Tried this place after living nearby for so long, and I wasn't disappointed. It's tough to find a good RMT who has the right amount of strength and skill to treat neck & back pain. Neck issues are especially tricky, as working in an office environment can really stiffen up your back and neck since you're in the same position for a long time. Susanna is great at her craft, as I found I was able to finally have some relief and get my range of motion back. Will be going back here as long as I need to. The main con is some RMTs get booked up very fast, or their availability is limited, so you either have to book months in advance or take a day off to be able to get an appointment. Parking is a bit tricky here too, as it's in Kits and there's only side-street parking, which is full most of the time. read more

I've been going here for about 5 months now. Karmyn is simply amazing. I really like that she does a very deep massage. Yes it can be painful when she finds a knot, but you leave feeling so relaxed. The next day you feel like you survived a street fight but I take it as a sign that she really worked the muscles, and my back is recovering to a proper muscle alignment. She is always on time, very efficient, and always very professional. She also listens to what areas have bothered you since you last saw her and adjusts her approach. read more

The massage I had was ok. The location is noisy due to the traffic outside on 4th ave. But what really bothered me was the unprofessionalism from some of the therapists here. Miscommunication about booked online appointments led to me unfortunately missing appointments and being charged the full amount. I won't be returning here. read more

Been going consistently for 2 months now. I see Susanna Meuling - highly recommend! All therapists work independently and rent a space there. The setting is a little dated but does the job, it is clean and simple. Susanna is approachable and understanding, intuitive and strong hands; and is experienced in active and hard working bodies. Only downside is that they only take cash or credit, no debit. read more

This clinic is quite nice and very clean. Appointments made easily online. My therapist was great and she listened to my needs and adjusted pressure when necessary. The price is $100 for an hour which is pretty standard. I've been twice now and have no complaints. I will try more therapists in the future to see how they are as well. read more

i went here for a 1/2 hour massage after my back had been acting up from skiing and biking. The staff are very friendly and professional, and the masseuse who worked on me did an excellent job. even though i was the last client of the day, she worked hard on my back and didn't rush any of the treatment. my back feels a whole lot better than it did this morning. i would recommend these guys to anyone. read more

I've decided to return after not going for a long time. I'm lazy and just like the car mechanic, I go for massage when i'm in pain (go to the garage when the car starts to make weird noises) :) I always have the same therapist, Coleen, and she's great. She's been a massage therapist for 17 years and it shows. The personnel is very professional and courteous, the place is warm and welcoming. I lived in Kitsilano for two years and even if I moved away from that area, I really don't mind commuting to go back. The prices are "reasonable" if you compare to other places, even though massage therapy in Vancouver is very expensive. I wouldn't go if it wasn't great. Thumbs up! read more

I have been coming here for ten months now since I've had my car accident. I was having major back and shoulder problems after my accident and found this clinic on Yelp. I must say, I'm really glad I found this place. Marcia has been my RMT since day one and has really helped me progress through my injury. She is caring and attentive and really cares about my recovery. We go through a short consultation at the beginning of each visit to ensure she knows which areas may require more attention. I always feel better after each visit. She's really helped me to get to a better place with my injury. The clinic is small but very clean and professional. I showed up for my first appointment at 7:45 am to a locked door and no RMT. When I was able to reach the receptionist she advised me she would page my RMT and had me wait outside on the street until I called back 15 minutes later and re-explained the situation to a different receptionist. The owner was put on the line and explained all RMTs are independently contracted and that she was unable to help in any way aside from continuing to call him. She was genuinely apologetic but not able to provide any solutions. I left and am still waiting for any of them to contact me. read more

I really wanted to like this place, because the location is close, and I need massage therapy occasionally for recurring back problems. However, I had a really underwhelming first appointment. The massage therapist (whom I won't name) barely asked me any questions about my pain condition, the massage felt weak and superficial, it didn't provide relief to the problem areas, and I didn't get any advice or consultation about what I could do at home. My previous RMTs would always suggest specific stretches, check on my stretching technique, and follow up with modifications. This time, I was just politely given the bill and shown the door. Compared with every other appointment I've had at other places in the past, the experience felt less professional, and the lack of a receptionist and direct-billing added to that impression. The actual appointment was also made worse by the fact that I found the massage therapist's attitude off-putting (polite, but clipped and very disinterested). I was uncomfortable within minutes, even before the massage began, but when I said that I would like to cancel and come back another day (i.e. rebook with someone else), she pointedly told me that I would be costing her a session that could have gone to another client, and she acted displeased for the rest of the appointment. Her point was valid and clearly stated in their cancellation policy, but it's also a poor way to pressure a new client into staying, particularly when it comes to working directly with a person's body. It just made my muscles more tense for the entire session. I can't figure out how much of my experience reflected just the one therapist and how much reflects a wider culture of this clinic, so I'm hesitant to try this clinic again, because I have limited benefits and I really need every appointment. read more

I was treated to going to this wonderful warm place. Coleen was my masseuse and she really takes care of her company that come through the door. She is a very warm hearted person and her energy is brought through in her therapy. I live in calgary but i plan on spending some time here. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in vancouver. read more
