The "kid" that took my money had an awesome haircut and looked happy to be at work. The woman at the drive through even gave me information on how to apply for a job! A few weeks ago, my mom, son and I had lunch there and it was great. My son and I go in there regularly, and he loves it. It's always the first place he requests, that and Happy Joe's Pizza!! Anyways, I love it too as a mom because it's super safe, he can go to the bathroom by himself and I don't have to worry. The team members at the counter give him their attention and listen while he orders, which he loves to do by himself. It's a great chance for us to have teachable moments. And, he's usually on his best behavior because the place is packed with elders. So -There is a reason that my son always requests McDonald's on our mother/son dates. I even noticed she was bussing tables, cleaning table tops and booth seats (very thoroughly) and even had time to thank people for coming as they left. Her name was Lily. Our server was Sarah who also made me the most amazing "perfect margarita". Our food was very hot and delicious! I had the Prime Rib Dipper and my husband had the ribs.
