Fun in the mirror maze!
James S.

Had a good time going through here with my 5-year old. Maybe a little expensive for the experience but I wanted to do this with him so it was no issue. Definitely took us a little while to get out but it felt shorter than I expected. I think they know that so when you get to the end you turn around and do it in reverse, which is harder than it sounds. I was hoping there was a little more to this but if you're looking for a way to kill 15-20 mins with the kids, this isn't bad.

OK...I am absolutely not a mirror maze expert. That's important to note. Having said that, I'd guess this to be a good entry / first attempt mirror maze. Lighting was fun, music was repetitive, and the design was pretty basic. That said, it was definitely enjoyable. Perks: -You can complete it in 10-15 minutes. -Admission is unlimited w/ your wristband (clerk said it could actually be over more than one day...they don't care as long as you have the band). -The a/c is pretty good. :) Cons: -Kind of basic. -Maybe $15/head is too much unless you really plan on returning a few times over the course of a week. For fun, be sure to use the 3d-ish glasses...totally disorienting And if you have the SaveAround coupon book, there is a BOGO in the app.

We did this yesterday while visiting Broadway at the Beach. It was a lot of fun. We have done a number of mirror mazes at different places, and this one was by far the best. It took us nearly thirty minutes to complete it, which is much better than the last one we did in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee that took maybe five minutes. It was very confusing, and the lights only added to the dramatic panicky feeling we got trying to find our way through it. Be sure to hold your hands out in front of you, or else you will run nose first into a mirror (like I did once a few years ago). The staff was very friendly and helpful. It didn't cost that much, because we added the Mirror Maze to the Escape Game in the same building. Plus, once you get the wrist band for the Mirror Maze, you can go back through as many times as you want for free (even if you leave and come back, as long as it's the same day). If you are visiting Broadway at the Beach, I highly recommend stopping in at Backstage Mirror Maze for a half hour or so break from shopping and browsing.

It is fun but it's expensive for such a short amount of time. They provide gloves so you don't smudge (appreciated) and glasses to make it harder (which pretty much make you blind so I ended up not using mine). You can take a peek for free and you can just see mirror upon mirror. Going in is pretty crazy but once you get your bearings it's pretty easy to figure out how to get out. I'd say you could be in there a maximum of 15 minutes. They give you bands that you can use multiple times in your trip but I can't imagine why I'd want to do this again and again. It was fun for something to do but I can think of better ways to spend $15 a person. Its RIPleys...Can be fun but often a RIP-off.

Good, cheap fun. The price is a bit much for what you get, but you do have a 24 hour pass. So it's interesting just to come back later in the day just to try again. There isn't much here, it's just what it says a maze of mirrors. Once you actually figure it out the space itself is pretty small. They provide you with gloves so you don't smudge the mirrors. There's also lights flickering on and off inside, and the first time we went through we swore something would pop out at us. Spoiler -- nothing pops out at you.

Laser maze game

Though the maze itself isn't that big but it took a good amount of time for us to get through each time even with the size of the maze! The approx. $13 dollar fee per person provides unlimited amount of re-entry so you can go as many time as you like, doing different challenges such as compete by time or by group. They also provides you with gloves so you don't smudge the mirrors and glasses to make it even harder to get through the maze. The lights inside the maze changes so it disorients you and makes it even harder to get a sense of directions, which is awesome! We had to stick our hands out the entire time to make sure that we won't run into the mirrors. There were those little kids who made it seem so easy while we were trying to run around and keep running into dead ends. We went through the maze a good 2 times. It was fun. IIf you check in through yelp, you will get a free laser maze game which is a definite try! You will get a feel of how it feels like to be a spy and try not to touch the laser lines, which i failed miserably wearing a flowy shirt... Regularly the laser maze is $4 a pop for 3 tries and the game offers different difficulty levels ranging from easy to expert.

Maze was excellent. Big tip: DONT RUN. I only tripped and fell once. I got lost for 5 minutes but my mom found me in the back.

It's ok. My 6 & 7 year olds were entertained, but not so much for adults, especially for $12 a person.

