We love Brassica and all the vegan options: warm pita sandwich, salad, hummus, rice and lentils, falafel, baba ghanoush, roasted jalapeño cauliflower, roasted carrots, marinated eggplant, pickled vegetables (sweet, beets, cucumbers, radishes, cabbage), crispy, onions, and organic pita chips. The tahini and roasted red pepper sauce are vegan, as well as their fries. Cauliflower soup is vegan and my favorite thing is the tahini chocolate chip cookie! Best eaten at restaurant if getting the warm pita sandwich. Service fine. Music a little loud for our liking, particularly during busy times, but otherwise the vibe is on point.
1st time trying this location. Perhaps I'm comparing it to the other, but I was a bit disappointed with this visit. I tried the pita sandwich instead of the bowl I normally get. The brisket was moist, but sooo bland. I took it to go and by the time I got back to the hotel 15 mins later, the pita was so soggy that it completely fell apart. The pita was too mushy to eat. I had to use a fork to eat the interior. The veggies were fresh and the fries were good. I would be hesitant to return if I was ever back in the area.
This Brassica location never misses a step on service or food quality. The staff here is genuinely so friendly and works efficiently even when it is slammed. The food is reliably fresh and delicious. My favorites are the seasoned french fries and the minty pink lemonade. That said, they have followed the trend of increased prices and greatly reduced portions. Recently, the bowl I had was 90% rice and greens, with tablespoon portions of meat and toppings. You are not getting any value, but it will taste good!
Stopped in for a casual dinner a few weeks back. Place was pretty crowded for a weeknight but then again it was also 6:30 PM. The line was moving pretty quickly too for the amount of people that were there. I had not ordered at brassica in a long time, so I appreciate the staff giving me some reminders on which absence were which. I did get the bowl with the brisket. I also got several vegetables. The brisket was very tender and well cooked. My foot itself was pretty good, but it was relatively expensive I thought. I know it's probably in line with a place like chipotle, but I just didn't think it was anything amazing. That being said, would come back.
One place we miss when we moved from the area is Brassica. We always come when we are in town. For a vegetarian and vegan, this is a great meal. The falafel is very tasty (also not fried with any meat items, if you are picky like us). The pita is made fresh (oven is right there to see). The toppings are a great selection. Fries are a must. It is busy when we come, but the staff is quick and always getting fresh food out. The place is bright and bigger than the short north area (and free parking).
We had a tasty lunch at this popular place in Upper Arlington. A nice crowd at lunchtime but staff kept the line moving along. Despite the crowd, we immediately found seating. The room was nicely laid out and kept in clean condition. I had a baba sandwich with veggies. Fresh tasting a quite delicious. I especially enjoyed the extra seasoned eggplant I opted to add. The pita was still warm. Friendly staff and good food make Thai one a good lunch option.
[Lane Avenue] 6PM The good - Everything we had was very tasty. Food included a sandwich with hummus and chicken, a salad with hummus and falafel, fries, and hummus plate with falafel. Basically all of these things are variations of each other. All are very tasty. Especially like the pickled veggies and THE SAUCES- try them all. Special sauce especially. I had one of the beers on tap - I think it was Wheat beer. It was fine. Overall a good vibe. The room is clean, inviting, and the staff is friendly - and patience. The 'wish it was a little bit better' - Parking wasn't great. Actually came the day before and it was too packed, so we went elsewhere. Came back and got a spot. The line gets long/slow as each order needs some time to assemble. Not sure how to make it faster but the wait felt slow. This might be a hot take, but I thought the bread for the sandwich was just 'ok'. It was warm, fresh, etc, but it was a bit doughy for my liking. Maybe if they left it in the over for 30 more seconds(?) Portion on the fries was small...ie not really sharing-size. But they were really good...try with all the dips. A bit expensive too. If you're a fan of Cava, you'll really like this place. If I lived here, I'd come back often. You might feel out of place if you don't wear yoga pants/leggings.
I'm addicted go Brassica. Whenever I visit my friend who lives in colombus, I make sure we go here. The food is just sooo yummy. Got a falafel bowl this time along with their brassarita! Both were tasty- although the drink was a bit strong for me!
Brassica truly never misses. It's one of my favorite fast-casual Mediterranean spots. It is consistently fresh, flavorful, and reliable. The space itself is beautiful: clean and thoughtfully designed, with greenery, warm lighting, and modern tables that give it a cozy, welcoming ambiance. The service is always quick and efficient, and the quality of the food is amazing. I've tried the chicken, brisket, and falafel, and each protein is equally delicious in its own way. You can tell this place is run with care. They've perfected their system, and I've never had anything less than a great experience here.
Brassica is and will forever be a Columbus favorite for me and has been for many years. If you have not tried Brassica, you need to go. Every time I go I am always so happy with the food. It has so much flavor and you can tell the fresh quality of their ingredients. The fries are really good too and so is their tahini chocolate chip cookie! I crave their food regularly. You can't go wrong whether you pick the sandwich or the bowl. Go to Brassica period lol
This is the fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant of my dreams. If I could, I would open Brassica's all over California and Hawai'i. What is good? Everything! Brisket Hummus Bowl: The first time I got Brassica, I ordered this. . . with all the fixings- if it was on the line, I added it! Includes an organic pita that is light and airy. Falafel Salad: Comes with greens, and grains, and, of course, I added anything and everything. The pickled veg is so, so good. Must order a side of fries, a tahini chocolate chip cookie, and a minty pink lemonade that I mix soda water into to make it sparkly. The customer service goes above and beyond. If you're meeting up with friends you may want to check out the extensive and reasonably priced bottles of wine, beer on draft, or the Brassica margarita.
Reviews are largely positive. People highlight the fresh, flavorful food, customizable menu, must-try fries and cookies, and the inviting atmosphere. Most find the staff friendly and service efficient, though some report mixed service.

