This place has a lot of interactive and fun exhibits for kids. I would gear it towards 10 and up though. Theres a few things for younger kids like the bubble station and a few others but to make it worth $30 I wouldnt go unless you kids meet the height requirement for all the attractions. Thankfully kids 4 and under are free admission but honestly if you have older and younger kids the younger ones are going to get bored. Also a lot of the attractions didnt work exactly as described or were not clean. They had an arcade near the ropes course for people waiting but it was pay per play which I wasn't going to do after paying $130 for my family to enter. My priority was getting the children away from him and making sure they felt safe, but this incident has stayed with them and with me. A business that allows an adult employee to speak to children in a sexual way is not a safe environment, and parents and caregivers deserve to know this before bringing their kids here. I will not be returning, and I urge other families to take this experience seriously when deciding where to spend their time and money. If you have a little child, you may be able to take turns and go in different heats. 3rd Floor includes the wall of illusions, XD Theater, draw alive, Wonder Coaster, Bed of Nails, Bubble Lab, and STEM Room. 4th Floor includes space discovery, ropes course, arcade games that you purchase to play, art of Dr Seuss, Imagination Lab, and Interactive Sandbox. My favorite was the digital Wonder Coaster. It is an indoor ride that follows along a video of a roller coaster flipping you and spinning you like the real thing. I recommend wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing so you are able to ride majority of the attractions inside. Is it expensive? Sure. Do you at least get your money's worth? I'd say yes. Especially with younger kids. We arrived around 10am and didn't leave until after 2pm. The big hits with our kids were (not official names): roller coaster simulator, "6d" motion simulator (not really 6d but whatever), laser tag!, rope course, and the various 1st floor activities. While it's entertaining, I do think the price is a bit high--around $35 per person would feel more reasonable than $40. We stopped in to kill some time while waiting on our airbrushed t-shirts to be finished and ended up staying longer than expected. It was the perfect mix of entertainment and education for our crew: Lolo (9), Suri (4), and Sadie (almost 2). Bonus points: kids 3 and under are free, and the whole place is blessedly air-conditioned. The upside-down exterior immediately got the kids hyped, and inside was a full-blown sensory overload--in the best way. From virtual sports and glow-in-the-dark ropes courses to bubble labs and hurricane simulators, it felt like every corner had something new to poke, spin, or climb on. It was loud. It was chaotic. It was kind of perfect. The only downside? It's a tourist trap and it's not cheap--especially with a bigger family--but compared to other attractions in the area, it feels more "worth it" for the amount of stuff you can do under one roof. I really wasn't sure what to expect. I kind of assumed it was like a science museum which is exactly what I felt There are multiple floors that have all sorts of activities on them and I will say they are pretty hands on. We love The Titanic exhibit as well as the sports. The only thing about the sports is it takes a while because it's only one person at a time. We did the hurricane winds which didn't feel as bad as I thought. We didn't really do any of the rides because my kids aren't into those. They really loved The bubble lab and being able to go inside the bubbles. I loved all the interactive pieces and they really loved laser tag, especially the guy who worked there who was beyond friendly and very nice to both of my kids and my mom who didn't play. WonderWorks is really cool. We took the family to visit and they had tons of interesting things to play with. I work my glow-in-the-dark Nikola Tesla t-shirt that my daughter bought for me. In some sections of WonderWorks, there are black lights and my t-shirt illuminated nicely. There was a picture of Nikola Tesla, so I had my daughter take a picture of me with that picture. We visited the 6-D movie theater, which was pretty sweet. We threw baseballs at a screen to digitally strike out batters, while radar measured how fast we threw. We tried to decipher codes, we played with sand, read stuff, and generally had a good time. We probably spend 1.5 hours here and it was well worth it on a busy day in Myrtle Beach. read more

