Elite roofing did a phenomenal job with the roof replacement. They were very clear in any challenges regarding permitting, schedule, and change orders due to unforeseen challenges such as rotted roof plywood. Overall, could not be more please with the results. read more

Stay away from this company! Several things went wrong with replacing the roof on my mom's home. Problem #1 - After signing the Contract, they tried to change the payment terms. They acknowledged they made a mistake and should have included language about a 3% credit card fee. Since, it wasn't included in the signed Contract, we did not pay this additional fee. Problem #2 - on the first day of work, my mom found one of the workers sleeping on her front porch for 1-1/2 hours. Problem #3 - Nobody spoke english on site and it was very difficult to communicate with the workers. They were extremely sloppy and left nails and debris all around my mom's home, even after they left each day. Problem #4 - the work was scheduled to last 1 week, but took almost 4 weeks, b/c of their sloppy workmanship and not passing the first inspection. Problem #5 - they damaged the chimney, garage and the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. They left nails in the rafters. Problem #6 - My mom asked if there was any construction debris in the gutters and the worker said no. My 84 year old mother got up on a ladder to check and found there was a lot of construction debris left in her gutter (see photo). Problem #7 - I had to chase after them to provide me two receipts for the second and third payment. It took them two weeks to send me the last receipt. Problem #8 - Zero project oversight. Nobody checked on this projects and my mom had to make sure they did all the work correctly. I would NOT recommend this company if you are looking for a hassle free roof replacement. read more

This business is not trustworthy, and I warn you to stay away. First, the person I initially talked to on the phone and sounded so friendly and trustworthy and promised to personally take care of me seems to be a salesperson and not actually the owner, which seems deceptive, but is a minor point. -Major strike one: I bought a new house, but still had three months left on my apartment lease. I was eager to move in, but wanted to get all repairs done first. I very clearly stated my timeline and directly asked if they were ready to start work right away. They promised they would start immediately. I signed the contract, and suddenly they had an excuse, oh don't worry, we'll start next week, and they kept pulling me along until my apartment lease ended and I moved into the house. Now I had to be inconvenienced by having work done while living in the house. How do you miss a start date by three months when you promised to start right away. -Major strike two: Once work started, they discovered they made a "mistake" on my estimate and my price almost doubled. Apparently they were mistaken what kind of roof I had, even though they had come out and done an in person estimate including climbing all over the roof! -Major strike three: After hitting me with the extra bill almost the price of a car, they started work, tore the roof up, and then called me for more money - price of lumber went up since they made the estimate. Who's fault was that! I had wanted to start work right away, they were the ones who dragged this out. At that point I said, no we are not continuing. So they warn me, your roof is open and it tends to rain this time of year, you could get a lot of damage if it rains while you're figuring it out, basically holding my house hostage. I say no, I'll take my chances. So next day he calls me and says, okay we still have to increase the price, but we will increase it X amount less. At this point, I say fine then, continue, I don't want water damage. So they agree to continue, oh but they need a one week delay because while we were negotiating, they started another project... -Major strike four: One week passes, and they're ready to start again, and they show me the new invoice, the "discount" (really a smaller price increase) is missing! I ask them about it, they say they never agreed to that. What! I had said to stop the project, and the only reason we had agreed to continue was the "discount"! We even had a one week delay! But they say no, we won't budge on the price, and you should check the forecast, it's going to rain this weekend! They've given me no choice now but to continue with them as after the delay, I have no time to find anyone before it rains. Minor strike(?): After they were done, attic was covered with about six inches of debris, which will be very difficult to clean out. They say this is normal operations, but I'm not so sure. Major/minor strike: They left multiple holes in walls and floor, which they say is a normal side effect. Again, I'm not so sure this is true, as damage was not minor. Ultimately, this is getting long, so I will wrap up. Hire someone you can trust to not change prices or lie about availability. EDIT: Manager reply saying I reviewed the wrong business. This is the correct business. read more

Elite Roofing and Solar Solutions - New Roof Done By Elite Roofing Julio and Octavio Great Customer Service - Solar Installation Near Me - Placentia, California

Julio came out gave me a fair estimate, was patient and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. After doing my due diligence, I hired them. They're usually busy so it might be a while until they can start the work. But it's worth the wait. Roofers were thorough and didn't waste time standing around alot like you often see with some contractors. Roofers were efficient and also throughly cleaned up after themselves every day. A few days after the roof was completed, Caesar came by following up making sure I was completely satisfied. They are very courteous and professional. Great people and Great company. I highly recommend Elite solar and Roofing. My job was a complete new tile roof. read more

I was given a 2 hour window for them to arrive. I asked if they could come sooner on my 10-12 pm window. They said they would let their estimator know. I wrote the next day (at 10:30 am) if they could give me an ETA. No response from the company or estimator. I texted Rachel at both numbers I had. No response. At 12:00 pm I sent another message through Yelp. No response and the estimator has yet to arrive. I wouldn't list the company on your "professional " list. read more

