I got compliments from a lot of passersby on my way home - I'm so happy to find her! Update - I can tell the hair is of good quality - after several washings and torture sessions with the blow dryer, curling iron and flat iron - the hair still looks and feels soft, glossy and bouncy. Pricing - Good hair extensions are not cheap. Some salons charge in the 4-figure range as they take hours to put in. ( quality hair + hourly charge = $$$) So having said that, Claire's prices are reasonable when compared across the board.

I have been searching for the right extension specialist for a while now. I was diagnosed with Graves a few years back and ended up losing a lot of my hair. And it just never grew back the same way. My own hair is very thin and it grows out really thin. So I researched all different options and tape-in extensions were the way to go, only finding the right specialist wasn't easy. I did try them once, the girl who installed them, did an awful job, they looked super fake and fell out within a few short weeks. So I kind of lost all hope. Recently I decided to give it another try, since tape-in hair has changed quite a bit. She listened to everything I said during the consultation but also gave some much needed advice. The end result was so beautiful I was completely shocked. The highlights and spray tan looked so natural like I had spent the summer at the beach, without all the sun damage. For the hair color, she used an organic color with natural plant extracts that gave a subtle lift without any brassiness. She used several techniques, including balayage and ombre. Not only were the highlights incredible, but the makeup was also flawless. She has done several editorials and it shows in her attention to detail. The makeup was HD and only the finest quality. I text her to get in contact with her she did respond in a timely manner she even recommended a hair supply store S&h in Glendale where I could purchase extensions from. I did just that. I then contacted her to make an appt which I was very excited about. I drove 1 hour and a half in traffic for this lady. Upon arriving not only did she give me the wrong adress 14801 which was a senior home. She didn't show up!!!! I text her numerous times after no response I headed home. On the way back she text me she had an emergency and that she was willing to make it up to me so I gave her a chance. She told me she would show up friday 11/20, she never made it. Again after numerous texts and asking her to pls stop leading me to believe she was going to make it she now PROMISED to make my appt (she would come to me) Saturday morning. It's 11:37 am, I am still waiting. I've reached out to her and she is not responding, I've left her voice mails and no answer. This was very unprofessional behavior she lied to me and I wasted my morning thursday, Friday and today based on her word which obviously to her means nothing.
