It took me a while to try this place because I know the parking is really bad in that area. But man do I regret not coming here sooner. The drinks are actually so good, very unique, and the quality is great. Definitely need to try more of their drinks. Parking tip, if there isn't any parking inside, go park in the back street by where Safeway is. There are so many different options, but their specialty drinks are the best! Service is pretty fast, you order at a kiosk. There's benches at each end inside so you can wait and chill. What I've had so far: Creme Brulee Milk Tea - So good!! I'd recommend less sweet to balance it out tho. The bruleed top is the besttt texture!! Ube Taro Milk - This was legit so good, I HATE when Ube things don't taste like ube fr. This was so ube-y and I love that it was also taro. Banana Milk Tea - For true banana fans, this was definitely real and fresh banana. Better than the cute banana milk in a box.

Parking: free lot in the back Service: took about 10 mins Drink: I liked the many different drink options. The matcha was not bad 4/5. I enjoyed the sesame taste added. Boba was not great. Not a top matcha spot for me, but would try a different drink if I was in the area.

    Crème brûlée matcha and hojicha

My friend and I stopped by Brew Cha while we were in the area since the reviews were great, but we ended up pretty disappointed. Both drinks, even though we ordered them at 50% sweetness, were way too sweet - closer to 100% / past that. I could understand the crème brûlée drink being a little sweeter, but even my friend's hojicha leaned more toward chocolate powder than the roasted hojicha flavor we were expecting. The boba was mushy with almost no chew, which made it pretty unenjoyable. On top of that, the crème brûlée topping separated when mixed into the drink, becoming chunky instead of smooth. I've had crème brûlée-style boba drinks elsewhere, and they usually blend well and add a nice layer of flavor, so this felt like an odd experience. On the bright side, the service and space were genuinely great. The shop is bright, there's a comfy couch, and parking was easy. Overall, I really wanted to like this place, but the drinks just didn't land for us. I'm willing to give it another try and chalk this up to bad luck or end-of-day timing.

It was really busy when I went in the middle of the day. It only took 8 minutes for my drink to come out even though there were drinks ahead of me. I got the $7.60 24 oz tiramisu milk tea. It tasted like a normal milk tea with tiramisu cream and powder on top. It was okay. I liked their banana milk drink a lot better. The space is really small. It gets a bit tight if a lot of people are waiting inside for their drinks.

Food: - We got the Black Sesame Matcha Latte and the Red Bean Matcha Latte - I liked the Black Sesame a bit more, it was grainy but it tasted better with the matcha (7/10) - The red bean was cold and the bean was harder than I would've liked so it was kind of hard to enjoy in a drink (6/10) - Matcha in both wasn't that strong either - Lots of drinks to choose from - 6/10 Service: - Server was nice - Very few people so the drinks were served in a few minutes - 8/10 Ambiance: - Place was kind of hard to park and find, it in the middle of a couple of other businesses in one big building and Apple Maps wasn't directing us to the right place - Small, no seating - meant to grab and go - 6/10 Overall Rating: 6/10

    Black Sugar Tiramisu Coffee Latte
    Stephanie L.

Small boba spot located next to StarBird, mostly for grab & go. There are two kiosks where you can order. I got their black sugar series: Black Sugar Tiramisu Coffee Latte, Black Sugar Matcha Latte, and Black Sugar Creme Brûlée Latte. Their Black Sugar Tiramisu Coffee Latte was really good, both strong in coffee and tiramisu. I noticed they don't have much coffee drinks, they should add more! The matcha latte was pretty good. It's actually a good combo. The crème brûlée was really sweet and milky for my liking. Their boba was really soft, which is great.

Ube Taro Latte, Fresh Mango Tea
    Kristi I.

The Fresh Mango Tea was exactly as advertised--fresh and mango-y. I don't mind fruit teas made with syrup, but I can also appreciate fresh fruit teas made with real fruit purée. The boba was nice and sweet, but I personally prefer my boba cooked a tad bit longer. I wouldn't say the boba was undercooked, but it was definitely more on the chewy side. The service was friendly. We were greeted when we entered, and the employee patiently waited while we took some time scrolling through the menu on the self-order kiosks. This is a takeout only place. There are two benches to sit on while you wait for your drinks, but there are no tables for hanging out.

Tried their chestnut crème brûlée latte and wasn't a fan. Lacks the creaminess and it tastes bland, like majority of their drinks. Their ube taro latte is still their best drink I'd always come back for!

