After buying the house in 2017 I had no issue with the roof until 2023 heavy rain. start leaking from few different places My friend recommended Brearoofing and after contacting 6 different roofing companies I decided to go with Brearoofing Brearoofing's Quotes was in the middle among the 6 companies I have contacted But I chose Brearoofing after talking to Justin Had to wait few months until my turn but it was worth of waiting other than leaks, I had issue of roof rat coming through the damaged roof Amazingly after brearoof finished new roof installation rodent disappeared highly recommend Brearoofing

Brea Roofing has taken great care of my property for many years now. We own a couple of industrial building with about 37,000 sq. ft. of roof. In 2016 Brea roofing did some repairs and applied an elastomeric white roof coating. They provided a competitive price and did a great job. Now, 5 years later, tenants, HVAC repairs and utility companies have poked holes in the roof. Brea Roofing came out cleaned up all the debris and patch all the holes for a nominal fee. They also did some free warranty work to reinforce the drains and other areas. I was surprised on what they did for so little cost. These guys really stand behind their work and honor their warranty.

Where to start..Brea Roofing has been around since 1983. Dan started the company, and has since passed it down to his son Justin, who graduated from Cal State Fullerton. Their showroom gives you an excellent idea of what your new roof will look like. Barbra, Dan's wife, still works at the front desk and can answer all your questions you may have. This family owned/operated company makes it feel like you're having a friend put your roof on; rather than just some random roofing company. Another huge reason to choose Brea Roofing is that every worker is insured and covered under Workman's Comp. Other companies will register one or two workers (out of 15) under worker's comp, and say they're "insured". That's a great way to get sued.. Oh- and every roof Brea Roofing puts on is warranties for 50 years!! (They are a Master Elite Certified company through GAF). So their warranties actually hold a value.

On the righthand side of photo in the dark cloud you can clearly see the long gash! ....I'm Sure They Seen It As Well, Kinda' Hard To Miss!

Responsive through the process. The bid was not the lowest, but not the highest either I liked their approach to addressing the leak issues.

Ask the Community - Brea Roofing

Hi, my mom lives in a mobile home park down the street from me. I am the co-owner. She has a small leak in her laundry room and said she has a couple of loose shingles. Are you able to give me a quote for repair?

Yes we can. Please send the address and your contact info to 714-906-9006 so I can make an appointment to take a look. Thank you.

Hi, I have existing 4.8kw SolarEdge system. I want to add 3 more panels. Is that something you may interest doing ? That is all the space I have on my townhome roof?

Solar Edge systems are limited to the input rating of the combiner box. Do you happen to have the plan set form the original install. If not, I would need to stop by and inspect it in person. -Justin Shirley, Brea Roofing 714-906-9006

