We decided to go to my favorite restaurant to celebrate! Unfortunately we had a terrible experience that lasted 2.5 hours and would rather not return to this location. We ordered a bottle of wine and bread which took one hour to receive. My wine glass was dirty so the server brought me a new one in which I had to ask for another glass to make up for mine. The server had way too many tables then ended up having a large party in a separate room. We ordered and our food was brought out like we were at a fast food restaurant. Plates collected without any of them ever removed or asked how our items were. The salads were very minimal for how they usually appear and taste. We both ordered lasagna which was great, but needed more sauce as it was just noodles and cheese. As a couple nearby left they were telling us how their experience and food was not great either. For being a more upscale Italian restaurant they should take pride in assisting their staff when busy and caring about their customers. The server brought our check and used a discount on my rewards. She brought the credit card slip which said one amount then told us it will show a different amount after it goes to our bank. We checked our online banking and she was incorrect. We waited to ask our server and gave up then went to the host stand to speak with a manager. The host asked two different managers for assistance and we waited for fifteen minutes for one to come talk with us. The male manager did not have a name tag and became very defensive and rude. He finally said he would tear up the receipts and walked away during our conversation. This was the most rude action a restaurant manager as ever done! Due to this terrible experience with service and management we will not return to this location. So we have eaten here a few times and this by far is the worst service we have ever had. Began by not letting us sit in a booth with two children. I hate to be rough during rough times, but the food was not great. Portion size on the chocolate cake is very small and it looks like it either comes frozen or pre-made out of a box. I thought it was going to be a regular slice of chocolate cake. It was one of those small little bundt cakes. Very rich and chocolate sauce decent. But portion feels kind of low for $8. Pizza is margherita style and also very small. Taste is above average, perhaps somewhere around a Dewey's Pizza. But, the amount of sauce and cheese is so low that it dried out before getting here. Just a 1/4th cup more cheese and it woulda been much better. It was also oversalted to make up for this lack of substance. Crust is *close* to being above average, but could still use work. It was chewy instead of crispy on the bottom (needs to be perfectly both at this price point...). 30 more seconds in the oven and a bit more toppings on top and this pizza would have come out MUCH better. I MIGHT try it again in a pinch, it's honestly really close to being okay. It would be cool if there was a good local option for margherita style pizzas. They just didn't make the food perfect. We used to eat at Bravo's all the time but due to Covid tried their curbside pick up. If I could give zero stars for their curbside pickup I would. Twice I waited over 15 minutes from the time I was told it would be ready. Twice I had to go in to get it. Some curbside pickup. Once I even had the employee hang up on me. Once I was told by the manager I would get a refund from her for the inconvenience. And it never happened. Been over a month now. I even wrote to their headquarters and the above mentioned manager to no avail. Totally ignored. There are plenty of other Italian restaurants in the Dayton area. They will be getting my business from now on, certainly not Bravo's. read more

I think since the Lockdown things have changed drastically here. Had lunch for two on Saturday afternoon. Both entrees had pasta that was VERY al-dente, basically undercooked. The meatballs were sub-standard. The chicken was mediocre. Service was okay. But for this experience with such low quality we paid $50. It just wasn't worth it. read more

I've been to this Bravo many times through the years, and I'm consistently disappointed. Their prices are high for the amount and quality of food you receive. Vegan options are limited, and the food is overly salty. Even omnivore family members found it difficult to find something to order. We did not realize they discontinued their brunch menu, otherwise we probably would have gone somewhere else is last time. Being the only restaurant my 97 year old grandma usually goes to (Deerfield location in mason, oh) I decided to treat myself last week on my lunch break. Come to find out half the menu is gone! Super disappointed. Like when you take a drink and you think it's sprite and it's water disappointed. I got over my usual being off the menu and got calamari TOGO. MISTAKE. I was in Ohio for a business appointment with someone who lived in a more remote outlying town outside Dayton. I asked him where he would like to go for dinner, adding, "We can go anywhere you want." I've been going to Bravo's for years, it's always been one of my favorite restaurants, until the last few years, it has consistently gone downhill. Saturday was the last straw, I took 4 of my grandkids to dinner there, two youngest ordered pizza, which was fine. I ordered Caesar salad and pasta woozy, which was watery and flavorless, it also had a big clump of hard pasta in it. My granddaughter had chicken marsala, which she couldn't eat because the chicken was burned, my grandson who doesn't like pasta, ordered a $35 New York strip steak, he ordered it medium rare, it was so rare that it was cold in the middle. Being polite children that they are, they didn't tell me until we had left the restaurant. needless to say that will be my last trip there. read more

