had just made some lavender syrup that morning and I was sold. It was the most delicious latte I've ever had! I've been getting coffee here every Saturday for four years. It used to be a 5 star place, but in the last year and a half it has gone down. They have had higher turn over of employees which is fine, but when they're busy working behind the counter and you walk up they just look at you and walk away or keep doing what they're doing. I understand they're very busy, but a simple "I'll be right with you" or "One moment please" would go a long way. They also used to bring your drink to you at your table, especially when you sat upstairs, but now they just yell it out. Again, it's fine, but they used to bring it to you, but now if you don't hear them they'll point at you and yell. It's just a little rude. They don't ever seem very happy on Saturdays. The consistency of the drinks is all over the place now. I miss the days when they roasted the coffee in house and Curtis ran a tight ship as the manager. Hope they can get the quality of service and consistency back or we might have to find a new Saturday coffee place. read more