Absolutely First-Rate from Start to Finish When the fires…read morehit Southern California and we lost power for two weeks, something changed for me. I remember standing outside one night listening to my neighbor's generator roar to life again. It sounded like a chainsaw tearing through the quiet. Across the street, friends with solar and batteries had their lights on. Their kids were inside watching TV. Life looked normal. Meanwhile, I was packing up my family to leave our home. Rising electricity rates, AI data centers consuming massive amounts of power, and talk of double digit rate increases made going solar the right thing to do. I researched heavily. Built a spreadsheet. Interviewed over a dozen companies. Got bids through Energy Sage, cold called installers, and asked around for referrals. I wasn't looking for a sales pitch. I was looking for people I could trust with my home and my family's security. Infinity Solar felt different from the start. I didn't have to deal with brokers or middlemen to jack up prices. They are family owned, in business over 25 years, BBB A+ rated, and 5 stars on Yelp. Tim, the owner is a C10 licensed contractor, sets the tone for the entire company. His pride and commitment to doing things right shows up in every person on his team. Sara, our project manager, kept everything organized with clear, proactive communication. Blake handled the maze of permitting. If you've dealt with solar permitting in California you know what a mess it is. State, county, city, and fire department all with their own rules. Blake stayed on top of all of it so I didn't have to. Joel made sure the job site ran smoothly. The crew deserves real recognition: electricians Adrian, Ivan, Salvador, and Christian; roof lead Arni; installers Jose, Gabriel, Kieren, Israel, Erik, and Robert; and Deyvis helping with inspection. They showed up on time, worked hard, kept everything clean, and answered my endless questions without ever making me feel like I was in the way. Construction always has bumps. Permits get revised, inspectors want changes. What mattered was how Infinity handled it. Calmly, professionally, and without disappearing. Tim must be a good boss and take care of his people because this is a crew of highly skilled workers who take real pride in what they do. The day the system went live felt like a turning point. Our first outage was December 23rd while setting up for a Christmas party. Power was out over eight hours. The lights never flickered. I only knew because the app alerted me. Tim included a Solar Insure 30 year warranty covering panels, microinverters, wiring, and roof penetrations, including labor. It's backed by an A+ Superior rated third party insurer and is transferable if I sell my home. An installer's warranty is useless if they go out of business, so this gives real peace of mind. Because I verify everything, I called Solar Insure, Enphase, FranklinWH, and REC directly to confirm Infinity is a Premium or Platinum installer with each. They are. I'll break even in 8 years at current rates, sooner when rates keep climbing, and you know they will. But more than savings, it's peace of mind. When the grid goes down, our house doesn't. Infinity Solar gave our family back a sense of stability. I'm grateful we chose them.

She offered a free panel cleaning, which she set up internally and had their team come out this past Friday without issue. Since the cleaning the panels have been much better performing especially after these past few weeks of misting and rain, about 25% higher output. I didn't think much of it but I get now it's worth doing to get the most out of the panels. Overall a very good response and experience with OC specifically for this issue. Every person who came out was professional and respectful. What really set them apart was handling both our full roof replacement and solar installation together. Their pricing was competitive, and their substantial warranty sealed the deal. Highly recommend them if you're considering solar!

A Masterclass in Incompetence -- Avoid Sunrun at All Costs…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Sunrun has been a nightmare from start to finish -- and it's still not over, nearly nine months later. After signing up and having the panels physically installed, I expected the project to move forward. Instead, I've been stuck in an endless cycle of delays, excuses, and mismanagement. Multiple city inspections were failed due to basic, avoidable errors, and despite repeated outreach, I was met with little to no communication from the project manager, Amanda Gonzalez, or the broader Sunrun team. The final blow came when Edison finally arrived to install the meter -- only to walk away because Sunrun used the wrong conduit. They used liquid conduit instead of the required rigid conduit, which any experienced installer should know is a basic code requirement. Because of this egregious mistake, The timeline to fix it and reschedule inspections could take another 3 to 6 months. That will make this project stretch into well over a year and a half -- and I've already started making loan payments for a system that still isn't active. This isn't just a frustrating customer experience -- it's gross negligence. The lack of quality control, project oversight, and accountability is unacceptable for any company, especially one claiming to be a leader in solar. Do yourself a favor: avoid Sunrun at all costs. There are other solar providers who actually know how to get a system online without trapping you in a yearlong purgatory.

Our first conversation with NetZero was with Donny, and while it was helpful, we decided to pause and keep learning. After doing more homework and later reconnecting with Nilda and Bobby, the experience felt very different. They took the time to answer questions in plain language, walked through realistic expectations, and never tried to rush us into a decision. After we decided to move forward, the process was handled professionally from start to finish. Nick helped dial in the system design and made sure everything made sense for our home, and Mark oversaw the install side and kept things moving smoothly. The crew showed up when they said they would, treated our home with care, and cleaned up at the end of each day, which we really appreciated. Permitting and inspections were handled by the team and communicated the steps along the way. There were no surprises. Kelly was especially helpful keeping us in the loop and responding quickly whenever we had questions, which made the whole process feel far less stressful than we expected going in. Overall, NetZero Energy felt like a company that values doing things the right way and standing behind their work. We are happy with the install, the communication, and the end result, and would feel comfortable recommending them to friends or family who are considering solar.