My wife Loved her Chicken Marsala. My lasagna was 'ok'. Really disappointed in the limited menu. We had lunch here a few months back, and they had some really nice options. Now limited and fairly standard. Service was mediocre at best. Bread for appetizer didn't come out very timely We were checked on very little after someone from kitchen brought food out. Other servers were moving and doing well. Prices were higher end of average but when you add in $4.50 or so for a soup or salad it climbs quick! Nothing comes with the entree. The only thing you get is breadsticks and flavored olive oil. No prices on menu for beer. They brought me a bottle and a glass with it half poured which was ok. They charged $4.25 for the beer which I guess is average. Atmosphere was good but could have been better if they didn't have some kick boxing show on the one TV on our side and gold on the other. Not the best for a higher end Italian restaurant. It would be ok for a sports bar but not Here. We might go back some day but the wife will have to convince me because she liked the Marsala. I'm not ashamed to say that I'm a big fan of Bravo and have been for years. The food is leaps and bounds above Olive Garden, Carrabba's or Macaroni Grill. Fresh ingredients, great presentation, and the interior of every Bravo I've been to has been exceptionally clean and beautiful. We went to the Dayton mall location today on a Sunday at 1:00pm. Even though there were tons of tables empty, we were told there was a 30 minute wait for some reason yet we decided to stay anyways. We were finally escorted to our table 20 minutes later, and again: tons of empty tables. Guess they didn't want to overload a waiters section, but the lobby was getting packed with people waiting and it came off a bit rude as a paying customer. After that customer service hiccup, however, everything else went smooth and the food was great. My husband ordered the grilled chicken chopped salad which is always delicious: the spicy nuts and gorgonzola really pop with the sweet dressing and thin slices of chicken. I had the grilled mahi mahi over zucchini, cous cous, snap peas and arugula. So healthy yet so flavorful! The fish was grilled perfectly. They also have the best complimentary warm bread and dipping oil which is always hard to resist filling up on. Our waiter was very busy but still super friendly, so overall it was another great visit to Bravo and I would recommend this restaurant (any location) to all. read more

I was in Miamisburg last summer for work... was passing through with my 2 sons. We had no idea where to eat but decided to give Bravo! a try. It was just my college-age kid and myself since the younger decided to hang at the hotel. It was a fabulous meal. The server was excellent and provided some great suggestions since it was our first time there. Service was very good -- not too fast and not too slow (though we did arrive just before the evening rush). All the food was terrific. It was a bit more expensive than your typical Carrabas or Olive Garden but sooooooo much worth it! The place is so good that even though I don't need to stop for business, I will be stopping again this year so we can eat here. Visited this restaurant for a rehearsal dinner so my experience was a little different than normal and we also had a choice of food. The rehearsal dinner was in their private room and it was lovely---we all say at 1 large table with 2 dedicated servers . We were offered an option if ceasar salad or a salad with blue cheese, etc... I chose the ceasar and it was solid. Pretty average but solid. For the entree I had the Pasta Bravo. It was really really excellent. I do wish it was slightly less " red peppery" but otherwise it was great. My husband had the bone-in pork chop and it was excellent!! He says it was one of the best pork chops he'd ever had. I agree---and I don't even tend to lime pork! It was very moist and the mustard sauce/glaze really put it over the top. For dessert my husband and I stuck to our own desserts and were both really satisfied. I had the white chocolate bread pudding with fresh berries and a scoop of vanilla gelato. It was sooooo good ! I want to like this place. I've been a few times for various occasions. It's nice that they take reservations. However, I just don't see the value. We went tonight (on a Monday), the restaurant was maybe half full, if that, and while there seemed to be plenty of staff, I'd say the food was slower than expected. I wouldn't mind waiting except that my food still came out cold, and lacking in flavor. From my vantage point I could see all the food sitting under the lights. I'm assuming the kitchen just couldn't time orders right so that meant some of the food was sitting there for a while, waiting for the rest of the order. Even with a $15off coupon, dinner was still $45 for 2 adults and 1 kids meal, no drinks. Overall extremely underwhelmed and likely will not go back. read more

