But those garlic bread rolls absolutely stole the show! Warm, soft, fresh, and oh-so-tasty. Seriously, I could have made a meal out of those alone! I enjoyed a glass of wine with my pasta, and of course, I couldn't resist ordering a pizza as well. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Our server, Summer, was wonderful--friendly, professional, efficient, and attentive. She checked on us throughout our meal without being overbearing, and her dinner recommendation was delicious. Another nice bonus: they offer a small discount when paying with cash, so it's worth bringing some along if you have it. Between the delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and excellent service, this was such an enjoyable first visit. It definitely won't be our last--and I'm already looking forward to those garlic rolls again!

First thing to know: they don't take reservations, so plan to arrive early. But if there's a wait, don't worry, it can actually be part of the experience! On Thursday through Saturday, check out the Waiting Room. Look for the door right next to the main entrance, head upstairs, and you'll find a great bar where you can relax while you wait. We started downstairs at the bar, and our bartender was amazing! She made a fantastic Old Fashioned. The only thing that could have made it better? Clear ice! You know I'm always looking for that! Once we were seated, we started with the Garlic Knots, and WOW, were they good! And here's a little insider tip: don't let them take the bowl when you're finished! There's some incredible garlic butter left in the bottom, and you're going to want that later! We also ordered the Margherita Pizza, and it was sooo good! For our entrees, we tried the Alfredo Lasagna, Baked Tortellini Lasagna, and Chicken Marsala. The Alfredo Lasagna was good, although I was hoping for a little more Parmesan flavor. The Baked Tortellini Lasagna, on the other hand, was fantastic, great flavor and definitely one I'd order again. The Chicken Marsala was also excellent. And whatever you do, get the Bread Service! It's a must-have. And remember that garlic butter I told you to save from the Garlic Knots? Yep... you're going to need it! Of course, you have to save room for dessert. One cannoli, please! And yes, it was the perfect way to finish the meal. The service was amazing, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere made the drive completely worth it. So, what are you waiting for? ROAD TRIP TIME TO EAGLEVILLE! One final hint: watch those speed-limit changes as you get closer to town! Let's just say the city has found a creative way to encourage everyone to slow down. Cheers!

Opened on September 15, 2026, we visited the establishment in only their second month of operation. But this was already a well-oiled machine on a late October night. Indeed, Chef Jose Serrato has done it again. After tremendous success with the original Serrato's (which which our family first fell in love), and the second Serato's in Maryland Farms being equally amazing, Jose's third Williamson County installment is another smash hit. The elegant dining room and impeccable service make any occasion special. As a lamb aficionado, a connoisseur of sorts, I'm going to say that the rack of lamb at Roots Prime is the best in the Nashville area! It's so tender, so flavorful and not gamey in the slightest. It's so expertly cooked! Wow!! The bread service is just as impressive as it is at Serrato's, the sourdough being baked to perfection here! The truffle mac side dish is very good, as are the scallops. You can't go wrong with any steak or seafood dish here. The desserts are all fabulous, including the difficult-to-find spumoni, very light and creamy yet flavorful. The cheesecake is also excellent, although I found the raspberry sauce a little too sweet for my taste. Now I really want to return to try at least a dozen other dishes! It's that good! Just make reservations well in advance! Roots Prime is extremely popular and deservedly so.

Unfortunately, the long-haired, mustached young man at the front desk rejected my request to sit at the bar indicating there were no available spaces, when I clearly counted 4 available bar seats. Fortunately, Sperrys quickly made a table available for me and I enjoyed two very nice lobster tails, all while receiving friendly and accommodating service.

Keep in mind, this is not NY style, I think they are based in the Midwest? Very thin crust, like a bar pie, which isn't my first choice, but had a nice char and the sauce was good. It's not sweet like a lot of places I've been to around here. The cheese was good as well, not too greasy. Very friendly wait staff, we got there just after opening, so it took about 10-15 minutes for the pizza to arrive. They have a nice covered outdoor seating area so plenty of room and it didn't feel like a full-blown sports bar, but it also didn't feel like a pizzeria. Probably has a different vibe at dinner. Overall a nice option if you like thin crust pizza, would go again. Oh, and first time visitors get a free cookie. 4 stars only because it seemed a little pricey for the amount of food but eating out anywhere is expensive anymore so there's that.

Food ok. Service great…read more Ambiance average. My husband and I decided to share a few items: a salad, wings, and a 16-inch pizza. The salad was pretty average and definitely not worth the $12.99 price tag--I could have made the same thing at home for about $3. The lemon vinaigrette was the standout, though; it was easily the best part of the salad. My husband had the house vinaigrette on his. The wings were $15 for about six pieces, which felt steep for the portion size. We ordered them with Buffalo sauce, which had a little kick. My husband usually loves hot sauces and didn't find them spicy at all, but we both agreed the smoky flavor was nice and set them apart from your typical wings. For our main, we went with the 16-inch Premium pizza. We enjoyed the thin crust, but overall it wasn't anything special. On the plus side, we had leftovers for another meal--and we almost ended up with a 12-inch instead, so paying the extra $8 for the larger size was worth it.

I walked in and originally ordered the Cajun pasta with meatballs, but at the last minute I thought, "You know what? Let me just stick with the original." So I changed my order to spaghetti with marinara sauce and meatballs. I get to checkout and my total is $32! I'm thinking, "Wow... that's a lot for some spaghetti." The kid at the register just rings me up and keeps it moving. Then when my food is ready, he hands me two pasta containers, my garlic bread, and says thank you. No bag. No utensils. No napkins. NOTHING. Like... I just spent $30+ and you're basically throwing the food at me and sending me on my way? As for the food, the spaghetti marinara was not all that, but I will say the meatballs were actually good. Since I had two meals, I reheated the Cajun pasta the next day--and honestly, I couldn't even eat it. It was SO oily that it was actually disgusting. Overall, this was a terrible experience. Definitely wouldn't recommend. If I could give 1 1/2 stars, I would. 1/2
