I loved this place. They were friendly and fast. The food offerings are unique and fantastic. I especially appreciated that the waiter was willing to share opinions about the food. It helped me get the right dish. He knows who he is as I told him before leaving. I don't think you can go wrong here but I hope he stays and is rewarded. read more

A cool little breakfast diner tucked away in Pacifica. The service was great. We greeted at the main entrance by an employee who appeared to be the owner/manager. He opened the door for my wife and I and sat us down at our table. Some seats have an ocean view... But not many. I had the lox's omelette and my wife had the eggs benedict. We were pleased with out meal. The coffee was great. Prices were reasonable. We will make a trip back. read more

I came with very high expectations there as I saw the great reviews. I called at 1030 am on a Saturday to see if I can get us in for brunch, party of 2. We wanted the outside seating as we had our pup with us. We were told there will be availability after 11:30 , which sounded fine. We were there at 11:10 and were told it will be after 12 as there was a big party. Ok, we we still wanted to try the famous crab cakes Benedict and decided to order to go and eat at the beach. The person at the register seemed very efficient in taking orders, ringing checks of leaving people, seating others. It was super busy! Our ETA for the order was 15 min. I kept on checking after the fifteen minutes and order was not done even after 30 min. People from the big party were already leaving so I asked if we can get seated outside in that case, but we were ignored on our request. Order was ready at the 45 minutes. Up to that point I was annoyed but still would have left a much better review with more stars, but food was completely cold, English muffins were soggy and the side fruit cup was half full... also no extra napkins for eating outside, only whatever pieces of single ply tissue included in the silverware packets. I think I will give this place a second chance but definitely not for a busy Saturday brunch. read more

Breakers is the best place to eat breakfast after walking your dog. Their dog-friendly patio makes it possible to eat with my ENTIRE family, including my pup. Staff here are so friendly and the service is amazing. The food rocks too!! read more

Me & my boyfriend came here for breakfast for our anniversary in the bay. It's right next to the beach! The service was amazing. It looked PACKED from the outside so we were kind of worried. We came in & the greeter said 5-10 mins. 5 mins later we were seated & greeted by a server that looked happy to be working! Both coffee & water pitchers available throughout our entire meal! Awesome!! read more

Went here on a Thursday morning and everything was great!! We ordered the crab panini and the bacon waffle. Both were so good! Can't wait to come here again! The coffee was terrible though. Lol read more

4 stars average review, wow? Seriously? The food was very bland, eggs/fries. The bagel with cream cheese was good however, and coffee was average at best. The service was good, and the waitresses were attractive, but I was disappointed with the meal... read more

Beautiful sunny day at Pacifica by the ocean. My sister and I both had the King crab paninni sandwich. We waited a long time for our food, and my seat had a piece of cooked onion on it, minus a star. The sandwich was perfect, with a good amount of delicious fresh crab and melted cheese, on toasty warm paninni bread, served with a light diced salad. My Arnold Palmer iced tea was automatically refilled by our server. That was a plus for star. read more

Horrible Service, I called to make a to-go order. I said this will be a breakfast order hence it was 9:30 AM and the person that answered the phone (male) said no I thought it was a lunch order...I overlooked his smart a$$ comment and started to order our food. I was giving him orders while asking my family what they wanted. The rude Male said I can't stay on the phone for you to ask everyone what they want. You should already know what they want before ordering, I need to put you on hold. While on hold I heard him talking to another coworker saying I can't take this order while she is asking everyone what they want, I'm to busy for that and continued to tell his coworkers he wasn't going to take my order. No problem I hang up & would never ever give this business my money. To bad because they missed out on feeding a family of 5 which could of potentially led to a nice bill and nicer tip. Since I'm a big tipper for someone who goes above & beyond. I will make sure to tell everyone I know this place is awful & to avoid it like the plague. read more

Great breakfast and wonderful service. We arrived as a party of 8 and in minutes they pushed 2 tables together and accommodated our big party on a busy day. They were very attentive and super-friendly. The menu has more options than you can wish for and the food was delicious. Everything was fresh and the portions were of manageable size. That's what I call quality vs. quantity. What a gem on the coast! Thanks to the team for such a lovely experience. We'll definitely be back soon. read more

I was looking for a place that served breakfast, brunch and lunch so this fit the bill. The lunch was fine, nothing extraordinary, but a solid meal and a reasonable price. It's a good location to enjoy the ocean and the waves. Our server was very attentive and nice. We had 3 adults and 1 alert and active 14-month old and they were very good about making sure that we had what we needed to keep the little one happy, which of course made all of the adults happy. Do note the longer wait times on weekends. Didn't check if they took reservations. But after putting in our names it was about a 30 minute wait before we were seated. read more

