Stay away from this company! Several things went wrong with replacing the roof on my mom's home. Problem #1 - After signing the Contract, they tried to change the payment terms. They acknowledged they made a mistake and should have included language about a 3% credit card fee. Since, it wasn't included in the signed Contract, we did not pay this additional fee. Problem #2 - on the first day of work, my mom found one of the workers sleeping on her front porch for 1-1/2 hours. Problem #3 - Nobody spoke english on site and it was very difficult to communicate with the workers. They were extremely sloppy and left nails and debris all around my mom's home, even after they left each day. Problem #4 - the work was scheduled to last 1 week, but took almost 4 weeks, b/c of their sloppy workmanship and not passing the first inspection. Problem #5 - they damaged the chimney, garage and the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. They left nails in the rafters. Problem #6 - My mom asked if there was any construction debris in the gutters and the worker said no. My 84 year old mother got up on a ladder to check and found there was a lot of construction debris left in her gutter (see photo). Problem #7 - I had to chase after them to provide me two receipts for the second and third payment. It took them two weeks to send me the last receipt. Problem #8 - Zero project oversight. Nobody checked on this projects and my mom had to make sure they did all the work correctly. I would NOT recommend this company if you are looking for a hassle free roof replacement. read more

This business is not trustworthy, and I warn you to stay away. First, the person I initially talked to on the phone and sounded so friendly and trustworthy and promised to personally take care of me seems to be a salesperson and not actually the owner, which seems deceptive, but is a minor point. -Major strike one: I bought a new house, but still had three months left on my apartment lease. I was eager to move in, but wanted to get all repairs done first. I very clearly stated my timeline and directly asked if they were ready to start work right away. They promised they would start immediately. I signed the contract, and suddenly they had an excuse, oh don't worry, we'll start next week, and they kept pulling me along until my apartment lease ended and I moved into the house. Now I had to be inconvenienced by having work done while living in the house. How do you miss a start date by three months when you promised to start right away. -Major strike two: Once work started, they discovered they made a "mistake" on my estimate and my price almost doubled. Apparently they were mistaken what kind of roof I had, even though they had come out and done an in person estimate including climbing all over the roof! -Major strike three: After hitting me with the extra bill almost the price of a car, they started work, tore the roof up, and then called me for more money - price of lumber went up since they made the estimate. Who's fault was that! I had wanted to start work right away, they were the ones who dragged this out. At that point I said, no we are not continuing. So they warn me, your roof is open and it tends to rain this time of year, you could get a lot of damage if it rains while you're figuring it out, basically holding my house hostage. I say no, I'll take my chances. So next day he calls me and says, okay we still have to increase the price, but we will increase it X amount less. At this point, I say fine then, continue, I don't want water damage. So they agree to continue, oh but they need a one week delay because while we were negotiating, they started another project... -Major strike four: One week passes, and they're ready to start again, and they show me the new invoice, the "discount" (really a smaller price increase) is missing! I ask them about it, they say they never agreed to that. What! I had said to stop the project, and the only reason we had agreed to continue was the "discount"! We even had a one week delay! But they say no, we won't budge on the price, and you should check the forecast, it's going to rain this weekend! They've given me no choice now but to continue with them as after the delay, I have no time to find anyone before it rains. Minor strike(?): After they were done, attic was covered with about six inches of debris, which will be very difficult to clean out. They say this is normal operations, but I'm not so sure. Major/minor strike: They left multiple holes in walls and floor, which they say is a normal side effect. Again, I'm not so sure this is true, as damage was not minor. Ultimately, this is getting long, so I will wrap up. Hire someone you can trust to not change prices or lie about availability. EDIT: Manager reply saying I reviewed the wrong business. They're usually busy so it might be a while until they can start the work. But it's worth the wait. Roofers were thorough and didn't waste time standing around alot like you often see with some contractors. Roofers were efficient and also throughly cleaned up after themselves every day. A few days after the roof was completed, Caesar came by following up making sure I was completely satisfied. They are very courteous and professional. Great people and Great company. Had an appointment set for Friday and they had to cancel because their estimator could not make it and rescheduled for Thursday. They called me an hour before estimator was supposed to arrive to cancel the appointment. They said they could do an estimate using satellite footage to give a rough estimate and I would receive it by the end of the day. I never received the estimate, called back the next day and they said I would receive it by the end of the week. It is now Tuesday with no rough estimate received. While it seems like their work is good I just wish the follow through was there for the consumer as it is hard having someone home at the time just to have it cancelled and not have the process done on their end for what they promised as follow through. read more

We used Elite Roofing Solution January of 2019 to completely replace our roof. We paid for top premium materials (we have a flat roof) that have a 20 year warranty plus 7 year warranty for labor. It is 01/07/22 in SoCal and we just experience our first heavy rains in a long time. My daughter's room experienced a leak and her wall now has water damage. Water was sipping through holes that had bursted in the paint (picture below). This happened on 12/30/21. We were understanding that people would be out of the office, but called anyways and was told that we would get a call back on Monday, January 3rd. I have called and messaged every single day this week and keep being promised a phone call from Leo or Kevin to come and fix our roof. No phone call, no follow up, nothing. I am so displeased with the lack of professionalism and honestly, clearly poor works man ship on a brand new roof. Already experiencing a leak after 2 years. I clearly stated in my original request that I was only interested in repair and not roof replacement. Most of the roofers recommended by Yelp are not interested in repairs. Elite sent out Julio to give me an estimate. Once he realized I was only interested in patching a leak where one of my solar panels is attached to the roof plus some wood sheathing and facia repair it seemed like he was ready to leave. He texted me before pulling away asking for my email address so he could email me an estimate. That was three days ago and nothing yet. I also find it interesting that on Yelp it says they are located in Placentia, the reason I called a local company. We had a major leak under our solar. We contacted Elite Roofing and Solar. Julio came out and gave us a couple options for the repair. His quotes with warranty and they were reasonable so we decided to use them for the repair. What a good choice that was. We have had a lot of rain this month and Elite repaired our roof in between the storms. They came out removed the Solar and replaced the wood that needed replacing and installed a product that seals nail holes. Reinstalled our solar. They handled permit and city inspections.
