Susanna is great at her craft, as I found I was able to finally have some relief and get my range of motion back. Will be going back here as long as I need to. The main con is some RMTs get booked up very fast, or their availability is limited, so you either have to book months in advance or take a day off to be able to get an appointment. Parking is a bit tricky here too, as it's in Kits and there's only side-street parking, which is full most of the time.

Dara and Channy were absolutely professional and fantastic. I had a lot of muscle soreness from exercise recently and the massage was so therapeutic I felt so much better after the treatment. Pricing was reasonable and the location was easy to find. Parking on nearby streets was easy considering parking overall in Vancouver is a pain in the butt. With the massage I specifically requested treatment at the neck, shoulders and the legs. She was able to apply the perfect amount of pressure. Her technique with stretching my soft tissues were also very much appreciated. I have had tons of massage therapies before, including multiple ones recently in Bali, but today's massage ranks one of the best ones I have ever had. I have had many foot massages in my past but never at this place. I phoned and booked an appt. for 3pm - they quoted me $58 for 50 minutes for foot reflexology - good price. As I walked there, I live close by, I realized I was 15 minutes early 2:45--and that was when I was half a block away I saw my watch---they took me in set me up in the back area. It had a slight funky smell I couldn't quite place but comfortable recliner vinyl chairs with nice, dark lighting. They brought me black tea which I don't drink -- I said I'd do Green tea though? No, they don't have that and then they brought me water--water is good. I tell you all this because time is ticking by... I took off shoes and socks they brought foot bath as per norm had me turn around and move to the ottoman and the woman started to rub my shoulders--it was nice but I was there for my feet. Places often do this though to start as a complimentary service as your feet soak. That done, I moved back to the chair while she took the tub away I looked at my watch and it was 2:58 pm. She returned and thankfully moved onto my foot reflexology--it was a nice massage but not the best -- wasn't bad, kinda' just ok, but the woman was nice and friendly. Then very quickly it was over she got a hot towel to clean the oil off my feet and I looked at my watch and it was 3:34pm---whaaa? This was supposed to be a 50 minute massage for $58. So I said that it was not long enough--the very nice masseuse said 'oh the shoulder rub was part of it and the foot soak.' I noted I did not ask for a shoulder rub--I wanted a foot massage--she then had to talk with 'her boss' who proceeded to arrive and argue with me ruining any relaxation I had previously achieved saying basically -- 'too bad that was what they did there'. Now if I had wanted a combination massage I would have booked a combination massage, they have that available too for purchase---I wanted simply a 50 min foot massage--but now I just wanted to leave! What they should have done is just add another minimum 10 minutes as it was pretty obviously a lean service. I had said what time it was when the foot massage begun--not to mention what time I had actually arrived thru the front door---so it should have at least gone on for another 13 minutes. I had had enough arguing I put my shoes on as the 'boss' angily left the back area. I still gave my masseuse a $10 cash tip--was not her fault for the nastiness of her boss and their ridiculous policy. The nasty 'boss' was conveniently on the phone when I went up to pay. So I paid $60.90 (+$10 tip) for a nice but not great 36 minute foot massage--with a side helping of stress afterwards from the mean, non customer service friendly 'boss'. I wish I had asked if she was the owner? I write this to let others know what they may experience, and be forewarned of their practises as well as if this 'boss' does not own the establishment - the one who does own it knows what is actually going on there. I was the only customer there for the duration---which now makes a lot of sense.

I was in a lot of pain but I had no idea how much until the RMT, Scott, managed to work a lot of it loose. Scott is a gifted RMT. He cares about his clients and it shows. I was suffering from insomnia and anxiety, mainly from work, but also from stress that had accumulated to the point where my body could hardly handle any. Long story short, I tried one acupuncturist before finding China Acupuncture Clinic. It did improve my condition, but I soon fell back to the bad routine again with having hard time sleeping and anxiety. I googled on the internet and found another acupuncture clinic, which coincidentally located in the same building. Browsing the website and reading about the backgrounds of the acupuncturists there, I felt something authentic about them and decided to make an appointment. Dr May is such a lovely woman. Every time I visited, she listened to my conditions carefully, touched and diagnosed my body and identified specific problems. Although the main issue was insomnia, my autonomic imbalance resulted from many factors, including stiff shoulders and back, liver function and etc; the issue was not simple. Every single treatment was different and unique. May applied different techniques, and needles were placed at different points - every time - depending on the specific condition. The way she treated was very different from the other acupuncturist that I had visited. Slowly but steadily, my condition kept getting better after a number of treatments. By now, I realize a significant improvement since the beginning. May and her team of acupuncturists are all knowledgeable, skilled and experienced. They are trustworthy and reliable.
