Lebanese Cauliflower appetizer and Kafta Kebab
    Geoff D.

The food is outstanding. The service is quick. The Lebanese Cauliflower is especially tasty. The kebabs (I've had the Kafta and the Beef on separate visits) are generous, juicy and filling. I'm a 4 rather than 5 stars for two reasons. First, informality is just fine for me. I don't require fine dining and the speed that comes with their set up is a plus. But at a place where one orders at the register and picks up your own silverware, plates, napkins, water glasses from a stand near the door, I do not expect to pay more formal dining prices. So $22.95 for Kafta kebab to $26.96 for beef kebob entrees is pushing my budget limits for making this a regular visit. Lamb chops are $32.95. Maybe the sign of times with price of beef these days but ouch. So open eyes - informal doesn't mean cheap. Second, the hummus was generous and tasty with olive oil drizzled on top. Yet the pita was both dry and room temperature. If it had come out of a bag at Kroger's I would have said, bummer but that is what I am paying for. Edible for sure but again, $13.95 for a standard app and then a mid 20s entree. Gets pricey in a hurry especially if buying for more than yourself. So if you are hankering for kebabs, quick, and tasty then it definitely works. But don't be shocked when you tap that card.

Great Lebanese food in Columbus! I picked up some dinner here and it did not disappoint. The location has plenty of parking nearby along with street parking. There is ample seating, and I love the quirky decor. The menu offer is a variety of vegetarian, chicken, beef, and lamb options to satisfy almost any diner. I opted for the solo platter which came with chicken kebab, ground meat kebab, and rice along with all the Lebanese, pickles and sauces . First of all the meat was cooked perfectly and the rice is very flavorful. Also, the portions were huge. I also got the lemon mint smoothie which was a perfect compliment to the meal.! service was quick! Overall, a great meal.

Habibi grill continues to provide excellent food for a reasonable price. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The staff is very nice and friendly and everything that we've eaten has been very good. A special shout out to the baba ghanoush (comes with lots of pita bread) and the lamb shank here (comes with a delicious dipping sauce).

Excellent food! Excellent Staff! Excellent Ambiance! The owner was very helpful with ensuring that our order didn't have any allergy risk of peanuts and tree nuts. The owner also checked with us to see how our food was. The baba ghanoush, hummus and bread were an awesome choice for starters! The baba ghanoush is the best we have ever had! The bread was warm and fresh! The roasted lamb, lamb chops and chicken tawook were our favorite entrees! The garlic sauce was so delicious! The rice was excellent and we loved the red cabbage, pickled turnips, red onion, pickle and tomato that came with the entrees! The water stations made it very convenient to get your own drinks and refills! Great photo ops in the restaurant!

I got the food from door dash, the shish tawook is good with tender chicken. Their seasoning is very light which I didn't prefer. Rice is good, it's turmeric from the smell of it. And pickle and cold sides are good.

Habibi Grill is my go to Lebanese restaurant in the city; it is SO good! Their service is super speedy and the food is consistently delicious no matter what you get. My absolute favorite item is the chicken shish tawook wrap, it's the best I've ever had! Their hummus is delicious, and adding shawarma beef or shredded lamb to it, is the ultimate hack for the best loaded hummus! The fattoush salad makes for the perfect side to share & makes for a great balancing and light bite with whatever else you may get. You need to give them a try!

Visiting Ohio for the weekend and found this place in DoorDash. Was ordering for a group and saw they had a combo platter on the app for $80. Filled us up with the rice given. The platter comes with one skewer of chicken tawook, chicken kafta, lamb kafta, and beef shawarma. Topped with pickled vegetables. The chicken tawook was tender and least dry of the bunch. The rest of the skewers were on the dryer side but had good flavors and grill. Went well with the pita and yogurt sauce. Unfortunately they forgot our hummus in the order. The baba ghanoush was solid and had a good eggplant flavor. The beef shawarma wrap was flavorful but the meat was dry. Decent delivery place for the area.

Walking into Habibi Grill it is underwhelming from the outside but once you open the door you can tell there was care put into the design. The staff was very attentive and immediately walked up to me to greet me. I was just there for takeout, it took a few minutes which is always welcomed that it's actually made to order. Kofta was full of flavor and the fries were golden and crispy!