Does the mirror maze have stroke lights?

No, but the lights blink a few times on and off and change colors.

My husband bought the package with two tries in the laser maze but we split the package between us and each had one try against the lazers.

We bought the all day bands for the big kids and points by points for the 2 lil ones. Not much they can ride. Prices were reasonable but even more if you use group on . The park was clean and FINALLY an amusement park playing great music and not that rap crap. Food was very good and OMG they serve alcohol. Russel on that Spider-Man ride was funny. Nancy on the choo choo antique cars was friendly and Lisa on hot air balloon ride gets an At dealing with my ver stubborn 4 yr old. She took the time to ensure my lil one it's a fun not scary ride. Now this is what I would call a super fun kinda sketchy park with an amazing roller coaster!…read more So parking is kinda whack and expensive around here but I managed to find a spot on the street that was about half the price so see if you can get lucky it will save you some cash! So entering the park I came through an alley way into the park and I was kinda like ok but hey it worked so I went straight to the ticket kiosk to get some to ride The Swamp Fox so they do let you buy individual tickets but if you use your credit card there is a surcharge fee as well as a $2 activation fee for the amusement card so keep that in mind! So after one ride on the swamp Fox I knew I had to get one more as it was just a solid fun wooden coaster that was very smooth and totally good from start to finish perfect for all ages! Across the park they had various other rides but none of them really made me want to ride them other than Swamp Fox. Overall it was a good time and worth the trip here to ride it so if your a coaster junky add it to your list if not and your in the area totally ride it because it's a lot of fun!

Wonder Works is great for a first date or even a fun family outing. 1st Floor includes the lobby, gift shop, Wonder Cafe, Hurricane Shack, Xtreme 360 Bikes, Physical Challenge Zone, and party room. 2nd Floor includes Laser Tag. If you have a little child, you may be able to take turns and go in different heats. 3rd Floor includes the wall of illusions, XD Theater, draw alive, Wonder Coaster, Bed of Nails, Bubble Lab, and STEM Room. 4th Floor includes space discovery, ropes course, arcade games that you purchase to play, art of Dr Seuss, Imagination Lab, and Interactive Sandbox. My favorite was the digital Wonder Coaster. It is an indoor ride that follows along a video of a roller coaster flipping you and spinning you like the real thing. I recommend wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing so you are able to ride majority of the attractions inside. You can also add on the Wonder Works casebook and slice different riddles as you explore the four levels.

It's a fun spot for kids, but as an adult, I wouldn't feel the need to go back. It can get pretty crowded, so I'd recommend going early on a weekday instead of the weekend if you can. A few of the exhibits weren't working during my visit, which was a little disappointing. While it's entertaining, I do think the price is a bit high--around $35 per person would feel more reasonable than $40. Overall, it's a decent way to spend some time, especially for families, but not something I'd go out of my way to do again.

The price point is not bad for all they offer in fun. Everything from a wave pool, surf tide pool, lazy river and water slides for all ages! Not to mention the lockers and gift shop to pick up anything you feel you need during your visits from bathing suits to towels to flip flops or water shoes. We rode the big enclosed water slides first and it was intense! The "toilet bowl" slide was fun and entertaining g if you wish to ride single or double tubes. Plenty of places to choose from for a icee, cold drink or food including alcohol for adults. Only knock is the bath and changing rooms. When we went on Monday the flow rider ride was closed due to maintenance. Not all of the slides in each area were operating. The wave pool was okay but nothing crazy about it. The lazy river is lazy in design for sure there's no extra anything asking it. No waterfall, sprinklers or nothing so in the heat it is super hot and pure sun. Bathrooms were dirty. Please please please take water shoes or some crocs or something to walk around in on a sunny day bc you will burn your feet.

This one was a refreshing break from mini golf and arcades and fun for both kids and adults. We had a pretty large group and some did the zip line course and some braved the adventure park (aka ropes course). We had lots and lots of fun, overcame some anxiety, and had a few sore muscles to show off our achievements. I also owe a big shout out to George, who was amazingly patient with my crew and helped coordinate the outing so that we all started/finished around the same times.