Had an appointment set for Friday and they had to cancel because their estimator could not make it and rescheduled for Thursday. They called me an hour before estimator was supposed to arrive to cancel the appointment. They said they could do an estimate using satellite footage to give a rough estimate and I would receive it by the end of the day. I never received the estimate, called back the next day and they said I would receive it by the end of the week. It is now Tuesday with no rough estimate received. While it seems like their work is good I just wish the follow through was there for the consumer as it is hard having someone home at the time just to have it cancelled and not have the process done on their end for what they promised as follow through. read more

Got the roof installed last January. It was perfect even though the price is high but we are happy with the work done on my roof. Now we have peace of mind when the rain season is coming. Looks like I also have been stood up. Scheduled an appointment with Meli (manager) for today from 10am - 12pm to inspect the issue with the roof leak. No show, no calls and when I called them, I got sent to voicemail. Would have appreciated a call if the person was running late but nothing as well. This does not look good on any company. If they can't keep their promise to show up, what are the chances of them keeping their promise to get the job done. Last thing someone needs is to have an unfinished job and being ghosted. If they have so much work that they can treat a potential customer like this then I'll pass. Thank you. read more

Scheduled appointment with customer service. Confirmed appointment and no one showed up. Waited hours. Asked for status and did not get a response. No call or reschedule. I would not work with this company based on initial interaction. There are plenty of other companies that respect their customer's time. Response to the business reply below - my number is valid. I never received a call. You never called. You could have sent me a message on yelp, but you failed to do so. This type of behavior results in bad business practices and lies. I highly suggest you think twice if you consider doing business with liars. read more

We used Elite Roofing Solution January of 2019 to completely replace our roof. We paid for top premium materials (we have a flat roof) that have a 20 year warranty plus 7 year warranty for labor. It is 01/07/22 in SoCal and we just experience our first heavy rains in a long time. My daughter's room experienced a leak and her wall now has water damage. Water was sipping through holes that had bursted in the paint (picture below). This happened on 12/30/21. We were understanding that people would be out of the office, but called anyways and was told that we would get a call back on Monday, January 3rd. I have called and messaged every single day this week and keep being promised a phone call from Leo or Kevin to come and fix our roof. No phone call, no follow up, nothing. I am so displeased with the lack of professionalism and honestly, clearly poor works man ship on a brand new roof. Already experiencing a leak after 2 years. No one has called, roof is still not fixed, and $13,000 went down the toilet. read more

Elite Roofing and Solar Solutions - The bubbles in the wall is from all the water building up from the leak in the roof. - Solar Installation Near Me - Placentia, California

Everything, and I mean everything was handled with true professionalism. Julio came out and quoted the project right away. Sarah and Matthew in the back office coordinated scheduling and contracts. Hugo and his team came out and did an amazing job. We had about 6-8 tiles come down across an eave row in Hurricane (actually tropical storm) Hilary, and this is now 5 days later and our roof is back to new. Can't recommend these guys enough. They were on-time, did great work and their pricing is incredibly fair! Elite is awesome! read more

The receptionist Nicole was responsive and friendly. We set up estimate appointment and on day of estimate, the company was a no-show. Tried to set up an appointment , was offered 4-6PM on Friday 8/6/21 or at least I thought it was for 2021? Maybe it was for 22, or 23. No show, no call for to confirm or cancel. Is it me? My money no good? Am I on a black list? I guess they have so much business they don't need anymore. read more

This company definitely exceeded my expectations!! (I had a total of 6 companies come out to see my roof) Elite Roofing did not disappoint. Vicente & his team did a great job on my roof & he was very nice and clear in updating me day by day the process of my home project. They are very professional, they also took before & after pictures for me to see my roof. (They showed me pictures of a lot of damage on my roof) They also cleaned up after themselves. I had a roof leak that cause water stains on top of my ceiling. Thru yelp, I had schedule 3 estimates from different highly rated roof repair companies. Elite Roofing offered me the best prices the technician that came out for the estimate was able to give me an estimate on the spot. We quickly scheduled for an appointment and got the roof fix when I was not home. The repair appears to be in great condition as the fix just came on time for this week's rain. I clearly stated in my original request that I was only interested in repair and not roof replacement. Most of the roofers recommended by Yelp are not interested in repairs. Elite sent out Julio to give me an estimate. Once he realized I was only interested in patching a leak where one of my solar panels is attached to the roof plus some wood sheathing and facia repair it seemed like he was ready to leave. He texted me before pulling away asking for my email address so he could email me an estimate. That was three days ago and nothing yet. I also find it interesting that on Yelp it says they are located in Placentia, the reason I called a local company. When I looked at Julio's card after he left, it says they are located in Riverside. read more

Great experience working with the company. Julio is very communicative, on time, gave a competitive quote on roofing and worked extra hard to meet my additional needs on skylights and solar. Quick to respond by Vincent V. Over the Yelp messaging, thus I didnt give 1 star. However I was at home waiting for my appointment from 3-5pm, but no on called or came for my gutter installation quote. They even used a fancy calendar scheduling link so it was synced with my Google Calendars, seemed cool since I didnt have anyone else use it through the Yelp message. Thought they were really on top of it. Maybe just a fluke with my appointment, however left a bad taste for me. Available, affiable and able... read more