This is one of the best places to eat in Columbus. I try to eat there almost every time we venture that way. It is a 10/10 bowl of deliciousness. I like getting a bowl with chicken and various toppings! The flavors of the toppings are out of this world. Our children enjoyed the fries and the pita bread. I can't wait to return! I wish there was one closer to the Dayton area! read more

As I'm writing this the reader is probably at Chipotle so what I'm about to write is probably worthless. Nevertheless if you'd like a setup like Chipotle but with far SUPERIOR, ambiance, proteins, veggies, ingredients, drinks, alcoholic drinks, and last but not least CUSTOMER SERVICE then give BRASSICA a try. You can either get bowls, and sandwiches with fire roasted pita breads in house and also falafel as well. Think Chipotle but with Mediterranean items instead including brisket! Nothing I'm writing is gonna sway a Chipotle lamb and a college Psychological course should be written on how Chipotle got y'all in a stranglehold for some odd reason over MID food when you can get a HIGHER QUALITY for the SAME PRICE or LESS as Chipotle! read more
Amazing restaurant with fresh and healthy food. I have been in Columbus for the last month and Brassica is my go to take home 3 nights . The salad with hummus, chicken , veggies and special sauce is to die for. I also order the organic pita which is fresh and warm . You must try to believe . read more
Northstar on the front end of the trip, Brassica on the back end. Please, please bring this to Chicago area, specifically Naperville. Fast casual chipotle style, pick a bowl, pita, or hummus. Beef brisket is available until it's gone so went with that this time. Fresh pita, seasoned fries with a special sauce. My favorite toppings are the eggplant and cauliflower salad. What I would do to get those recipes! There are three locations in Columbus, that I know of, consistently amazing. read more

My absolute favorite quick food option in Columbus. Think Chipotle style bowls but for Mediterranean cuisine. They have the most fresh and flavorful food! I always go with a salad, you get so much food and you can add a warm pita on the side for a couple extra bucks. I highly recommend the lentil base, hummus, and chicken. For toppings you can't go wrong with the carrots, pita chips, and house sauce. The fries are delicious as well! read more

Beautiful, whole, quality food. Great selection of middle eastern and Mediterranean inspired bowls and sandwiches. Each and every option has delicious taste and perfect seasoning. Also, kind service and beautiful lighting and ambience. Whatever you get, I recommend the baba, the brisket and red pepper sauce! read more

My baby girl loves Brassica... I have been to the one downtown and enjoyed a meal there but I really liked this location... The building and decor are very well done so it is a neat atmosphere. The food is unique and always very good - it is like an upscale Mediterranean restaurant married a chipotle and had a kid. I must emphasize it is very good. I had the salad with brisket and baba with all the vegetables which was awesome. Baby girl had their pita with lamb bacon which was delicious. They have a cool selection of sodas. The service was off the hook awesome... Super friendly - super helpful - They also did a super classy job of putting up covid barriers where they look like they actually belong there and are well made which is representitive of the whole experience - first class - worth a visit read more

