Beware of misrepresentation on services & price at Queen's Feet 1288 Granville street. Went to this Queen's feet on Granville first time for foot reflexology. I have had many foot massages in my past but never at this place. I phoned and booked an appt. for 3pm - they quoted me $58 for 50 minutes for foot reflexology - good price. As I walked there, I live close by, I realized I was 15 minutes early 2:45--and that was when I was half a block away I saw my watch---they took me in set me up in the back area. It had a slight funky smell I couldn't quite place but comfortable recliner vinyl chairs with nice, dark lighting. They brought me black tea which I don't drink -- I said I'd do Green tea though? No, they don't have that and then they brought me water--water is good. I tell you all this because time is ticking by... I took off shoes and socks they brought foot bath as per norm had me turn around and move to the ottoman and the woman started to rub my shoulders--it was nice but I was there for my feet. Places often do this though to start as a complimentary service as your feet soak. That done, I moved back to the chair while she took the tub away I looked at my watch and it was 2:58 pm. She returned and thankfully moved onto my foot reflexology--it was a nice massage but not the best -- wasn't bad, kinda' just ok, but the woman was nice and friendly. Then very quickly it was over she got a hot towel to clean the oil off my feet and I looked at my watch and it was 3:34pm---whaaa? This was supposed to be a 50 minute massage for $58. So I said that it was not long enough--the very nice masseuse said 'oh the shoulder rub was part of it and the foot soak.' I noted I did not ask for a shoulder rub--I wanted a foot massage--she then had to talk with 'her boss' who proceeded to arrive and argue with me ruining any relaxation I had previously achieved saying basically -- 'too bad that was what they did there'. Now if I had wanted a combination massage I would have booked a combination massage, they have that available too for purchase---I wanted simply a 50 min foot massage--but now I just wanted to leave! What they should have done is just add another minimum 10 minutes as it was pretty obviously a lean service. I had said what time it was when the foot massage begun--not to mention what time I had actually arrived thru the front door---so it should have at least gone on for another 13 minutes. I had had enough arguing I put my shoes on as the 'boss' angily left the back area. I still gave my masseuse a $10 cash tip--was not her fault for the nastiness of her boss and their ridiculous policy. The nasty 'boss' was conveniently on the phone when I went up to pay. So I paid $60.90 (+$10 tip) for a nice but not great 36 minute foot massage--with a side helping of stress afterwards from the mean, non customer service friendly 'boss'. I wish I had asked if she was the owner? I write this to let others know what they may experience, and be forewarned of their practises as well as if this 'boss' does not own the establishment - the one who does own it knows what is actually going on there. I was the only customer there for the duration---which now makes a lot of sense. read more

I loved this massage place and would come here all the time if I lived in Vancouver. I stopped by for a pre-race massage (50 minutes full-body) and experienced a relaxing and stress-relieving experience (literally could feel tension leaving my body) that I would gladly pay for again and again. There was no wait on a Friday afternoon, and Queen's Feet is located conveniently downtown near a lot of shops and businesses. Easily accessible by bus, train, or walking, depending on where you're coming from, and they also accept credit cards. Everyone working is friendly and my masseuse was great. I rarely go massage parlors but I figure it would be nice to visit these since I do have back problems. The full body massage for an hour cost $68 (tax and tip included). I thought it was funny that this is the only place I found on Yelp that offers a free "glass of water" just for checking in. You know, those things that you get for free if you visited any restaurant. What's nice was that the water was actually one bottle water. I would say that 80% of the massage was nice and normal while 20% of it hurt and was uncomfortable. read more

I'm an Acupuncturist and know my body work. My experience her was fantastic, I called and could get in right away, it's within walking distance from my hotel. I got the 100 minute foot and body combo, started with the feet in a nice hot water soak and a shoulder rub in the recliner lounge area. They gave me some hot tea and a piece of chocolate. Cleaning and massaging feet and legs with a towel, then again with oil and another clean off of the legs and feet. Next to a private room for another full body massage with oil and a hot towel whip down! So yummy I felt brand new. Great Tui Na and nice hot qi hands, mahalo nui loa! Treat your feet and treat yourself. Have come here a few times and always get a good foot massage. It all felt especially great after doing the Seawheeze earlier this morning. They take walk ins but you can also call ahead and schedule an apt. They seem to also offer full body massages but have not done that before. Have only done the foot massages. First time I came got a massage in the back room with about 5 others. Today they are busy so they have us up front by the entrance. It works though the front is a bit more ripe with disturbance. People come in or call and you get to hear all the interactions. The massage starts with soaking your feet in soothing hot water. After a few mins they start working the legs. Then the feet. It's all deep work. While it's happening they also offer tea or water to drink when it's happening. Enjoy. read more

Came here on a Sunday noon. I called in at 11 am and they had availability for 4 people. Did the foot reflexology for $40 Canadian dollars, not including tip (make sure to give tip to your masseuse). Experience: our masseuse did a phenomenal deep tissue massage to our shoulders and legs. It has been the best massage place I have been to in comparison with other affordable asian massage places. I wish we find something like this back home. All 4 of us give it a 5 star. It is just what you need after walking for hours the day before and stiff muscles on your neck and shoulder. Feet fee like a million bucks. Price: definitely unbeatable. I would go again. Make sure to tip well as they work hard. Location: easy to find and has meter street parking. Been coming here for couple years. All the good therapists have left. Something has changed. Perhaps the curmudgeonly non-responsive owner who sits at the front is underpaying and treating is staff like crap? He certainly treats customers like crap. I complained of 2 bad massage therapists in a row and he did nothing. Just a ok, nod and looked away. Lately I've been getting people who literally use no force to massage or they grind their elbow into your spine and bone for the entire treatment. Somebody needs to educate these massage school dropouts. I've given up complaining to the owner as his face is always showing "pay and shut up." I also love how he is always reminding customers to leave a tip. Anytime businesses start enforcing tips that means staff are being underpaid. Hope you get a good massage. $150 cash for a foot rub and a body rub. 45 minutes each by Tony. His foot rub was ok but the backrub- worst I have ever had in my life. I have been going to their Burrard location until it burnt down and then they moved to Granville Street. As you might know it was recently sold and all of their great staff, left. Love this place! I think it's resurrected from the Queens Feet that used to be on Burrard, but this one is 10x better! I especially love the back/ shoulder rubs before the foot massage (they really get in there) and that they don't use plastic gloves like some other foot massage places in the city. I will be back! I found them to be inexpensive, $45. for a high quality intense chair massage, with my therapist Ken was a fantastic value. It was Friday night and as I really don't like making appointments, I was a walk in. I live in the area and this place has been here for a long time. It was a busy night yet I was able to get in right away. This place has a good name and I can see why. I found the people to be kind and professional in their demeanor. The massage was "AWESOME" with out a doubt, I will be back on a regular basis. I believe that all their therapist would have the same standards and work ethics. I was looking to have foot reflexology in the Yaletown area and I came across this one. I didn't have to make an appointment and they were able to take me in. I was lucky enough to have Jack to do my reflexology. If you like deep pressure, then go see Jack! He gave me a shoulder massage at first. And he was able to release the tension in my traps and neck! As for the foot massage, Jack was phenomenal! Just the right amount of pressure to the feet, calves and shins. I left that place happy, relaxed and it felt like I was walking on clouds! Just tried this new place by my building. It's nothing too fancy but the people are friendly and the services are very good. They have great prices.... I got a 55 minute foot massage AND a 50 minute chair massage for $80. I especially like that they're open until 11pm. Nice place to go before bedtime.