I'm not sure where to start. I decided to treat myself to dinner. That's a rare financial splurge for me these days. It had been a while. While everything looked good on the menu, I wish I had read the reviews, especially the negative ones more clearly. I was thrilled to see the presentation my dishes came in. I ordered a half order of hummus, the okra stew, and Lebanese Knafeh. The hummus wasn't terrible, the presentation was beautiful. The saving grace was the olive oil, as that had a nice robust flavor. While the hummus was silky smooth, it lacked flavor. It was the most bland I've ever tasted. As for the okra stew, again, it was beautifully plated. And I love okra,.... I'm completely prepared for a somewhat gelatinous experience when folks don't know how to work with it well, but putting that aside, I honestly think the dish had been sitting in a warmer or food prep and reheated one too many times or something. There was a very mysterious tang on the back pallet and I highly suspect it was going / was bad. There really wasn't any meld of spices or flavor. Just bland tomato base with okra in it. But again, no flavor. Except for that distinct tangy funk of food turning. The yellow rice that accompanied the okra would've been the second best thing about the whole meal. But even then it really had no flavor. I'm not sure how you can do rice like that and have no flavor. I purchased the Knafeh dessert "to go" at the time of ordering my entrée and side. It arrived wrapped in saran wrap in a box with a ketchup packet type of syrup to garnish (sugar water, no orange blossom). I expected it to be ready to eat if I ordered it to go. Clarity on that might have been helpful. I'm kind of saddened by this because I would've liked to have actually had orange blossom syrup as promised on the menu. Also, the Knafeh is supposed to be layers of shredded phyllo but it was one solid block Saran-wrapped block of starchy Stuff. I didn't get much cheese flavor out of it either. While I ordered it to go, it still was supposed to have come with pistachios dusted on the top. That was not the case. While you order your own food, they do deliver it and clear the table for you. I don't feel like it was appropriate to basically force me to tip upon checkout. I could've opted for nothing or typed in a zero, but that also felt off. So this terrible meal sent me back about $46. I really wanted to love it. **Edit to Add: While I took home leftovers (basically everything except the hummus), I tossed them in the bin as the stew had definitely turned to the dark side.

Besides the lovely Instagramable decor, the food was delicious! My friend and I ordered the vegetarian plate which had fasolia, houmus, falafel, baba ganoush, grape leaves, fried cauliflower, salad and fresh pita bread. We also decided to order the chicken tawook which was served with rice, pickles and garlic sauce (my favorite anywhere I go!) the service was excellent as we had several of the staff members come to our table and ask us how everything was. I highly recommend this place!

The food was good. I had a feta wrap however it could have used some more flavor. It was lacking a little bit. The service was great and my food came out fast. The inside also looked nice. However I did think the food was a bit expensive compared to the portion size. I would come back however, I would not be a regular

We had an overall good experience at Habibi: the food was excellent, priced fair and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant provides counter service with the food delivered to the tables after you order. The ambiance reminded me of a fast casual place, with brighter lighting and serve-yourself water, plates and utensils. We ordered the chicken tawook and the kafta kabob (lamb and beef). We also got the vegetarian platter - which was a great sampling of appetizers. All the food was super flavorful and was presented beautifully. Just a note there is no alcohol on the menu but they have a good assortment of NA drinks. Overall we had a good experience, but it feels like the food quality deserves table service to elevate the experience.

I started with the Cauliflower Tahini Soup, followed by a build-your-own salad bowl, a Chocolate Chip Cookie, and a Minty Pink Lemonade. The soup had a rich, creamy texture, though I found it a little too salty for my taste. Not knowing exactly what to expect, I loaded up my salad bowl with lentils and rice, mixed greens, hummus, baba ghanoush, crispy onions, pita bread, chicken shawarma, brisket, sweet beets, pickled cucumbers, pickled radish, pickled cabbage, cauliflower tabbouleh, marinated eggplant, and finished it with Brassica's roasted garlic sauce and tahini. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and full of contrasting textures. The combination of crisp vegetables, savory proteins, and creamy spreads made for a hearty, satisfying meal that kept me full long after lunch. The Chocolate Chip Cookie was exactly how I like it--crispy around the edges with a slightly well-done finish and plenty of chocolate in every bite. To wash it all down, the Minty Pink Lemonade was the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and refreshing, complementing the bold Mediterranean flavors beautifully. Overall, Brassica is a great option for a quick, customizable meal made with fresh ingredients. While the soup wasn't my favorite, I'd happily return to build another salad and try more items from the menu.

From the moment we arrived, the service set the tone for what would become an unforgettable dining experience. Our server, Lacey delivered hospitality with the kind of effortless grace that can't be taught. She anticipated needs before they were spoken, guided us through the menu with confidence, and maintained a warmth that made our table feel like the only one in the room. Wine & Cocktails: A Study in Balance and Craft The wine selection was superb -- thoughtfully curated, expressive, and perfectly paired with the richness of the evening's dishes. The cocktails were equally impressive, crafted with precision and a clear respect for balance. Each sip felt intentional, layered, and celebratory. The Paella: A Showstopper But the true star of the night was the paella -- a dish so masterfully executed it deserves its own ovation. The rice was tender yet structured, infused with deep saffron warmth and kissed with just enough socarrat to make any purist smile. The seafood was impeccably fresh, each component cooked to its ideal texture. It was the kind of paella that silences a table, not out of politeness, but out of reverence. When the chef personally came out to greet us, it only reinforced what the dish had already made clear: this is a kitchen led by someone who cooks with both technique and heart. A Birthday Elevated My husband orchestrated the evening beautifully, and Sidebar rose to meet the moment with finesse. Our guests were genuinely impressed -- not just by the food, but by the seamless choreography of service, ambiance, and attention to detail. It felt less like a dinner and more like a curated celebration Final Thoughts Sidebar Columbus delivers the rare combination of exceptional cuisine, polished service, and heartfelt hospitality.