This is Brew Cha's second location in the bay area, with their original flagship in the Mission in SF. I came here for the soft opening discount, and yes it did take half an hour to get our drinks, but that's fine as I suspect that's not the same after the initial hype. While the parking here is a lot better than SF, it's a small lot behind the shop, so you're still at the mercy of people being randomly active in the area. They happen to be next to a Starbird, if you're looking for something to eat with your drink! There is standing room only (and barely) at this location. - Roasted Oolong Tea The temperature for the hot tea is hot yet drinkable, and there's an extra charge to add any milk option. We had it with organic whole milk, and while you can taste the tea, I would have liked it to be creamier and more roasted in flavor; the mixture of tea, sugar, and milk didn't quite give us the satisfaction as a hot milk tea usually does. - Brew Cha Fruit Tea with black boba Boba was warm with a firm chewiness, flavored, and good. Tea strength was great and appropriate for 25% sweetness, and I think they were true to the less ice modification. The top was oddly foamy, but the fruits were fresh, which is what you prioritize in these combination fruit teas. It states there are strawberry, lime, apple, and oranges in here, and it tasted like a good balance between the citrus and sweet fruits. I like that every drink has the option to add free black boba (other toppings are an additional cost). They have enough variety to satisfy most people's flavor preferences, and their prices are fair for boba these days. While not many things draw me in to travel to SSF these days, if I do happen to be around, Brew Cha is a solid choice for tea.

Ube Taro Milk Tea and Matcha Brûlée
    Stacey I.

Brew Chaw automatically takes me back to the time of the pandemic, as this was my boba kick during that time, but from the San Francisco location. I can say that the SSF location is of about the same quality. Is it my favorite boba place? No. But Brew Cha is definitely added to my go-to boba spots based on convenience, proximity, and drink variation. *Go to order: Matcha Brulee Milk Tea or Passion Fruit Jasmine Tea w/ Lychee Jelly DRINKS: 8/10 I feel the quality of the drinks is decent, and I appreciate that they execute the flavor profiles as described. For example, if you get a Taro drink, it tastes like legit Taro rather than the instant Taro powder. The Matcha Brulee is my favorite, as you taste the custard of the Brulee and the matcha. I find their boba toppings to be soft as well, with a good qq bouncy texture. For many of their milk tea drinks, I don't know what it is, but it's always served warm, and I wish it would be served cold right away. I guess maybe it's because it's made fresh to order, but it would just be nice not to always being served a warm drink and having to wait for the ice to cool it down. SERVICE: 8/10 You can order at the Kiosks that they have or order from the staff. However, I suggest ordering at the kiosks as most of the time, they are busy taking orders. Staff are friendly as well. AMBIANCE: 7/10 It is a really small place and not a place to sit down and drink your boba or catch up with friends.

The service was great and interior had a couch to sit and talk. The drinks were nothing very special, and they didn't really stand out to me. My sister ordered a milk tea drink and the flavor of the tea wasn't as strong as she hoped (and she got 0 sugar), For me, I did consider the drinks to be on the sweeter side (like too sweet). Hence the 4 stars, as I am yet to be wowed!

    Blueberry tea with boba
    Liliana H.

Yummy overall. Did 50% sugar in all of the fruit flavored tea so could've increased it. One star down just because my tea wasn't blueberry forward- images showed blueberries in the cup so I thought it would have some, but it was just flavoring I guess. Boba was very yummy and bouncy! Also ordered strawberry tea boba and raspberry tea boba.

I visited Brew Cha twice in the last week because I am excited to have a new boba place nearby. The first time I visited I ordered the crème brûlée milk tea, 25% sweetness, less ice and less boba. It was delicious and the perfect combination for me. I went in when there was only one other customer and it took about 10 minutes - no problem, I thought, I'll order ahead next time. Next time I ordered ahead online and had an estimated wait time of 10 minutes. That 10 minutes turned into 21 minutes (which I was not expecting... I had a work call I had to run too ASAP). Additionally, I ordered their black sugar banana milk, 25% sweetness. This time, the drink did not taste so good - it was like a smoothie you make in the nutribullet and a lot of the drink is air bubbles (which isn't very tasty). I would definitely skip this drink, especially given that the drinks are on the pricey side. Their grand opening is on Saturday 3/1. Right now, they are having a soft opening (be sure to use code SOFT20) for 20% your order at check out. Inside there is standing room only, no seating. I hope to visit again and improve my reviews if I enjoy more of the drinks and wait times improve.

