We love Brassica and all the vegan options: warm pita sandwich, salad, hummus, rice and lentils, falafel, baba ghanoush, roasted jalapeño cauliflower, roasted carrots, marinated eggplant, pickled vegetables (sweet, beets, cucumbers, radishes, cabbage), crispy, onions, and organic pita chips. The tahini and roasted red pepper sauce are vegan, as well as their fries. Cauliflower soup is vegan and my favorite thing is the tahini chocolate chip cookie! Best eaten at restaurant if getting the warm pita sandwich. Service fine. Music a little loud for our liking, particularly during busy times, but otherwise the vibe is on point.
1st time trying this location. Perhaps I'm comparing it to the other, but I was a bit disappointed with this visit. I tried the pita sandwich instead of the bowl I normally get. The brisket was moist, but sooo bland. I took it to go and by the time I got back to the hotel 15 mins later, the pita was so soggy that it completely fell apart. The pita was too mushy to eat. I had to use a fork to eat the interior. The veggies were fresh and the fries were good. I would be hesitant to return if I was ever back in the area.
This Brassica location never misses a step on service or food quality. The staff here is genuinely so friendly and works efficiently even when it is slammed. The food is reliably fresh and delicious. My favorites are the seasoned french fries and the minty pink lemonade. That said, they have followed the trend of increased prices and greatly reduced portions. Recently, the bowl I had was 90% rice and greens, with tablespoon portions of meat and toppings. You are not getting any value, but it will taste good!
Stopped in for a casual dinner a few weeks back. Place was pretty crowded for a weeknight but then again it was also 6:30 PM. The line was moving pretty quickly too for the amount of people that were there. I had not ordered at brassica in a long time, so I appreciate the staff giving me some reminders on which absence were which. I did get the bowl with the brisket. I also got several vegetables. The brisket was very tender and well cooked. My foot itself was pretty good, but it was relatively expensive I thought. I know it's probably in line with a place like chipotle, but I just didn't think it was anything amazing. That being said, would come back.

The falafel is very tasty (also not fried with any meat items, if you are picky like us). The pita is made fresh (oven is right there to see). The toppings are a great selection. Fries are a must. It is busy when we come, but the staff is quick and always getting fresh food out. The place is bright and bigger than the short north area (and free parking).
We had a tasty lunch at this popular place in Upper Arlington. A nice crowd at lunchtime but staff kept the line moving along. Despite the crowd, we immediately found seating. The room was nicely laid out and kept in clean condition. I had a baba sandwich with veggies. Fresh tasting a quite delicious. I especially enjoyed the extra seasoned eggplant I opted to add. The pita was still warm. Friendly staff and good food make Thai one a good lunch option.
[Lane Avenue] 6PM The good - Everything we had was very tasty. Food included a sandwich with hummus and chicken, a salad with hummus and falafel, fries, and hummus plate with falafel. Basically all of these things are variations of each other. All are very tasty. Especially like the pickled veggies and THE SAUCES- try them all. Special sauce especially. I had one of the beers on tap - I think it was Wheat beer. It was fine. Overall a good vibe. The room is clean, inviting, and the staff is friendly - and patience. The 'wish it was a little bit better' - Parking wasn't great. Actually came the day before and it was too packed, so we went elsewhere. Came back and got a spot. The line gets long/slow as each order needs some time to assemble. Not sure how to make it faster but the wait felt slow. This might be a hot take, but I thought the bread for the sandwich was just 'ok'. It was warm, fresh, etc, but it was a bit doughy for my liking. Maybe if they left it in the over for 30 more seconds(?) Portion on the fries was small...ie not really sharing-size. But they were really good...try with all the dips. A bit expensive too. If you're a fan of Cava, you'll really like this place. If I lived here, I'd come back often. You might feel out of place if you don't wear yoga pants/leggings.
I'm addicted go Brassica. Whenever I visit my friend who lives in colombus, I make sure we go here. The food is just sooo yummy. Got a falafel bowl this time along with their brassarita! Both were tasty- although the drink was a bit strong for me!

The space itself is beautiful: clean and thoughtfully designed, with greenery, warm lighting, and modern tables that give it a cozy, welcoming ambiance. The service is always quick and efficient, and the quality of the food is amazing. I've tried the chicken, brisket, and falafel, and each protein is equally delicious in its own way. You can tell this place is run with care. They've perfected their system, and I've never had anything less than a great experience here.

