I've been coming to Sabai Thai Spa in Metrotown for several years now, and it never disappoints. I had a wonderful 80 min (!) massage with Palm -- her hands are truly wonderful, and I always leave feeling completely relaxed. The atmosphere is so calming, and they always offer a nice tea to complete the experience. I'll keep coming back again and again, and I highly recommend this spa to anyone. They have a great massage promo going on now! read more

I wasn't sure which person to book with so I called instead to book and told them that I needed someone who could do deep pressure. They recommended me Akiko. She did a really good job and was very consistent with pressure. I chose the 80 min Flow and Glow Spa Package. I was so relaxed I fell asleep during the facial. My skin feels amazing and the tension in my body is gone. Thank you! I will be coming back. read more

Came here with my sister in law for a relaxing girls spa day. We indulged in the 80 minute true wellness spa package. I have never had a Thai massage before. My therapist Linee was amazing. She was gentle yet firm and got out all my tough spots. My sisters therapist was Smile and she loved it as well. We both left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend 10/10 5***** A+++ read more

My husband and I went for a birthday and after work relaxing treat. I was worried that it will only be traditional Thai massage but they had great deep tissue massage for additional charge. We happened to go for a discounted package during the Mother's Day weekend and got a 90 minute massage and facial package for half its usual price (usually $229 and this time $150) My masseuse was very thoughtful and respectful read more

From the first step in at Sabai Thai Spa's Metrotown location there was a sense of familiarity from the wonderful greetings at the door through to the treatment and the we will look forward to serving you again. Having been at the Coal Harbour location to the New Westminster one, it was identical of a sensation. Courteous Staff guiding each step, explaining the treatment plan that was selected. Today's masseuse was Yiu..whom provided the treatment for the Pure Serenity Spa package that was at 50% off and with her expertise, one nearly fell asleep at her hands..fluid in motion and before one knew it, the 90 minutes was completed. Today was a treat that has been long deserved. Metrotown's location is a replica of each of Sabai's other locations, clean, serene and professional.. pampered to the full extent of almost like being back in Thailand. For anyone that is wanting or deserving of a break from the Stressors of life, I highly recommend you book as Sabai Thai Spa is a treat worthy of Royalty. read more

Wonderful, relaxing experience. I had the pleasure of having a 60 minute massage with Nattha yesterday. It's been a rough year and self care schedules dropped off a while ago! So I was skeptical when I called for a same day appointment, but lucky for me. They were able to accommodate my schedule for a much needed massage within 15 minutes of me calling!!! I was so grateful for this accommodation, thank you Nattha and staff at the Metrotown Saba Thai! Nattha used her body weight, hands, fingers, and forearms to relax my neck, shoulders, thighs and back where it needed knots to be worked out. They also have bundle packages that are good for 2 years which I may look into for myself, or for gifting: Thank you! read more

Had such a lovely experience in the Metrotown location Sabai Thai! Staff were very friendly upon arrival and was all ready to take us in. We had a bonding bliss package that includes a massage from head to toe and facial! Massage was very nice and relaxing and they know all the spots. After the massage you are offered a water or tea and enjoy the wait area before you leave. They also have a couple to share of you like. Ocean a fantastic experience and will come back again! read more

Another amazing experience. Had a 75 min fusion massage with Palm today. She was amazing. Left feeling so relaxed.

Nice ambience and friendly staff. Love to come back. They're so good at making you feel better and what's your main concern and they will address that. read more

My husband treated us for a massage and facial combo for Mother's Day. The space is very well decorated and quite modern and beautiful. The check in service was quick, but the waiting area is right in the front. The spa is very large with lots of rooms. We're we're immediately taken to a couples room, where we spoke with our practitioners. Once they left we entered the beds which were very comfortable. The service was not great. It was a lot of oil and the massage was quite light even though I asked for medium pressure. The facial was not really a facial. They applied a cleanser and wiped it off. I think a face cream may have been applied but not too sure. It was less than 5 minutes. For the price is was not worth it. For a lot less I could have seen my regular RMT and had a good massage. Would not recommend the massage and facial combo. Perhaps the Thai massage or other services are more comprehensive. read more

Outstanding first experience!! Look forward to many more visits. The best massage I've ever had.

This was amazing!!!! I felt so relaxed. At the end, all my muscle tensions were gone. I was feeling very zen. Rachel was amazing.

I had reiceved a gift card for my birthday and was excited to get my massage but it was probably one of the worst massages I've ever received. The spa was spacious looked clean until I had to put my face in the hole and where you lay on your stomach of the massage bed. It had a dingey odour which was off putting. On top of that my massage wasn't pleasant at all. The masseuse kept reapplying oil (smelled like cooking oil) to my body. Her massage felt more like rubbing and less massaging. Lots of very uncomfortable rubbing with tons of friction. She applied so much oil to my body that I was still drenched in it when she wiped it off with a hot towel. I felt really gross and greasy. It took me two showers to get the grease off at home. I also really disliked that they will touch your feet and touch every other part of your body including your face without washing their hands. The scalp massage was awful. She used her nails on my dry scalp and just basically kept scratching and tugging. The facial wasn't even a facial she just put cleanser and wiped it off with cotton pads. I basically left with a headache, achy and greasy after the experience. Tbh I don't think she knew what she was doing. read more

If you want a couple's massage, Metrotown is one of the locations that offers it! My husband and I got the wellness spa package, which started with us choosing our own aromatherapy oils and ended with a cup of hot ginger tea. Our therapists were Shoko and Dar, and we think they did a fabulous job! The pressure was just right. But I have to be honest, some of the stretches were a bit painful . But I'm sure it's just cuz I'm not flexible enough haha. Overall great experience! read more

Janice was really good in doing the massage and facial. I will definitely come back. Thank you

My first time here and it was so relaxing. They have a lot of treatment rooms and I was able to make an appointment on the same day. I will definitely be back. Their waiting room however needs a better set up so that you can relax afterwards but they seem to be limited on spacing options read more

Sabai Thai Spa - Front desk - Day Spas Near Me - Burnaby, British Columbia

Welcoming and comfortable environment with soothing scent. Friendly receptionists and masseuse. Unfortunately, the Thai massage experience was unimpressive. I had a session with Janice. She was talkative. The technique was very uncomfortable. It was in quick elbows/ knuckles vibration motion through out the body instead of regular Thai massage techniques. The masseuse did not focus on targeted area properly, and spent a lot of time on areas that were asked not to be touched. I've heard a lot of good about Sabai Thai and was very excited to give it a try for the first time. Sadly I left with no relaxation, more soreness to the muscles, and new bruises. read more
