Stopped in for lunch & just beat the rush! Bright, clean & airy! I had wild rice soup that came with delicious bread! Friend's chicken salad made her want to come back for more. We shared a PECAN PIE BREAD PUDDING with vanilla bean sauce!!!!Wow! It was yummy & enough for two! You can take home a loaf of bread or even subscribe to a bread order! We'll be back!

You order at the counter and pay and then go up when it is ready. I went with the soup of the day (a pesto tortellini) and half a grilled cheese sandwich which came on sourdough. Both were very good! I want to try more of the breads next time! read more

What a great lunch stop! Went in on a Friday around 12:30 and the bank place was pretty full, but there were a few tables available. I stepped up to the lunch counter and ordered the 1/2 Dried Beef Gouda Melt. The sandwich came out quickly, with a real plate and silverware, which is a nice touch. The sandwich was delicious! Fresh, tasty bread and tasty Gouda. The combination of beef, cheese, and sauce was right on spot. It's a cool old building with lots of seating, self-service water (another nice touch), and lots of bread, dessert, soup, and other options to grab and go. Pleasant and friendly service. read more

Ok , so this place was amazing for lunch! The turkey club is delicious and the rosemary braids are to die for. We bought some Gouda bread and cranberry raisin and they look delicious. I can make better sandwiches at home with store bought bread. The staff certainly aren't welcoming and actually rude at times. Additionally, the prices are ridiculous for what is served. Do yourself a favor and skip this place! read more

Went to get a bowl of soup and also tried to order a take home quart of the daily soup. was told I couldnt and would have to wait until the end of the day to see if any left. First problem-paid for a bowl and got a cup (realized when got home). Went back the next day to see about the take home quarts. While waiting in line anothet customer ordered a take home quart of the daily soup. He was given the soup and charged the next day rate (which is discounted) without any question or being told no. Treat all your customers the same. read more

You know when you've had a day? Well, this place should make it all better. I was here for a work lunch (hence no photos taken) and when the door was opened for me, the wonderful smell of baked goods made me smile. They have a small menu with a couple soups (changes daily), sandwiches, salads and quiche. They also have a huge variety of baked goods such as crofin? I don't think I am saying that right (cross between a muffin and croissant with various fruit fillings) and a bread pudding od the day. My head was spinning, so much to take in and I was a bit on sensory overload with this marvelous establishment. They also have some fun gifts if you wish. read more

Good soup, wonderful bread, and a delightful seating area. The sweets are nice but the bread is the real star. The owner is often in the kitchen and you can really sense her pride in ownership. Heidi goes out of her way to serve the community and welcome her guests. A nice stop for lunch (or a container of soup to-go for supper). Be sure to take a loaf of bread home for toast the next day. read more

Cute, smells Devine, taste even better. Really special place in Pella, just off the square. Neat back story, hardworking and super friendly staff. I had the salad and it was fresh snd LOADED. It wasn't all greens with toppings only on top, the adornments were throughout...and the dressing, with a side croissant, so good. And you must grab a loaf of the sourdough bread to go. read more

I ate a sandwich and it was pretty terrible. The Gouda cheese that was on it was not very good that cheese sets the Dutch back 500 years in advancements. Stick to tulips and Calvinism Netherlands. Service was alright. It also was very clean but I care about food more. read more

Love this place! The chicken salad on croissant isy go to, but Amy of the meat and cheese croissants are great if you want a hot meal. For something sweet, it's a tough choice between a cruffin and the rotating flavor of bread pudding, so get both. read more

Absolutely incredible tasting food! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu! You can taste the freshness. You can tell each ingredient was carefully thought out and made with love. Staff is always happy & helpful. The atmosphere is incredible. You can see right into the kitchen (super organized & clean always!), original brick walls, beautiful wall decor telling the story of the business. Very quick service! read more

When you first walk in the door the aroma is breath taking, the food is delicious and meets the expectations after walking through the door, the owner is amazing and most generally found in the kitchen making the dishes from scratch. The daily specials are the go to and the bread pudding is my favorite no matter what flavor it is that day. 100% recommend! read more

this is a wonderful place to come for breakfast or lunch or just to meet for coffee with a friend. What I love about it is that they have gluten free goodies available. Their bread is wonderful and you can also order that gluten-free. I love their salads and my husband loves the chicken salad croissant. Check it out when you are in Pella. read more
