We had a very nice lunch here before visiting the transport museum to which it is attached. The younger children enjoyed chicken nuggets with fries, but our first grandson was ready to feast on steak and frites. I had the soup of the day (black radish soup, I was not crazy about the flavor); Nafisa and Sam thought their onion soup was acceptable but not great. Two of us had the daily special of beef in a wine sauce with spaezle -- quite good; and Mwana enjoyed the other daily special, Rosti. We were celebrating the 8th birthday of granddaughter Soraya, who was gifted a birthday donut with a candle, but she children ALSO got ice creams, while the adults had the coupe Nesselrode, consisting of much too much excellent vanilla ice cream as well as chestnut puree.
