Communication was easy and done through text for the most part after I called to get more info. Their rates were much better than a lot of other movers and booking the appointment was easy. I paid a $50 deposit to secure my slot and the $50 was applied towards my overall cost. I was able to choose if I wanted 2 or 3 movers as well, but went with two since we had about 12 items total that we needed help with. We moved from a 3rd floor apartment to a house. The day of the move the movers were going to be about an hour + late, but this was communicated with us once I asked for an eta around 12:10pm. They provided me the reasoning along with pictures of the route they would be taken and were apologetic so no problem there. Apparently a customer was having payment issues which delayed their departure. They even offered to have the movers eat while driving to try and make up time, but I let them know they could stop and eat NP since moving is such a labor intensive job. Once the movers arrived, they confirmed the quoted pricing with me and got straight to work, FAST. They were friendly yet focused and like I said, got straight to it. They asked us if we wanted them to wrap certain pieces of furniture and made sure to take what we asked. They were careful when maneuvering through the door ways and just overall. I think they had most everything done and loaded in less than 45 minutes. After arriving at the house, the same continued. Quick, effective moving with communication and they placed everything where we wanted. While I was thanking one of them for the help, they even thanked ME for the opportunity! Y'all are doing ME a favor. Fernando and Jose were excellent. My wife even said to be sure to keep them / G&G movers noted for future needs. I highly recommend them for any moving needs!

Disappointing Experience with Inflexible Policies…read more I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. I reached out to them for a move and placed a deposit as required. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide the services I needed, but despite that, they refused to refund my deposit--stating their policy only allows refunds if they are late. This kind of rigid policy makes absolutely no sense when the company cannot meet the customer's needs, regardless of whether it's a last-minute change or not. Life happens, and reputable businesses understand that flexibility is a part of customer service, especially in an industry where schedules and logistics often change unexpectedly. What's even more frustrating is that they refused to take any responsibility for the situation. They treated it as if it was entirely on me, rather than acknowledging that they were unable to deliver the service as promised. Other moving companies I've dealt with in the past have been far more understanding and customer-oriented--willing to refund deposits when they can't meet the agreed-upon terms. I would not recommend this company unless you're 100% certain your plans won't change and you're willing to risk losing your deposit even if they fall short on their end. There are plenty of other movers out there with fairer and more customer-friendly policies.

I moved from a two bedroom apartment on the second floor in Richmond, to Lubbock. I wish I could have brought them with me to Lubbock to help me unload too, lol! When I I picked up my truck and went back to my apartment, I was seriously doubting my choice in size of trucks. I kept thinking I messed up and should have gotten a bigger truck.