If you take efforts then you might discover few mushrooms pieces. Before pasta they also served bread roll which was toasty from outside but fluffy inside and olive oil. I'm always hesitant to dine at chain Italian restaurants but I had an American Express offer to dine here at a discount and gave it a try. I can honestly say that this was one of the better Italian meals I've had in some time so coming here was a pleasant surprise. The menu offers something for everyone and I went with the Lobster Ravioli. Service was quick and the meal was delicious. Our server was attentive but not overly so. Manager had to correct our bill because the server did not know the menu & had it wrong. He was argumentative about being wrong even though there manager said he was absolutely wrong. The food was GOD AWFUL. Ordered the calamari and it tasted like coated rubber. It did not even resemble calamari. The oil sauce for the bread was unrecognizable and clearly had a very inferior olive oil base. I was with three other people and all our entrees were abysmal. We were very upset to hear that the beavercreek location closed down by our house. We decided to take a drive to the Dayton Mall location and we were not disappointed! Went about two weeks ago for my husband's birthday dinner, the table we were seated at had napkins and bread bins on the floor nearby...they were all out of shrimp which was included in 3 of the ticket items so we had to improvise. The food is always good. I love the fresh bread and dipping oil. I always get the mediterranean salad (which isn't on the dinner menu) without cheese (I'm vegan). Make sure to get the balsamic glaze. It does make a difference. My husband typically gets the filet mignon. Some locations serve better mashed potatoes than others but he has always been happy with the cook on his steak. The wait staff always waits until he makes the first cut to be sure it is cooked to his specification which he appreciates. If you arrive hungry the zucchini fries are a great starter. read more

I have been dealing with allergies and did not feel like cooking. So, I initially placed an order on Door Dash for my daughter, and it came ICE COLD. I called the restaurant, and the Manager was fantastic. Not only did he recook the order. He personally delivered it to my home. Plus, he included a bowl of soup, salad, and bread. There are a couple in the Detroit area that I have passed but never stopped. Not anymore though. I was thinking about trying the house specialty Chicken Parmesan. Since I haven't been here I asked the waiter how good it was. I told him I was considering the Chicken Parm and the Pork Chops. I took his suggestion, the Pork Chops. Straight from the menu: BRAVO!'s Classic Grilled Pork Chop* Thick glazed chop with herb butter sauce, seasonal vegetables and Tuscan mashed potatoes $15.79 Of course no veggies. The pork chops were outstanding. Grilled to a white meat juicy texture. The glaze was outstanding. Mashed potatoes, well nothing fancy, just good. Nothing like a good beer and chops to top off the business day! I will be trying a Detroit area store. read more

We recently started going here again on occasion and I have to say, for a chain I am impressed. They are always very friendly here and the service is really good. They have two patio sections and a really nice bar area. They have a decent selection of wines and offer half off bottles on Sundays. I take advantage of that and get the Franciscan Magnificat. Regularly $70 The menu offers a nice variety. Pizza, pasta, and a broad selection of other entrees. The pizza is wood fired. My favorite pasta dish is the Fra Diavolo. Last time I tried a braised beef ravioli. The beef was braised in Chianti and had a nice browned butter sauce. I think Dayton struggles to present a good Italian offering. Could Bravo be the best we have to offer? Maybe. read more

Came here on a busy Saturday night after experiencing one of the worst customer service episodes in my life at the nearby PF Chang's (See my review on Yelp for that). Fortunately, the service here did not disappoint at all. We were greeted immediately, and were given enough time to review the menu -- we never felt rushed even though it was busy. She remained attentive throughout the meal. The food was good by chain standards, but my girl and I are admittedly Italian food snobs -- we've had some of the best ever -- so take my words here with a grain of salt. Speaking of which, the Verduta pizza tasted quite salty ... not my favorite. The Chianti-braised beef ravioli was MUCH better. The berry cake for dessert was a bit pedestrian. But overall, pretty good for a chain ... I'll choose this over Olive Garden ANY day. read more
