One word describes Breakfast republic and that is "WOW". My friends and I drove all the way to Encinitas for two reasons 1. To see Juan who used to manage the Hamburger factory. 2. To celebrate my birthday with some great food! We were seated at a nice table where we could see the whole room. Our coffees came to the table automatically and with some great syrups to add in. They had vanilla and salted caramel. Yum! Then the surprise coffee cake (warm) with a raspberry drizzle appeared. We shared so we could eat more food! Lol! I ordered a grip of Jurassic bacon. A must have either with Breakfast or in a bloody Mary. Trust me. I also ordered the crab and crayfish Benedict. Everything was perfect and delicious. They also have a bunch of funny items for purchase. I wanted the "Resting Brunch Face" t-shirt, but they were out. So I settled on the "Friends with Benedicts" t-shirt and the "I Bacon" socks! Get yourself over to Breakfast republic to see Juan! Tell him Audrey Sent you! read more

The service was amazing especially from Liz. Im out of town for the weekend and dined by myself, but didn't feel like I was alone at all. On top of that the food was great! Would recommend. read more

Service was excellent! Sasha is the best! The Benedict's are always good and so are the pancakes.

Alex was great and provided good service. The food was also very tasty and came out quick (I reccomend the chicken funnel omelette ). It is a lively and fun atmosphere in here with cool decor. We came for my moms birthday and they even brought her a small dessert with a candle. We love this place and continue to come back again and again! read more

Food was very good along with service My only complaint is dirty tables. They wipe them with a wet rag. Not acceptable during a pandemic I had Lysol wipes that I used and they came up black I had the Mr Presley which was delicious !! Cups of coffee are large and generous. Wait staff friendly read more

We had an incredible server and food! We have gluten and egg allergies in our family and they have great options including Just Egg. Aram was extremely helpful and kind! We will surely be back and hope to have him again! read more

The food came out cool and was tasteless. The server concentrated on another table basically ignoring ours. The bathroom was marginal at best. Probable won't be going back. read more

EVERYTHING was perfect! Alex was amazing from start to finish. We sat down, he brought our drinks before the family even sat down! He's so quick and efficient. Orders went in and we got our food super quickly and it was accurate even with all our subs and the request to bring out the oreo pancakes later! I've been to other B. Republics and the is location is consistently delicious and a pleasure to visit. THANK YOU TO ALEX AND KITCHEN STAFF!!!! read more

Parking is horrible here, but I think its all timing. Most of the people are trying to shop at Trader Joe's. We had to put our names on the waiting list and it was about a 10-15 minute wait at around 9am. It definitely started to get crowded around 10am. So I think it would be better to go super early! There's inside and outside seating. We chose to sit inside as it was a little chilly outside, but they do have heaters. We ordered: Mexican Mocha (yummy....I got the small one, should have gotten the larger one!) American - sunny side up, Portuguese sausage, house potatoes and white toast (husband said it was good and the sausage was really good!) Strawberry & Mascarpone french toast (yummy and not sure how I can come back and select something else from the menu, but I will try to be more diverse) Busy, busy, busy inside but our waiter was awesome! Gave us advise and his likes. We will be back! read more

Meh. The food is bland and nothing special. I left regretting my choice to eat here. Pretty flavorless food and got cold fast. Didn't help that the front door was open and there was a cool breeze flowing in. Efficient but mediocre service. The shabby chic ambience is cool but it's a bit grungy in the restaurant. The salt and pepper shakers are sticky and the ketchup and salsa bottles are stuck with gunk on the rims, like they haven't been wiped down or emptied or washed in some time. Bathrooms could use some cleaning. read more

We keep coming back here for brunch/breakfast at least once a month on Mondays where it isn't too busy. There's quite a selection of food for foodies. My husband had the Shrimp and Grits which is tasty. I had the Egg Muffin Hollandaise Sauce with potatoes. I had an Immunity Shot to go to have later. My husband had his coffee. The food is good and we're always happy with the food and service. Great place for breakfast. read more

Best Vegan breakfast I've ever had. We will definitely be returning to try other items. Super friendly staff.

