Great atmosphere and the flatbreads and pretzel bites are . Haven't had a beer I didn't like. Honestly my favorite brewery in the area!

Enjoyed an IP & a Stout here. Fantastic beer and fun location. Recommend having a could one on the deck overlooking the park & Cedar River.

My family and I visited Toppling Goliath for dinner yesterday. We were looking forward to dinner…read moreafter a long drive from the UP. Immediately, Kari greeted us with a smile and sat us. Brayden promptly came and took our order as we were thirsty. All of the sudden, Clark joined us at the table and we had a quick discussion about beer. We then found out he was the owner. We discussed beer and he was very generous with his time and recommended what to try. We were extremely pleased with the beer. The food was top notch as well as we tried the burger of the month and a few pizzas. Will definitely be back if we are ever in the area. Highly recommend a stop!

This is one of those "destination" breweries that is as much about hosting events as it is making…read moregreat beer. That said, the beer tends to be excellent (if they have it on tap). It's an enormous, industrial-chic space and is built for events and charter busses. Their patio is dog friendly but you have to come inside to order at the bar after checking in. The food looked decent and the pretzel was ok. Standard, uninspired brewpub food for the most part. Worth noting that their beer list isn't up to date so we missed out on a few barrel aged things they said they had. Basically you have to get there on release day if you want any non-flagship dark beers. It's a nice one-stop shop on a road trip for food and beer but I don't think it's worth going out of the way for.
