I paid around $100 for my nails, and I've been trying to live with them for the past three days, but they look so bad that I'm actually going to another nail salon today to have them fixed. I even helped remove my old nails before she started because she was having difficulty removing them, yet I was still charged for the removal. I also asked if we could do a specific design, which was simply cheetah print and some lines, and was told they couldn't do it because they didn't have the supplies. I completely understand if a salon doesn't offer a particular design, but the quality of the nails I received was still extremely disappointing. Honestly, my 12-year-old niece could have done a better job. I don't like leaving negative reviews, especially for a salon I otherwise enjoy for hair, but for nearly $100, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I would not recommend getting your nails done here.

I came in with a terrible partial highlight - my first time every lightening my hair so I was a bit traumatized to say the least. Tiffany listened to me, made me feel assured and comfortable. Conversation was great and not forced. She was able to take my half formed idea and run with it. I was going from black to like a caramel throughout the balayage. Tiffany's service was realistic, affordable and timely. The results were BEAUTIFUL!!!! I mean seriously I looked just like all the Pinterest inspo pics I shared and she was even able to adjust them to my bangs which we couldn't find a starting reference picture for. I LOVE it!!! Also what they've got going on here seems great!! The music was perfect!! No yucky half chewed up magazines. Clean and fresh. The owner was present and stayed late in the evening. Took time to walk around and check in with all the stylists. Came off as enthusiastic, compassionate, prideful, dedicated and accountable. All the ladies were friendly to each other in a professional engaging way. They seemed excited and inspired by one another. Great creative, passionate and professional culture. I tend to not have any consistency in where I go for beauty services and now this without a doubt will be my spot! I wish I had a photo. Hopefully can add later.

Last week I made a mistake and wrote down my appointment time incorrectly. I thought it was at 12:00 when it was actually at 11:00. At 11:30, the salon called to let me know I had missed my appointment and immediately charged my credit card $160. I completely understand missing an appointment is frustrating and I take responsibility for getting the time wrong. What was disappointing was there was zero willingness to work with me, despite my history as a long-standing, reliable client. I offered several solutions as I only live 5 minutes away.  My appointments always take several hours so I suggested skipping my haircut and still coming in for my highlights. Lainee admitted she had double booked my appointment so at noon she was going to start highlights on her 2nd client (while my hair processed). I then offered to come in later when the other client's color was processing for my haircut (the original plan when she double booked us), but she told me that it no longer worked for her. I get I made a mistake, but at this point it just felt like charging me a $160 fee was more important. I spent the following week trying to speak with Monique, the owner, hoping we could find a reasonable solution. A $160 fee is a significant charge, especially when there were options available to work with me, but after waiting 5 days for her to call me back I've realized this isn't a business I want to continue supporting anyway. There are too many great salons in the Broomfield area that provide great service AND appreciate their clients.

She actually made time after the salon closed so I could bring my "Fight Club" ladies for a shave party. She turned a sobering event into a beautiful memory of friendship, love and solidarity. I am NED now, praise God. Cherishing this and so many other memories. Oh- and the actual salon styling and color are the best in the city too! (Now that I have hair again ). How could it not be when it isn't just treated like a job but a true calling and an expression of love?