Great food and great service especially our waiter the persian young guy unfortunately I don't remember his name

First of all - the food is so good and the portions are massive. Second - Aram is awesome and I would come back hoping he'd be my server. He gave us great ideas of things to do during our visit to Carlsbad and was so kind. Thanks so much! read more

Portuguese Linguisa Sausage Omelette is the BUSINESS !! San Diego Benedicts is also LEGIT !! came here for brunch, crowds was just starting to come in after we got seated & that was a bonus since, the line got long. pretty chill vibe, always love friendly staffers who serves w/a smile. just visiting Carlsbad so took a little drive here for brunch & it was happy tummy for us. read more

Great breakfast the brussle sprouts potatoes were the bomb. Our waiter jose was very helpful and waited on us the entire time

Why are they playing club music at full blast at 9am? Ordered the breakfast burrito with rice and black beans. Beans were cold and had clearly been over cooked. Just a mouthful of leathery skins. Rice had been left to sit and get hard and crunchy. Potato in the burrito was undercooked. Just tough chunks. Server was minimally courteous but completely unconcerned about why I left a plateful of food behind turning down the offer of a to go box. No reason to return. read more

Great breakfast spot off El Camino in Encinitas. The hubby and I woke up hungry and arrived early so we were seated right away. I went with the basic b breakfast aka the American which came with eggs, meat, potatoes and toast. The plate sizes and portions were enormous! The potatoes were really good, as was everything else. The hubby ordered an omelet and added a pancake on the side. On top of all of that, we ordered a slice of coffee cake per the waiter's recommendation and devoured it. It paired nicely with my huge cup of coffee. The service, seating, food and restaurant were all top notch in my book. read more

Not my favorite breakfast spot, but not bad! Stopped in early Sunday AM..lots of menu options for food and drinks which is a plus. I ended up getting the cold brew with the jalapeño bacon omelette. Not the best, but it was decent. Not my first choice for breakfast, but would probably stop by again. read more

Excellent vegetable egg scramble and latte today. Could not ask for any better Server than Bryan, very polite and making sure your experience is the best. Like the atmosphere very down to earth. Thanks read more

I Usually love your food, but I was really disappointed today with my Togo order. I order the crab & crawfish Benedict with tomatoes and avocado, I did not get either and my poached eggs were so hard! We got not ketchup for our potatoes and when I called the girl told someone else I didn't like my food. I love this Benedict dish, so it's not that I didn't like it, it looked so sad! Eating there is one thing, but it looks like they don't care about the TO Go orders. read more

Breakfast Republic - Hard poached egg, no avocado no tomato, it looks like it got splashed with avocado spread from Macdonald - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Encinitas, California

The food here is always a hit. If you have a sweet tooth, there are options for you. If savory is more appealing, then they have it, too. The ambiance is fun and kid friendly. If you love rooster decor, this will be your new favorite spot. The only downside is that there is a first come, first serve seating system. What does that mean? No reservations at all, period. So the only way to combat this is arriving early, or I would suggest calling ahead to check the wait time if you plan on dining in. In summary, food is solid, and the dine in service requires some planning. Hope you enjoy when you are in the vicinity. read more

One of my favorite brunch spots in San Diego! Lots of gluten free options, including french toast and pancakes! Although the wait can be long, it's always worth the wait. Their jalapeño sausage omelette is one of my favorites, and their "upgraded" breakfast potatoes are insane! Great coffee drinks and cocktails too. read more

1. Toooo cold. They left the doors open in a 50's degree. 2. Service is slow due to one server. 3. Food was better than most breakfast places. 4. Love all quotes. Very creative!! read more

I love it. Definitely a great place to eat with tasty food, and a large menu with so many choices I could not decide. The only bummer is parking. Too small for so many businesses and it took a bit. And there was a 45 minute wait on Wednesday morning but I guess that means it is good. They are practicing social distancing with masks, space in between tables, and dining inside and out. There were 6 or 7 things I wanted to try but settled on the flight of 3 pancakes. I picked Churro, Strawberry cheesecake, and Oreo cookie. YUM! Delicious. Plenty large enough, great portion for the price and so sweet and tantalizing. I shared it but scarfed it down and then ate my half of the 3 egg omelet plate, with English muffin, and house potatoes. Definitely will be back to try the burrito, the jambalaya, the Elvis Presley french toast, the steak, and many others. The service was excellent, friendly, fast and thorough. read more

I know inflation has been tough on restaurants, but the ham on the eggs benedict is outrageous. At first, I thought they forgot the ham, but then realized it was so small that it was completely covered by the egg. Just tasted like eggs and an english muffin. read more

Little strange, walked in at 2:40 traveling decent distance for breakfast, to find out kitchen had closed earlier on a slow day and labor costs. Can't make this up. I would say post intent to close early on internet so you don't have even slower days with repeat customers not returning! read more

Food here is salty (especially the potatoes). I believe it's a local San Diego chain? The host didn't seem too perky albeit it was around 10am. Service was a bit slow, food came out slow as well. They serve Vital Eggs here which was super yellow and yolky. My jambalaya rice/shrimp/sausage dish was comfort food for me for brunch. They definitely know how to market the swag and merchandise. read more