This is the fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant of my dreams. If I could, I would open Brassica's all over California and Hawai'i. What is good? Everything! Brisket Hummus Bowl: The first time I got Brassica, I ordered this. . . with all the fixings- if it was on the line, I added it! Includes an organic pita that is light and airy. Falafel Salad: Comes with greens, and grains, and, of course, I added anything and everything. The pickled veg is so, so good. Must order a side of fries, a tahini chocolate chip cookie, and a minty pink lemonade that I mix soda water into to make it sparkly. The customer service goes above and beyond. If you're meeting up with friends you may want to check out the extensive and reasonably priced bottles of wine, beer on draft, or the Brassica margarita.

I stopped by Brassica for the first time with a few coworkers. And I will be back! Best described to me as "Mediterranean Chipotle," you choose a base (I chose the pita sandwich) then hummus or a different sauce. Then some toppings, including your protein, before the choice of multiple sauces. I assembled a pretty tasty meal for myself and enjoyed their fries. They also have a house mint lemonade that was delicious. Parking at this location could be an issue, though seating seemed to available while we were there (roughly 11:45-12:45). read more

Brassica is a Lebanese-inspired, Chipotle-style fast casual joint that lets you build your own pita sandwiches, salads, or hummus and chips. I usually get the salad option, akin to a bowl, with a base of lentils and greens. Protein choices include falafel, vegetable mix, chicken shawarma, or harissa-rubbed brisket. I've always gotten the chicken shawarma and the flavoring is really good. Next comes the vegetables (roasted carrots, marinated eggplant or cauliflower), and you top it off with a variety of sauces. My go-to sauces are the 'special' sauce (think tzatziki without dill) and roasted red pepper. In addition, you can add either hummus or baba ganoush, as well as crispy onions or crushed up pita chips to give it a crunch. The ingredients are fresh, delicious, and blend together wonderfully. One downside for first timers is that the menu board is posted on the left hand side near the front entrance, which makes it difficult to view once you get to the serving line. I'm not sure if they have handheld laminated menus, but imagine that could be helpful. In addition, the food is rather pricey for similar style restaurants -- my most recent bowl was $16 without a drink or any extras (i.e. the fries, which are pretty popular). However, the quality is excellent so as long as you're okay with paying a bit extra for high quality ingredients with superb flavor, Brassica is definitely worth trying! read more
Mediterranean chipotle, as it is popularly described. Brassica somehow manages to balance classy decor with a casual atmosphere. Like she's so fancy but for what lowkey. Meals are picked up at the counter as your food is built assembly line style, but the staff are very efficient and friendly, often offering to deliver food to your table if a specific component is still cooking. Some people go wild for Brassica's food; I think it's just ok. Fairly reasonably priced sandwiches with flavorful fillings like cauliflower and eggplants! However, the food runs on the salty side for me - I kept craving a drink (which maybe is part of their scheme idk). I mostly like Brassica for their fries - the seasoning on them is spacial and the special dipping sauce is so garlicky *chef's kiss with a wonderful breath* I do feel like the fries could be a lot crispier though :/ I earned a comfort tahini chocolate chip cookie this time too and I quite liked it! Love chewy cookies and will never say no to a little flakey salt on a dessert huehue. read more
Brassica is a typical set up for a fast casual restaurant. You walk in to a modern environment and a counter where you can see all the food and pick what you would like and your toppings. The staff were friendly and very efficient. Their pita is very thick and light and fluffy. It makes for a wonderful sandwich. They braise brisket daily and it is incredibly tender and full of flavor. The other toppings available are unique compared to other Mediterranean restaurant offerings but they mesh well together and each individual item was clearly well thought about and crafted with flavor. As a side I opted for brassica fries which have a wonderful seasoning and come with a house made sauce for dipping which is truly a fantastic pairing. All in all, brassica provides fast service with food that packs a flavorful punch. I will definitely be back when I am in town! read more

