I was a little skeptical initially due to the fact that the attendant walked us through how to put on our own harness. The fact that no one checked our harnesses to make sure they were secure enough scared me. We also went through ground rules and a walk through of how to hook and unhook yourself from the ropes. The attendant was really talking too fast, BUT we were allowed the opportunity to practice prior to beginning the actual course. Now the courses are CHALLENGING. It takes a lot of upper arm strength once you get to level 2. The courses are a mix between zip lining and actual ropes, which I thought was cool. My husband and I also attempted Level 3, but we had to turn around due to the difficulty. BEWARE, LEVEL 3 IS VERY DIFFICULT. If you complete it, then I commend you. There are water stations set up at each level for hydration, which was really nice. Staff was super friendly! You also have an opportunity to purchase pictures at the end. Highly recommend!

We came on a day when we thought the weather at the beach was going to be less than ideal - lucky for us, the Zipline tours operate rain or shine. We ended up having great weather for it too! It was super easy to book. Once we got there, they got us kitted out, then we went through a quick (yet thorough) instruction on how to safely zipline. It was a group of 5 of us plus our guides. The tour took about 2 - 2.5 hours, and you get to go on 10 different ziplines. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon. Theres a few things for younger kids like the bubble station and a few others but to make it worth $30 I wouldnt go unless you kids meet the height requirement for all the attractions. Thankfully kids 4 and under are free admission but honestly if you have older and younger kids the younger ones are going to get bored. They had an arcade near the ropes course for people waiting but it was pay per play which I wasn't going to do after paying $130 for my family to enter. The young female instructor gave the group very clear directions & spelled out everything in concise, easy to understand language for kids. She explained the gear & the importance of taking good care of one's "koala," (the metal toggle attached to the thick metal zipline.) Before I knew it, my son was off & running. He did the first run, the second, then completed the whole circuit. He did it over & over, & even opted for the next level up! I saw the owner actually work one on one for over 30 minutes with a boy who wasn't ready to do the zip line but wanted to try the rock wall instead. This is a really fun concept & I love how each person does the course on his own, with the guides present mostly for encouragement & for keeping things running safely & smoothly. Bungee, speed boats, zip line, rollercoaster, small rides, tons of bars/eateries and a Ferris wheel plus it's all on the ocean! There are a variety of shops selling the usual fare of souvenirs, tshirts and shot glasses....but it's a nice walkable area and and couldn't help but notice how clean the boardwalk area and strip was. There was even a Starbucks. lol In all, I truly enjoyed my time here and definitely recommend as a stop when visiting Myrtle Beach.
