Tanya is absolutely amazing!!!!! Like always, I frantically called several places because I decided I wanted a massage that day lol. I first called and realized that because Tanya is the masseuse and renting out a suite in an office building, that she was most likely in a session. That prompted me to text her. She responded quickly and was able to get me in an hour or so after texting her. (You can book her online but it only allows for you to book 4 hours in advance but if you text her she can tell you her availability) When you first walk into the building, take the elevators to the first floor. Make a left out of the elevator and at the end of the hall way another left and her suite 122 is the first door on the right. Her massage room is extremely cozy with a sitting area separated by curtains. Don't worry if there is a client in session you won't have access so there are no privacy concerns. She has an endless amount of essential oils to the right and even gives you a small smelling sample at the end of your session and she adds any scent to your massage. I chose the eucalyptus one (amazing!!!) and does not charge you extra like others do. Now onto the massage, she is perfect!!! I went for a relaxation massage and that's exactly what I got. She didn't talk to me or ask billions of questions to allow me to snooze and relax. She wasn't offended either when I asked for more pressure. The bed was a bit warm for me so next time I'll need to ask her to turn the heating completely off. At the end of the massage she gives you water and a chocolate truffle. What a surprise and the little things that give her a 5 star. Only downside of this session was at times I could hear cars and trash trucks in the alleyway. I also would recommend for Tanya to have her oils/lotion on both sides of the bed or attached to her on a bag like Massage Envy in the states do so she doesn't have to constantly walk back and forth to get more oil/lotion. It would cut down on time when she is changing sides of the body she is massaging. Highly recommend Tanya and note that you cannot use health benefits/insurance. She does take credit! read more

Tanya is the best. This is a private, dedicated space for her practice. Everything in it is comfortable (except the noise from outside but that tends to melt away into the background because her touch is so great). Her location is in an old office building. I love these old Vancouver buildings. You walk in and it feels like you're in an episode of Mad Men! Walk up the marble stairs (note the old lamp and wrought iron gate) and head up one floor. (Tip: I park at International Village kitty corner from there. Lots of free, ample parking. Be sure to visit Daiso on your way back to the car.) Tanya really gets to know you. I've been to her for a few years now, not as often as I should, but she always remembers where I carry my stress and figures out my current state of tension with a kind of touch assessment before she starts. Tanya had great reviews so earlier in the week I booked a 90 minute. Tanya was very professional and her space was very relaxing, clean and a beautiful spa. Her office is in a very clean, safe restored historical building with architects and other professionals. The best part - the massage was amazing!! I have been getting massages for over 30 years and Tanya was in my top five. So, I thought I would impress my beautiful wife so I booked a couples massage and "sacrificed" by having Tanya work on my wife. When I arrived Tanya had me fill out the intake form, discuss my sore areas and then pick out my aromatherapy oils. A lot of massage places start the clock when you first come in, and you lose around 5-10 minutes of massage time chatting about your issues. Not with Tanya! She starts the clock when you're lying on the table ready to go! Tanya used the exact right amount of pressure, found my problem spots and worked on them in a magical way that fixed the problem and was still relaxing and enjoyable. She uses a mix of different types of massage techniques, none of which I am familiar enough with to list. But it all felt lovely. She wrapped my feet with hot towels near the end - BLISS! As we neared the end, Tanya switched up the aromatherapy oils to a citrus scent to bring me back out of my massage haze. Absolutely Amazing. Firstly- this studio is beautiful. Its a space with a clear intention- to support you, the client, in being able to just let go and breathe and be transformed. I came in feeling fairly good already, other than the chronic tension I am used to experiencing in my shoulders. I expected to feel nice after the massage but I left feeling GREAT. The treatment was not only deeply relaxing but also, I believe, therapeutically beneficial: when I stood up from the table I felt that my posture had improved as a result of the deep flow techniques Tanya had employed- and these improvements have stayed with me in the following days. This review is long overdue. I had the pleasure of meeting Tanya last year when I treated myself to the Goddess treatment. I had had my eye on this business for a while, but never followed through on an appointment as I had RMT coverage. Becoming self-employed and anticipating a stressful season ahead, I booked this treatment. It was phenomenal. What Tanya offers is far beyond any RMT treatment I've experienced (over half a dozen practitioners). Tanya is gracious, kind, and you can feel her heart invested in your healing and well-being. The combination of massage, hot stone, and aromatherapy was divine and put me in a state of deep relaxation and peace. There were points during the treatment where I felt actually quite profoundly moved. It's a bit wild, but I thought to myself this is a person who is channeling some divine energy that already knows me and is familiar with my body - I felt like a baby being handled by an all-knowing, all-powerful, all-loving mother-being.
