While on a trip to Myrtle Beach we stopped by to try out their most challenging room, since there was a big group of us. I had an absolute blast! They didn't rush to give us any hints, and when we did ask for one, they pointed out what we had already noticed and found to look at again, instead of giving away the answer. The puzzles were challenging without being impossible. We were able to make it out, and I can't wait to go back again to try out another room next time we're in Myrtle. read more

We never participated in this new firm of entertainment called "break out rooms". This one is off the main drag of North Myrtle Beach. There is street parking (which can be tough to find) and believe there is more behind the building. We were invited to join in to try it out. A few of the other couples had done them before. Which is good since they have an idea of the games strategy. There are different themes you can choose which adds mystery and fun. We went into the chainsaw serial killer room in which we had to get to the chainsaw in the 1 hour allotted time to beat the killer. You go into a room and search for clues, keys and other items needed to open various locks and doors. There are puzzles and challenges to solve to get the next clue and get into other rooms. We were able to solve all the puzzles and won the challenge with ten minutes to spare. The break out room was fun and we will like to do one of the other challenges offered. read more

What a gem in the heart of North Myrtle! This place is easy to overlook from the outside, but don't make that mistake! While there is the possibility you will be grouped with strangers, we were lucky enough to have the room to ourselves. We did The Curse of Volcano Island and it was well done from start to finish. The walkie-talkie was an interesting dynamic for communication with the Game Master, but kind of felt appropriate on a deserted island. The rooms were very well decorated and fun to figure out. I liked the combination of riddles and physical puzzles in each room, and they flowed very cohesively, giving us our ultimate mission in a way that felt immersive to the atmosphere. Lots of love was put into this local room, and it was done with quality and attention to detail. As frequent visitors to North Myrtle, we will definitely be back to try other rooms! read more

Loved this experience! There were 6 of us 53-14 years of age. Everyone needed to be doing something at all times so for us it was great! This was our 3rd time doing a room (in different states). My family & I booked an escape room on our vacation. We did the cannibal collector room. It was well put together & such a great room. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy it because it was not set up correctly. We wasted SO much time because no one was watching us & we had no idea the room wasn't working correctly. Once we asked for a clue they finally came in and "fixed" the issue for us. Turns out, it was a fault on their end. There was no good solution given to us. They powered off the room to reset it & our time clock was gone. This was a waste of time & money for us. Not happy with the customer service. read more

Stopped by on a rainy Friday afternoon. The place offers several escape scenarios. We chose the pirate adventure. The difficulty was at just the right level for our group. We had an 11 year old, a 9 year old and an 8 year old. We finished the puzzle with just a few minutes to spare. A great way to spend a rainy day. read more

What a wonderful experience here with my family. We did the serial killer room and escaped with 5 minutes to spare. It was very challenging. This was my first multi-room escape. I liked that you could use some items in the previous rooms to gain access to the next room. The staff was friendly and my entire family ranted and raved about the good time they had. I've been to this break out place many times and had great experiences barely making it out in time every time. We tried one of their new rooms the "cannibal collector" and we broke out in 29 minutes and paid $210 for it. Needless to say we were disappointed in the difficulty level and felt it was too easy with this specific room. It would be great for young inexperienced children but not for the older crowd with experience. I rate this room 2 stars but the overall establishment is a 5. read more

I've played some of the phone escape room games and have loved them. The creativity, the frustration...they're great. I've been really wanting to do an in-person one and it's never quite come together for me despite the fact that there's one in my town. So I was beyond excited when my husband booked us for the one in Myrtle Beach. Two weeks ago we went down to MB. We could tell ahead of time that we'd be with four others in the Serial Killer room and were hoping for good company. We ended up turning a double-date into a triple date (hopefully they didn't mind!) and it was SO much fun. That hour goes incredibly quickly when you see that clock ticking down. We lost, but luckily the serial killer was "running late" so we got to finish. Fast forward to today and my husband surprised me with a second adventure. We were on our own in the pirate room this time. I found it much harder with just the two of us, but it was still so much fun and I can't wait to do it again. Even though we lost. Again. Both experiences were full of surprises and clever clues. The staff (possibly the owners?) are SO nice and friendly and have really set up a great place. This was such a fun experience! Don't question doing this, just go! We tried Break-Out out while on vacation because it seemed like a unique experience. The owner was extremely welcoming and explained what to expect in the rooms.. But made sure not to give too much information away. We were grouped with 4 younger girls and surprisingly the age gap between us and them did not impact working as a team. Looking back on it, I really love how each one of us played an important role in the group. At first I thought this might be a little on the "cheesy" side, but I was totally wrong. So if you're looking for something different and fun to do on Myrtle Beach then definately come check this place out! read more

My family and I had the best time! We were able to rent out the whole room due to the fact we were traveling with a 15 month old. We took part in the CSI senario which exciting and invigorating! (not at all scary for younger kids). The staff was friendly, funny, personal, and very helpful when we (unfortunately) struggled and needed some clues.
