Delaney is the best!!!! I've been struggling finding a hair stylist who listens to what I want and has the expertise to get it done. She is very professional, very informative, and overall just an amazing stylist. She has cut and colored my hair multiple times now and I refuse to see anyone else. I highly recommend Delaney to anyone who's needing a fresh new look. read more

I had a good experience with Michelle in the past, however her schedule was full and the front desk receptionist recommended Carol. I have thick, curly hair. I had an angular lob that had grown out, so all I wanted was a trim in order to even out the ends and bring the length up to touch my shoulders. I told Carol that I had existing layers, but I didn't want the layers to go too high on my head because I wear my hair naturally curly. I even showed her a picture of what I wanted. I ended up with a mullet with one side longer than the other. Carol kept saying my thick hair needed to be thinned out, so she created 2 inch layers that encircled my entire head. I cannot even side part my hair because the layers are so short and they stick straight up when I try to do that. I would think that creating short layers makes thick, curly hair appear thicker, so I don't know why she did that. I went back and had it fixed by Kathy, who was absolutely wonderful. I do not recommend Carol for curly or thick hair. She just graduated from hair school and needs more training. I feel she should have declined to cut my hair if she didn't know how to cut curly hair. I'm still rating the salon as 4 stars because I had a great experience in the past with Michelle and Kathy did an amazing job making Carol's work into an actual bob read more

Had a great first experience with Amy. Second time she was not available so I scheduled an appt with Michael, as the receptionist told me he is at the same level and is good with thick/wavy hair. I asked for a simple trim with some long layers and shaping around my face. When I got home, I noticed my layers in the back are MULTIPLE inches shorter than my hair and the face framing is so chunky. Not to mention he couldn't even finish straightening my hair in the back... I will say the manager was very helpful in processing a return once I told him about my experience and sent him photos of my haircut. I will return to this salon due to this, but would not recommend booking with Michael. read more

I have been coming here for 15 years and have never had a bad experience. The stylists and estheticians are highly trained technically and excellent with their customer service. The whole atmosphere is warm and inviting with lots of happy faces and customers every time I come in. Marina, Annalese, Callie and Maya are all excellent! HIGHLY recommend! read more

So I got a gift certificate from my kids for center salon, and spa, I finally went to use it yesterday, and I had the most wonderful experience. First of all the salon is absolutely gorgeous, very clean and buzzing with people, you got a love that also the people that work there are absolutely gracious, and I appreciated that. My appointment went very well, my gal Cali was fantastic with my wax , tint and my facial, was lovely and very relaxing and today I'm glowing, soft, and just more beautiful than I was when I walked in. I highly recommend this spot... I love a place that's buzzing with people read more

Awful customer service and treated me awful. This was a while ago. I think the stylist was Kelly. Lost a customer forever.

I had to leave an update, emphasizing just how great Marina is! I have been going for her services for over a year now and she is consistently wonderful in her work. I took the plunge last fall to color my natural hair with fashion colors and she did an amazing job. I've had two different color looks at this point with her and her technique didn't damage my curls at all while achieving color that really pops! The fade-out stage is also minimal - first with cool tone rainbow and now with red, both styles faded in a way that didn't look "cheap," unlike how some other fashion colors fade. I also wanted to highlight how great her curly cuts are! She has updated her curly technique and even though I loved my first visits which were pre-update, her new technique is even better. I have had issues in the past with cuts from other salons looking wonky after the standard 3 month grow out and just suffered through them as I tried to save money. Marina cut my hair this past February and now in August, it still holds its shape as well as it did in February, despite being quite a bit longer now. If you are a curly-head in the Denver metro area, you HAVE to visit Marina! read more

I have been going to this salon for over 10 years and I looove it - never a bad experience. New customers should know that prices vary based on a stylist's length of experience at this salion. But the "lowest level" stylists are still immensely talented! Currently see Adeliah & she is amazing. Photo is from a past experience with a different stylist. read more

Call me crazy but when I pay $72 for a cut (or any amount), I expect the length of my hair on the right and left sides of my face to be the same - and the bangs to be even. Nope. I overlooked not getting color because "it wasn't left on long enough". I even overlooked the cut not looking like any of the photos I showed Justin. However, I cannot overlook the uneven bangs and uneven lengths. Literally the worst cut I've had in decades and now I get to spend additional money to have someone else fix this mess. read more

Marina was amazing, she balayaged my hair for my wedding and it came out so good! I'm going to have an updo so she made sure to take my hair style into consideration while doing the color. I wanted to match the colors to my natural hair color and she was able to find the right tones of lighter and darker pieces to make that happen. She is the best hair stylist to go to for any balayage needs. read more

Hayley Parker, you're amazing! My hair is beautiful and healthy, thanks to you. I can't thank you enough for making me feel pretty again! Ladies... please schedule with Hayley and give her a little freedom in your color/style. Fourth appointment in a row where I was called because they were behind. This time they waited until 40 minutes before appointment to say so. Stop for errands only to get a call they have canceled my appointment. AFTER I DROVE ACROSS TOWN!! Same person that messed things up, hailey refused to put manager on the phone to cover her screw up!!! Know these "running late" calls have resulted in the loss of other customers because ive heard their angry calls as well. Great way to LOSE BUSINESS ladies. read more

Love Carol! I have short hair and she trims and styles it perfect for me every 5 to 6 weeks.