I took a quick trip up to Columbus for the day and decided to stop at Brassica for some dinner before driving back to Cincinnati. They were so busy the line was literally out the door. It was freezing outside, but it was worth the wait. The salad bowl was so fresh and the brisket was lean and flavorful. My boyfriend and I had to each get our own Brassica fries on the side. They were seasoned perfectly, and the sauce was sweet and complimented the seasoning perfectly. We also tried the minty pink lemonade. I never knew mint went so well with lemonade, but it was amazing. I definitely recommend stopping here for your next meal! read more
I've never been much into Mediterranean food but this place hit the spot. If you're looking for a quick meal packed with flavor and protein then this place is a must try. I went to the Upper Arlington location and made my own bowl. The portions are huge so you definitely get your money's worth. I loved all the proteins and toppings there were to pick from. This place is essentially like a Mediterranean Chipotle in terms of set up. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful in explaining what some of the selections were along with recommendations for the dressings which I loved since I was unfamiliar. This place has been only radar for sometime, Today was the day. This place was amazing, from the fresh ingredients to the fresh pita oh my. I opted for the slow roasted chicken shawarma with too many topping to list. Also we tried the brisket which is a harissa rubbed beef brisket, which is only sold until sold out. So get here early, Both were so tender and favorable, it would be extremely hard to just pick one. The fries were ok, however the Tahini chocolate chip cookie... ahh I could have eaten a dozen of these definitely a must try! So if you been waiting to try don't wait any longer. Was greeted both when we walked in and as we left, fantastic service. The only thing keeping this from A five star is price, but don't let that stop you from trying out. read more

I forgot how good this place is. It's the usual MYO bowl/salad/wrap option that seems to be the only thing we're allowed to eat anymore, but I like their spin. I love that there is a rice and lentil option for the base, and they have crispy onions, which is a no-brainer for me! What I really like is that all of the toppings go with all of the other toppings, which isn't universal. Anyway, I love the creative toppings. It's a toss up between chicken and falafel, but on my most recent visit, they had to make more falafel and I was a little time crunched, so I got the chicken, which pretty much fell apart it was so tender. Yum! Love the fresh veggie toppings, garlic yogurt sauce, etc. They have really great fries and I love the minty pink lemonade, with a refill on the way out, please. It's a little pricey for what you get, but the quality is good. So maybe not an every day lunch stop, but very good. read more

Brassica's food is always delicious, fresh, and flavorful. Consistent, nourishing food here cannot be beat. Try the hummus on your bowl or on the side, the chicken on your bowl, and the tahini cookies as a treat. So so good. read more

Brassica is one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus! Having said this, they have some opportunities. 1) 90% of the time I visit I have to wait for falafel. I get that they want it to be fresh but at 12p - 1p you'd think that they'd make enough for the expected lunch rush. There were two others waiting for falafel besides me (wait time ~ 5 mins). This has been the case at both Lane Ave & Easton sites. 2) Why does the salad cost $3 more than the sandwich? I can tell you from +10 visits that it's not because you get a larger portion size with the salad. Seems like they are taking advantage of those customers that order salads (which I've noticed is the majority of people). Oh - kale and cabbage is more expensive - probably, but I get the same portion size with my sandwich. 3) During my visit today I got a sandwich. After waiting +5 mins for the falafel to be ready, they began making my sandwich. When it was clear that the sandwich would be overflowing (see picture) I asked if I could get the last three items on the side. I was told, "we'll do it this time, but we normally can't". What? So - you don't mind inconveniencing the customer to get their food and then it seems like the right decision to explain company policy when the customer asks for a side cup? BTW - no, "I'm sorry you had to wait so long to get your food". Only, "we'll do it this time...". I sometimes think folks have lost their minds. 4) The portion size is inconsistent. It seems they worry more about the artistic creation of the food than giving the same portion visit to visit. Chipotle has this same problem - improved training would address this Will I continue to come to Brassica? YES - the food is great! They just need to figure out a few details to make it a better experience for the customer. read more
I went to dinner with my partner. Brassica is one of my favorite places in Columbus since I moved! I've been here a few times and it is consistent quality food. I wouldn't recommend carry out as you don't get the portions you'd like (I like extra sauce or more veggies bc I am vegetarian) and it can be messy unless it's a bowl. I wish they bottled their sauce or sold their eggplant, it's to die for!!! Pricier for those who will add meat but as a vegetarian I couldn't be happier! Their pink drink is my absolute favorite too. read more
I'm a big fan of Brassica! It's the perfect place when you need a quick bite and don't want fast food. I've ordered online for pickup, drive-up, and have dined in. I've never had a bad experience! I always order a falafel sandwich with fries and it leaves me stuffed. They also have a fun variety of beverages that I enjoy trying. The times I've dined in the staff has been quick and helpful. Great for when you don't have a ton of time, but still want to eat well. Will definitely be back soon! read more
