I especially liked that he didn't pressure me to color, unlike the last stylist I went to. The true test of a haircut for me is whether I can wash-and-wear without styling and blow drying. This do can hold its own without much effort. Of course, it looks ten times better when Billy gets his hands on my wet hair and blows it but sometimes a girl has to settle for what she can get. Once I asked her about the weave, she told me that she wouldn't do it on me because, in her words, "I don't think you would like it." Hmm... I thought it was up to me to decide whether or not I would like it? I did my research prior; I didn't show up ignorant, but I was treated like it. She then made it seem like the cost of the hair required was going to be a lot, as if that was a problem, which it wasn't. Didn't even matter since she already said she wasn't going to do it, but I was offended she thought money was an issue while knowing nothing about me. When discussing tape-ins, she said she doesn't offer maintenance on them because she can't charge what she feels she should. But she offers application of them...then what? Your client has to go elsewhere after that? Doesn't make sense. I was quite annoyed at that point and eager to leave. Because of this experience, I feared approaching other stylists for a sew in out of fear of rejection. I then saw another stylist and went with a technique I hated and wasted money on hair and services. Fed up, I contacted other stylists to do what I originally wanted. Luckily, I've found many amazing stylists who are more than willing to do my weave without hesitation or false assumptions. There is nothing wrong with my hair and no reason why I was told "no" other than Natacha's desire to think she knows more about me than I do.
