I hired Iron Movers based on a quote of $230 for the first two hours and $80/hour after that. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from the start. Before even receiving a formal invoice or contract, I was asked to send a deposit upfront -- which felt unprofessional and risky. Only after pushing back did I finally receive the basic terms in writing. The movers then showed up over two hours late, arriving at 4:06 PM, with no clear communication about the delay. This caused unnecessary stress for my mother, who was left waiting, and completely threw off my plans for the rest of the day. Despite the delay being on their end, they refused to waive the third hour, which felt inconsiderate. On top of that, I was given two Zelle payment methods that didn't work. I eventually had to use an email address to send the payment, which added another layer of stress to the process. Disappointing Experience with Inflexible Policies I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. I reached out to them for a move and placed a deposit as required. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide the services I needed, but despite that, they refused to refund my deposit--stating their policy only allows refunds if they are late. This kind of rigid policy makes absolutely no sense when the company cannot meet the customer's needs, regardless of whether it's a last-minute change or not. Life happens, and reputable businesses understand that flexibility is a part of customer service, especially in an industry where schedules and logistics often change unexpectedly. What's even more frustrating is that they refused to take any responsibility for the situation. They treated it as if it was entirely on me, rather than acknowledging that they were unable to deliver the service as promised. Other moving companies I've dealt with in the past have been far more understanding and customer-oriented--willing to refund deposits when they can't meet the agreed-upon terms. I would not recommend this company unless you're 100% certain your plans won't change and you're willing to risk losing your deposit even if they fall short on their end. Great experience with Iron Movers. Quick response times and flexible availability. The two movers worked hard and moved my furniture diligently. They were running 40 minutes behind, however they let me know and started the time from when they arrived. Friendly and professional. Definitely recommend their services. read more

Was told when I booked them a month in advance that their movers are able to install tv on wall and that was not the case. One mover stayed on his phone the whole entire move. Not professional at all will never use them again When I booked y'all and asked do yall take down and install I was told yes and nothing was mentioned about it costing more. And if that was true then the guy that I talked to on the phone yesterday during the process would have also said that but he said they don't do that all. And considering that I paid for movers and asked about the installation says that the cost was not an issue. As I stated before y'all people are giving out wrong advise. 1. These guys recently moved my 3 bedroom home into a 5 bed. They came within the time frame with 3 guys and knocked it out in about 5 hours. It was good and all 3 guys were very nice and efficient, although 2 of them didnt really speak English, they understood and I didnt have a problem re-directing them to move the essential items and ignore all the other items, i didnt mind leaving behind to wrap up packing, etc. I pre-paid only $35 to schedule and they followed up a couple days before to confirm date/time and overall the whole move was a smooth as it could be! If I were to nitpick I would say they MAYBE could of tetris'd the truck a little better to fit more stuff, but it's totally understandable that I may have also had TOO much stuff, or oversized furniture/beds,etc. They wrapped dressers/drawers and dismanteled a bedframe and wrapped up items as needed to make sure they weren't damanged and documented everything with photos along the way. i wish i could give it 0 stars....1 is very generous....so i'm not one to bash a company, but here it goes..i had movers set for today at 1, i did reach out to have the time pushed back an hour due to the weather being really bad. i was told 2 pm was okay, never received any ETA text message, i reached out twice before 2pm to make sure they knew which way to get into my apartments and how to locate the building. at 2:16 i received a text stating the truck was stuck in the mud and they were waiting for a tow truck. a few minutes later someone reached out to tell me they wouldnt be able to service me until 530/6pm. i told then their needs to be something done about the lack of communication and the inconvenience they wanted to offer 10% discount. after going back and forth the only resolutions were A.10% B. move the next morning at 6am or C. try and find someone else that could assist them. I informed them i needed to be out of my apartment today being that it was the end of my lease term, 6am was not going to cut it, i work from 830am-6pm. i got another phone call stating the crane wouldn't make it until 7-8 pm to get the truck out the mud and they unfortunately had to cancel the move.... i would never book with this company. 0 stars read more