A full house on a sunny, Saturday morning at the beach. Waiting less than 10 minutes for our table we found the staff to be friendly and accommodating in every way. Our server Alyssa was fantastic and attentive to us throughout. The bacon, avocado omelet with jack cheese was perfect. With OJ and coffee, our breakfast for two came to $33. An outstanding experience from start to finish, we plan to return soon. read more

Every dish we had was very good - even the plain 'ol toast was great! Do try the eggs louie with delicious crab and the macadamia nut banana pancakes. Price was also very good. I would give it 5 stars if the windows and bathroom were cleaner. Would definitely come back! read more

Yep the line outside is long but it moves quickly. Ordered the florentine and chorizo omelet. Both OK but my 4 stars are for the macadamia nut banana pancake and the super-friendly service read more

I like the vibe of the place it was very nice and homey. I went with my boyfriend and he had heard that this place was great. We came here instead of high tide because high tide was packed. Anyways, when we got our menus i was a little confused because it seemed like everything had to be ordered seperately, which i didn't like. Like pancakes are just ordered by themselves and 3 cost like 7.95 which is pretty pricey for just pancakes. I had to order two eggs on the side. The chocolate milk i got was good. The food was not amazing but it wasnt terrible. I just didnt think it was worth it. The eggs were cold when they served it and the pancakes weren't really my style. Probably gonna come here again see if it gets any better. Great staff and great location though! read more

I've been here with my family twice. Great brunch place. If you're a local, come early on the weekends since its gets packed by tourists and hotel guests. Overall, great food, hearty servings, great service, and reasonably priced. You pay for the food and not the view unlike Nick's restaurant across the street. read more

Came here on my birthday and they treated me so well. They brought me cheesecake and sang to me and made me feel at home. Steve the owner and Kayla, my server were very welcoming and kind. The food was good and the view was incredible. I'll be back next time I'm in town. read more

Great service and amazing food! Everyone was so friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious...chorizo and avocado omelet and meaty omelet. The pancakes were also wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone for breakfast. read more

An amazing place with an amazing beach. We ordered home style meat burger - superbly tasty - best burger I have ever tasted in California .. , Belgian waffle (pecan) - blissfully yum - banana and pecan one was surprisingly very tasty, way above expectations.. must try .. Crab crepes and turkey wrap - both were also good. Not that expensive.. our bill was 84$+tip ($100 total) for 4 adults and one kid.. but the food and rates were totally worth .. The best part was the beach, otherwise the beaches are windy in bay area and nearby but the best part about the beach here was, it was surrounded by mountains so no winds , super summer love :) We reached this place by fault. But it turned out the best part of our Sunday .. Also not crowded the rest of the places .. Yes but the wait for our turn at this restaurant was like 45 mins.. but the taste was so yum that we forgot the wait part .. Thumbs up guys.. will visit again definitely . read more

Was planning to have a great brunch but was not overwhelming happy with my breakfast from here. Ordered a blueberry pancake with a side of hash browns. The blueberry pancake was good but not amazing for $6. The hash browns were good but could've been crispier and more flavorful. My boyfriend got a turkey wrap that was not cooked evenly and was super watery. He had a side of fruits with his that had grapes, watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, and pineapple. A little weirded out by the fruit selection because how and why would you eat that with pancakes and waffles. The customer service was great. Would probably just go to Millbrae Pancake House the next time I'm over in this area. read more

This is one of the best breakfast/lunch restaurants in Pacifica! All staff is wonderful, excellent food nice environment, good prices. Always busy I just love it. read more

Usually awesome when we come during the week, but today is a Sunday and our food was sloppy and subpar. I'd recommend coming during the week if possible, when it's slower. Food is usually spectacular! read more

Wow!! Coming to this area has always been a favorite quick getaway. Today we tried out Breakers for breakfast. It was delicious. The best part was we ate on a covered patio with heaters as it rained AND our beloved dog joined. read more

Wow! This place is great. Great coffee, fabulous food and impeccable service. I had the Greek omelet and my husband had his standard 2 eggs over easy with toast and hash browns. Everything was perfectly done and the portion size was generous but not overwhelming. The staff was friendly as well as witty. Four thumbs up on this place from us. read more

This father-and-son establishment combines good, wholesome food with a warm and friendly environment and tops it off with great service. This place, only a year old, has quickly become a family favorite and our go-to breakfast/lunch establishment. I'm so impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the consistent deliciousness of the food. I've tried at least 10 things on the menu, and they're all good. Today's choice: the breakfast burrito with smoked turkey instead of pork. read more

We love this place!! Great food, friendly service, and an awesome ocean view! We eat here two to three times a month and it is always an amazing experience! read more

I got the French toast with fruits and they were alright, soda tasted nasty, food takes too long to get prepared