Brassica might be one of my all time favorite restaurants...EVER. I could live off of the fresh pita and hummus, and living six hours away is truly devastating. The first time I took my fiance here even he was unsure but now every single time we go home to Ohio this is at the top of his list to eat at. The staff is so friendly and while it's sometimes hard to find a seat during rush, it's well worth it. read more

I absolutely love brassica. Can't recommend highly enough. Every time I come back to Columbus, it is in my must-go-to list of restaurants. I was in town for the holidays and had to visit. Food is always the best. I always go with the sand which and falafel. They never skimp with any of the toppings and my sandwich is overflowing usually that I have to eat the first few bites with a fork. Their fries are a must-try, they put some seasonings on there. read more
An awesome build your own fast casual Mediterranean food option in Columbus. I'm so glad I picked this place for my one night in town! $12 including tax and tip for healthy, tasty, and filling food I got a build your own salad bowl (lettuce and rice base) with tons of toppings, including hummus, pickled cabbage (YUM), eggplant, grilled cauliflower, etc. honestly was a huge fan of every single topping, and the portions were big too. 10/10 would recommend Brassica read more

This is just like chipotle but it's Mediterranean food. The wraps are delicious. You get to choose from several proteins and vegetables. This is a very vegetarian friendly restaurant. This is a fast casual restaurant. The hot sauce is very spicy. I loved it. read more

This was my first time at Brassica and it was delicious. I loved how fresh the ingredients were and the unique ingredients were a great touch. I do wish they had some more common ingredient options as well though - onions or Kalmata olives would've been a great addition. A bit pricey but overall a great option for fast casual Mediterranean! We visit this location more than the other three. Always a crowd, especially on a beautiful windy day as it was Sun 24Apr22. I'm grateful they handle the food with grace and care and aren't so sloppy with preparing our meals. The only drawback I have is that it takes so long to move the line through. This Mediterranean fare tastes so delicious after all. We got salads. The hummus is the best I've ever had. So fresh, so creamy, so delicious. read more
Oh Brassica, you beautiful, beautiful unicorn of a restaurant. I'm so happy to see you spreading your wings throughout Columbus and I will be eager to dine at any and every location you open. Our community is really lucky to have you and your delicious eats. This location is a bit larger than the others. The dining room is big and open, and they also have a good-sized patio facing Lane avenue. They offer a fast-casual style experience and once you take a peek at the menu and decide on either a sandwich or a salad, you jump in line to build your meal. Honestly, every single offering they have is amazing. The variety of flavors are super creative, and they all go so well together. I always get a bowl with hummus and falafel. Their falafel is the best I've ever had, no lies. And as a vegetarian, I've tried a lot. Throw on their pickled cucumbers and radish, sweet beets, and pickled red cabbage, cauliflower, and spicy carrots, and you got a winner. Their hot sauce is also fire and anyone that enjoys spicy will love it. You also can't go wrong with their French fries. Dip them in their special sauce and you've died and gone to heaven. This locally owned restaurant is a sister to North Star Café and Third & Hollywood, and it's very obvious in their attention to detail and quality of food. Food - 5 stars. Food is delicious and consistent quality. Service - 2 Stars. Workers are always hesitant and give you a dirty look when you ask for more than one vegetable selection. I understand if you were to ask for more of one since they sell it as a side but it's called samplers for a reason. You should not have to leave the establishment feeling shame or guilt for getting a variety of vegetables. Price - 3 Stars. Definitely not in your normal fast casual restaurant tier pricing. A bowl/salad will cost you ~$15. Throw in fries and a drink that's easily over $20. Overall rating 3.5 Stars read more

When my cousin said "do you like Mediterranean food?" and I told her I did, she jumped at the chance and took me to Brassica for my maiden voyage. She described it as "Chipotle-Esque" which was a great way to explain it to a first-timer. You walk in and are immediately hit with the aroma of curry, garlic, and freshly-baked pita. From there, you pick if you want a salad or a pita, and then choose your protein (chicken, brisket, falafel, etc) and then go down the line to select your fixins. Everything was delicious and fresh. A nice accompaniment to my chicken salad with lentils, sautéed eggplant and tahini dressing was a cool and refreshing mint lemonade. I will definitely return, given the chance, and plan to IMMEDIATELY write a letter to get a location in Cleveland ASAP. (Ok so that last part may be an exaggeration, but trust me, it was delicious.) UPDATE: OMG. There's a Cleveland location in Shaker Heights!! read more