I am so in love with the tea here, it tastes exactly the way I like it. I love how they use the teapresso machine to brew the tea leaves which makes the flavor stronger. The cafe's decor looks clean and it has a good vibes, and when I went, it was not too busy. Chicha San Chen is the super hyped bubble tea shop from Taiwan that's apparently won a bunch of tea…read morerelated accolades that I won't pretend to be remotely familiar with. Their ordering system is entirely via two kiosks, which can be annoying if the customers ahead are slow, ordering a bunch of drinks, or both. They really should have a policy for cashiers handling smaller orders (2-3 drinks or less) and forcing kiosks only for larger groups. The estimated wait times vary pretty wildly, so take their posted estimates with a grain of salt. It stated 15-20 minutes when I was there, but it took about 25 (and we were just the 2nd group in line, though there were clearly tons of queued orders already with people standing around or sitting waiting). When we finally got our drinks, the Classic Ding Dong Oolong Milk Tea and the Milk Tea with Taro Balls and Taro Paste, I was expecting really prominent tea flavor like you get from the best milk teas in Taiwan and HK, especially given their hand-brewing process for each cup (which partly explains why wait times balloon). Sadly, I got very little tea flavor from either drink. That said, the fresh taro paste and taro balls were very tasty, with the balls having fantastic QQ chewiness. Prices are a bit much though, at almost $10 for that drink alone. I honestly think they could cut costs on gimmicks like the rope carriers (cute for influencers, but pretty useless and likely jacks up the price for regular customers). One silver lining from the long wait is that we spilled over into a free tea tasting slot. Miranda was fantastic as our guide as she was super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. She walked us through how their Lishan Oolong Tea (sold separately, not used for in-store drinks) is harvested and sun-baked into 5 different varietals, each with unique colors, aromas, and tastes (and following the sun both literally and figuratively in terms of names and descriptors). Overall, it's a fun experience if you enjoy that sort of thing (and your wait happens aligns with a tasting slot or you can always a reserve ahead of time as well), so 5 stars for Miranda and the tasting, but the actual milk teas were lacking and a disappointment given the hype, cost and wait.

We were probably thirsty from our 2 1/2 hour drive from Monterey, grubbing on the rich and tasty food from Original Joe's, and walking around the bumping shopping center. Wifey is always in the mood for boba, coffee, or flavored tea. We turned to our trustworthy Yelp app and found Pit Stop Boba Shop. Pretty cool to find a boba shop inside a Arco gas station. Besides the uniqueness of its location, Pit Stop served arguably one of the most refreshing and tasty drinks we've had. I knocked it down to 4.5 stars because one of the gas pumps has a skimmer and I was alerted by my bank of a fraudulent charge. Buyer beware buying gas from this gas station. Pit Stop is on the corner of Gellert Blvd. and Westborough Blvd. It's across from another gas station that houses a Subway and Chase bank is across the way. If you're bewildered pulling into an Arco gas station to buy boba, you are not in the wrong location. Pit Stop shares the Arco convenience store where you would normally buy snacks, sodas, and candy, which you also could purchase. The convenience store and Pit Stop are independent businesses, so if you want a boba, you'll need to place your order at their register. Parking consists of what any gas station usually has, so we just parked at one of the gas pumps since we had to get gas. There aren't any tables to chillax and I'm sure most of their business is to go orders. The decor fits the gas station theme with its order counter looking like an industrial tool box, auto service ads plastered on the wall, and other knick knacks. The young lady behind the counter was friendly and got our drink order out pretty quickly. This would be a true statement for Pit Stop. I went to get gas, but came home with some boba. The menu consists of specialty drinks, instructions to make your own drink, and they also sell snacks. This was our first time visiting a boba shop hidden inside a gas station and you might be thinking there's no way quality drinks can come out of a gas station. I can assure you that you would be wrong. I highly recommend you order their #4 specialty drink, the TooTea FruiTea, because it was refreshing, sweet, and tasty. This drink comes with strawberry, peach, mango, organic green tea, and actual strawberry, mango, and pineapple bits. I really enjoyed the combination of the different fruit flavors and the chewy treats of the fruit pieces. My wife ordered their #2 specialty drink, the Lychee Peachberry, and just like me, she really enjoyed her drink. I would have never thought that a boba shop inside a gas station would serve memorable drinks. The Pit Stop Boba Shop is not only a memorable place, but it has drinks that makes it worthwhile for you to make a pit stop. Just make sure to check for any skimmers if you're buying gas at the Arco.