Delish! Coconut, macadamia, bananna pancakes..need I say more?! I went to this spot when visiting Pacifica bc I heard this is a local breakfast hot spot. For good reason! There was a long wait, but they had complimentary coffee while you hang outside and watch the waves. Fine by me. Food was all super good. Most of all we were welcomed with huge smiles, you can tell the owners really care about their customers experience! I'll be back when I'm in town! read more

Long waits on the weekend for average food. Been here a couple times with friends who live in Pacifica. There is nothing on the menu that stands out or that is prepared above average. In a recent trip, they brought out one person's meal 15 minutes ahead of the rest of the table's. Just sloppy. I don't recommend this place. read more

I've never actually been in here, but my husband has brought breakfast home a few times on Sunday mornings and everything was delicious. I love the omelets. My husband tried one of their burgers a couple weeks ago and said "hands down the BEST burger he's EVER had". I've go to try this burger now too! read more

Breakers, a step back in time to a friendly cafe with small-town feel. Nice greeting by the owner, Steve, excellent service by Allysia (she brought a second glass of iced tea on her own before the first was finished), really good BLT with French fries and fresh salad included for under $10, and the waves roaring in at Rockaway Beach just steps away. The place was full at noon on a Tuesday and everyone had a smile. We didn't know a soul when we walked in but felt totally included. We'll be back soon. read more

If I could give this place less than one star, I would. My friend and I waited for our food for an additional hour after waiting to be seated for an hour. The food itself was mediocre in taste and overpriced (I got the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries). The reason why my rating is so low is mostly because of the bad service that we received and the manager's poor treatment of his customers. I'm aware that not all owners or managers go out of their way to give exceptional service, but when asked multiple times by paying customers, who have also waited an hour to get seated, why their food was taking 45 minutes to come out, his response was "If you don't like it, then leave." I watched multiple people leave and wished that I had done so before receiving my food. I would understand if this was a fine dining establishment that served amazing food, but it's a dingy little cafe with inadequate seating and poor staff. If you can avoid this place, by all means do. read more

This new restaurant is definitely a spot to check out! The menu is well rounded and you're bound to find something you'd like. I tried the pancakes and carnitas plate and it was delicious! Who would've thought that carnitas on top of 3 fluffy pancakes would be a great combo?! The view is also breath-taking... you can walk just a few feet over to a fenced wall where the waves crash right underneath your feet. Friendly and super helpful staff too! The owner is also extremely involved in the business, greeting everyone and making sure everyone is happy. His passion and love for this restaurant shows in every aspect of your experience at this joint! If you're ever in Pacifica, go to Breakers! read more

I really enjoyed this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone who loves breakfast and lunch. They have a great variety of omelets, crepes, frittatas and benedicts with lots of vegetarian options. They have the usual fare as well as a decent selection of salads and lunch items. I had the meat crepe with ham, bacon, sausage, avocado, onions, mushrooms and cheese - came with potatos and marinated salad. Coffee is provided in a carafe and water must be requested but they bring a pitcher for the table. I also had a smoothie and agin they have a few options to choose from. Price is reasonable about $9 for the usual breakfast dishes and about $13 for the crepes. read more

Great service, great team work among the staff, great food choices, good prices! I loved the atmosphere! There was a real sense of team work and energy. I had worked in the Hospitality Industry for 15+ years and it is wonderful to see a restaurant that includes the little things for its customers. Real solid comfortable chairs, real glassware, nice serving dishes, clean and welcoming. I would still be in the industry if I had worked in a place like this one! It is a real find for a decent place to eat breakfast or lunch along the coast. I am glad we found it! read more

This place is fantastic! The food is phenomenal and the service is always warm and friendly. This is my favorite place to eat on a Sunday morning in Pacifica and I have yet to be disappointed. From the gorgeous view to the menu that has something that's bound to please everyone, this sweet family owned restaurant tops my list! The waffles are a must try, along with the Monte Cristo sandwich (ask for a side of maple syrup to dip it in), breakfast burrito, and carnitas quesadilla, just to name a few! I'm looking forward to trying more menu items but it's so difficult to deviate from the delicious dishes I've already tried! I would recommend this place to anyone :) read more

Potential to be a great breakfast place but the menu needs work. Why do you only have hashbrowns and not breakfast potatoes? No biscuits and gravy or chicken fried steak on the menu? But they both were "Specials." 12 flippin dollars for you stupid biscuits and gravy that comes with hashbrowns and scrambled eggs?! Or how about the chick fried steak we ordered for $18 bucks w.o toast. WTF. My gf asked for toast and that was extra lol.... Can I trade in your uninspiring bland salad of veggies that came with my Rueben. I mean, come on, I felt bad wasting fresh vegetables like that. 2 stars because I did eat the Rueben and the fries from a bag in the freezer. Oh, it makes sense now, you cant do breakfast potatoes because you guys dont have fresh potatoes in your restaurant. Sorry. : / Positives: Good service, friendly owners, & nice giving coffee while you wait. read more
