    Shawarma Pita Platter Combo Dinner

This restaurant is extremely authentic and affordable. The Chicken Shawarma over rice was incredible. Very well seasoned and it came with one of the best tzatziki sauces I've ever had. The service here was the only downfall. They were not very welcoming. Although that doesn't really matter much to me. The food is great and the place is clean. I would certainly recommend it!

The food was delicious! I got the shawarma platter (which came with hummus, salad, and pita bread). Even though I could only get takeout since I went late in the day, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. As a huge Twenty one Pilots fan, it was super special to try a place featured in their music video. As someone who is half Greek, I appreciated the authentic and delicious Greek food. It was definitely worth the visit and would recommend this place!

My sister and I picked this up for lunch on a Friday. I got the chicken shawarma while she got the gyro. Filling but just okay. We also got hummus. Different flavor than what I'm used to but not for me. We also got some sort of spicy fries. Nothing special either. Fries with cheese and hot sauce. Good prices though!

Chicken Shawarma, just the right amount of seasoning!

Fantastic food, the servings are large and pickup was seamless. We ordered a shawarma platter, a falafel platter, chicken kabob and lemon chicken soup. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. The dishes came with potatoes and they were also delicious. My favorite was the lemon chicken soup. There used to be a restaurant called Fisherman's Wharf on the North side that had the best lemon chicken soup I ever had and I haven't found any to compare in over 20 years...until now. Next time I will order a bowl instead of a cup and an extra one for lunch the next day. It was the perfect consistency, thicker but no gloppy, with shreds of chicken, ,orzo pasta and a savory/tart lemon flavor. I am wishing I had some more right now, I will dream about this soup! The prices are also very reasonable with lunch and dinner prices available. Definitely adding this one to our permanent rotation!

Cute little restaurant. The owner seemed friendly. I loved the tiramisu. It was definitely the best part of my meal. My friend and I ordered the pastitsio & moussaka. The portions are generous & we both had leftovers. Both dishes were flavorful. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. I'll definitely be coming back again.

Located in a strip mall I've passed at least 40 times and thought, "I should stop in there!" Well, I finally did! The owner is very polite and accommodating. I dined in at lunch time on a Saturday and just wanted something light before donating blood. I ordered the tabboulah salad and the lentil soup. Both were very lemony. The tomatoes in the salad were very fresh but contained just a small amount of grain. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying a fish entree as they offered several options.

I like all the restaurants in this strip mall and Lashish the Greek has some of the best Greek food in the city. It's on Bethel Road which is known for its many ethnic restaurants. The owner is mostly a nice fellow who greets every customer as they come in. It's not a big dining area so a lot order carry out. The selections are mostly standard but there are a few signature items. I went with selections that any decent Greek restaurant would do right. It has hummus of course. This may not be that much to get excited over, but it helps you figure out how good they are. If they can't get the hummus right they can't get much else right either. The appetizer was a good size and was about $5. It was worth it and better than expected after experiencing lackluster efforts at other places around here. The appetizer was creamy and smooth, and had appropriate hints of garlic and lemon. It tastes good in the pitas and sandwiches. The falafel is also good. Another popular item is the fries. The regular ones were good, and they can come with feta and spices. I will be sure to come to Lashish the Greek again. It has some of the best Greek food in the city, and there's a lot of competition there. Whenever around Bethel and looking for something healthy but not too expensive, come visit.

We had the falafel salad and the Gyro dinner. With a tzatziki appetizer. The food was so fresh and absolutely amazing. Can't wait to come back and try something different. Also grabbed some baklava on the way out, very tasty.

Under new ownership and just not the same. Food was just ok, but not anything special.

It's been a minute since I had a gyro and King Gyros was 7 minutes away from where I was working…read more I ordered the traditional King Gyro with fresh cut fries and a Greek Custard pastry. Generous portions for the King and just the right amount of onion. Some places go too strong with the onion. The standout was the sauce! Just had a nice garlicky zing to it. The fresh cut fries were a little greasy but still good. The sleeper was that Greek Custard tho. When you walk in you have a case of temptations staring at you. The custard got my attention. Cold and dense custard wrapped in filo dough then topped with cinnamon and honey drizzle. Dang. This thing played with my emotions. Just so good and sticky. I would make a trip here just for this. It all came to about $22 with a can of Diet Coke and it hit the spot. The gyro was in the top 3 I've ever had, the fries I didn't really care for, the dessert selection I would make a special trip for. Solid 4 Stars

Came to DC for work and my coworkers listed off a few places to go for food. King Gyros for Greek…read morefood was a high recommendation. We drove over for an early dinner before leaving. Stephanie was at the register and she was quite entertaining while taking my order. I don't usually eat Greek food so I wasn't sure what to expect. She guided me through the menu and made a suggestion of the lamb gyro as the one I should try with feta cheese. I took her word for it and got the king size. Supreme seemed rather large. The line started getting long and a fellow patron advised I get French fries as well. About 10 minutes go by and Stephanie calls my order. She also recommended I add the fry seasoning. Adding the fry seasoning is a must as the fries aren't much without them. Rather small portion size to me as well for the price. The gyro however is large but way to much lettuce. The sauce is good. Overall it's a cool spot. Stephanie was the highlight of the trip for me. It's a one and done for me but cool if you're into Greek food.