We went here in a Thursday's afternoon. This place is located at Broadway at the beach. There is plenty of parking. The tickets were $32 person. We spent about two hours exploring. When you walk in they take your picture and have a few options to pick from later. As you walk around they have many interactive items you can play with as you walk along the museum. There were about 3 floors to go through. They had a bunch of interactive stuff to do. And when we went it was so quite there was only a few people in there. We were able to see everything and take our time to read, and explore the items at the exhibit. They had exhibits from titanic facts, to throwing football, baseball, playing electronic twister. They had rides you can explore. They had a bike ride that turned you upside down if you pedaled fast enough which was cool. They had a 6D ride that was cool they put you in the ride and lock you in and it's a digital roller coaster ride. This was a lot of fun and even my 6'3 boyfriend was able to ride it with me. These rides do have a height and weight restriction on them. They also have a 3D ride when they show you a 5 min little movie and the seats move and wind blows. Since it was slow in there we were able to see all 5-6 of the movies. You put in the 3D glasses and buckle up and hold on the the side of your seat. It was nice. Some of the movies were riding through the wall of China on a bike. They had some for kids where a little boy was riding his jet pack to school and you got a flying affect it was cool. As you walk through the exhibit they have hand sanitizer all around and you will need it bc everything in here you touch. The staff was doing a great job of wiping everything down. But I can just imagine how it would be on a busy day with a bunch of people running thorough that place. I would say get here early so you can experience everyone without it being so crazy. Since it was slow we were able to try everything and take our time to enjoy it. This place even had a small arcade, laser tag and a rope course at the end for people to play. They even had some little stuff for kids like maybe 4yrs and under to play with. One thing I thought was cool was they had a digital air hockey game. I hadn't seen that and thought it was cool plus you don't have to worry about having a flying puck going every wear. This place is cool for adults and children to explore they have a little bit of everything for someone. If you like to try new things and have fun doing it this is a place to check out. read more

All of the exhibits are interactive and capture the attention of kids and adults alike. We did have to wait for about 20-30 minutes initially to get into the building. We easily could have spent another couple of hours there as I am sure there were some exhibits that we missed. It has something for kids of all ages. My 3 year old loved it. As its description states, it is very interactive. It has 3 levels packed with interactive exhibits. The first level has a few adventure rides and a hurricane simulator. The second level has a bubble station, a walk-on piano, a dance room and a bed of nails the you can lay on. The third level has a ropes course (extra fee), a space exhibit, a toddler area and video games. We spent about 2 hours in there. You are able to reenter the museum on the same ticket the entire day with a stamp on your hand. My favorite exhibits were the mock hurricane, the bed of nails, the dance cam and the toddler area. They have military discount and I am sure you can occasionally find a Groupon deal. I recommend finding a deal before you go. read more

This place is very very very cool and fun for all ages. We had ages from baby to grandparents and all said it was a great time! I will say my one complaint is they stuff this place wall to wall. It's hard to enjoy some of the more popular exhibits like the simulator rides, ropes course,bubbles and titanic section when it's this busy. But I can't complain to much because it really is a fun place. The bubble area is amazing! You can make super large bubbles that you can even fit inside. Had so much fun here, stayed over three hours and could have stayed longer. I'm an adult sans kids and found lots to entertain myself. Note that my excellent experience was in part due to the fact that it was fairly empty, no lines at all (Sunday afternoon in high season on a beautiful, sunny (but hoomid) day. Based on the signs in the space, I think they get incredibly crowded, especially on rainy days, so keep that in mind. I would have had a lot less fun if I had to wait to access every activity (There were signs showing that the wait from x would be one hour for laser tag as an example). The entrance fee includes several rides that would cost $5 to $10 or more at an amusement park, so it's quite good value if you ride the rides. This place purports to be a mix of educational entertainment, but it is 99% entertainment, 1% education, so don't come in epecting a science museum sort of experience. My favorite experiences were the 3D movie theater, and the very low-tech bubble making station. All in all, a great way to spend some time out of the sun and humidity. read more