Came here for my first haircut in over a year and it was awesome! I've always been very particular about my hair so finding a high rated salon with experienced stylists was so important for me. I picked Aimee and I'm so glad I did! She gave me the longer layers that I asked for, listened to what I wanted, and didn't make any decisions about my hair without asking. I came out feeling like a new person thanks to her and all of the sweet staff here! The salon itself was also very clean and has a peaceful atmosphere. They gave me a new customer goodie bag too! It feels like they really care about their clients. I'm already excited for my next salon day! read more

Centre Salon & Spa - Westminster is clean , has great customer service, and has been my go-to salon for the past few years. Started my balayage process with Justin who is amazing! Will be back again in 2 weeks to lighten it up. Highly recommend this salon! read more

This was a great experience! Abigayle is an amazing stylist! She did a hair full of meticulously placed foils with two different colors. I will post photos!! I also appreciated that she let me work and didn't talk my ear off the whole time. I know that some people enjoy a chatty stylist but there is a limit. I feel like she was very respectful of my time. She also gave me an arm massage while I was toning which was a very welcome surprise for someone like me who has a hard time relaxing. I did have to wait for some time to get this appointment but it was well worth the wait. I will be back! My only criticism is the constant Christmas music when it's not even December yet. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas music, but maybe some regular music mixed in would help. Photos are compliments of the stylist herself. read more

I recently moved to the area, so I decided to try my luck with a new salon. Which can be risky! But I had a great experience here. They took a lot of precautions because of COVID, so I felt safe. I have been going to Centre Westminster for over 5 years. The staff is always warm and welcoming and provide great customer service. I have used Jamie as a stylist the whole time I have been going to the salon. She is knowledgeable, experienced and I can't imagine going to anyone else. I have natural curly hair, which can be hard to manage but Jamie is trained and I have never regretted seeing her. She is respectful and gives me new ideas of what to try but also respects me if I stick to a pattern. I look forward to every appointment! read more

I have been coming to Marina for cut and color for several years. She always does a great job with my hair, but also listens to what I like or what I would like to change and has great suggestions to achieve my next look. I've been going to this salon for over 35 years and always been very happy with the results. Not this time. Because my usual stylist retired, I saw Carol. She supposedly used the same hair color formula as my former stylist but instead of ending up with dark blond, I ended up with very very dark brown. Not even close to what I expected. Very unhappy. read more

I previously had an addiction to aveda salons, simply because I love the product and generally had a really good experience with their stylists. So, that's how I came to Hair Technology - when I lived in Thornton, this was the best and closest option to my house. I went twice. Once for cut and color. I had a more novice stylist. We got along great, but it wasn't until I got home that I realized I was a little zebra-stripey. I'm totally on board with the fact that I have fine, thin hair so maybe it needs to be treated special or something, but I just did not like that she probably saw that the color showed up strangely and styled it as to hide the weirdness. So I went back for touch ups, not totally trusting her to do a good job. She didn't. And, so, I haven't been back. Again, I've been to a lot of salons. I get that the experience is different every time depending on who you have as a stylist. Over the years I've learned - it pays to choose someone that has a lot of experience, even if it costs more. Also, I thought the receptionists here were a little snooty. Especially when I went back for touch ups. read more

I was definitely nervous about coming to this salon because of all the negative reviews, but it was a lesson for me to not always (just mostly) judge places by what I read of them on Yelp. Alas, I gave them a try based on a friend's good experience there. The few times I've been to this Aveda shop, I've had a very positive experience. The place has had significant management turnover, making it a pretty strenuous environment to be for the staff, but many have turned out to stay saying they did because they really enjoy who they work with. This is a huge good sign to me. After all, if you love who you work with, it makes it a better place to be and you put out better work, right? I've seen two stylists here and both have been fantastic, listening to my needs and taking time to understand the weird behavior of my hair. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair style (that they created) and it is sooooo easy to care for, which is something that I almost never say (having to spend more than 5 minutes is too much for me with hair, plus I'm handicapped at doing my own very well). The best part of this shop, besides the great cuts that get me lots of compliments, is the fact that the stylists are so friendly and they make it a very enjoyable experience. The only folks that haven't been the most friendly and welcoming have been the front desk folks, and that's hit or miss. Give them a chance. I've been pleasantly surprised; maybe you will too. read more

The best hair salon around! Anneliese has the most positive, upbeat energy and I always look forward to seeing her. Highly recommend!

I would not suggest this salon any longer-I had been going here for months seeing the same person.I recently went in for a root touch up prior to my honeymoon and she destroyed my hair. The picture on the far left is what she originally did around Valentine's Day of this year. The middle picture is what happened when I went in Monday for a root touch up and the far right is her excuse for fixing it last night. It will take multiple times to truly fix this and there is no excuse. I have never had issues with my hair taking color or anything and I've been highlighting and lowlighting my hair for over 10 years and never had an experience like this. So disappointing.I still had to pay for this also- not the correcting but the original. I will post a picture in the photo section. read more

I only use Aveda products because I believe in their brand. I come here because of the kindness of the folks who work here.

I looooove this place. It's a far drive for me, but totally worth it! Corey Dennis has been cutting my hair for the past 6 months and I'll never go to anyone else. From the moment I met her, I knew we were gonna be friends :) She made me feel right at home and confident that she would give me a great cut to my vision. The salon itself is beautiful, clean, organized and smells soooo good. They offer you tea, coffee (I recommend the tea, so so good!) or water during your cut and give one amazing head massage with peppermint oil that is to die for! Justin is a color PRO. Since moving to Denver, I've struggled to find anyone I trust to highlight my hair after more than a few attempts ended in damaged hair and just icky color.
