On a recent trip to Switzerland my husband and I went for a walk and stumbled upon this restaurant in a more residential less touristy part of town and we are so happy that we did! The ambience and decor is stunning and had me wanting to make some home renovations to recreate the magic in my own home! We ate here every single night we were in town, it was that incredible. The food is perfectly executed with the right amount of simplicity of its preparation and complexity in flavor. I feel we ate almost everything on the menu: beef tartar, grilled lobster tails, burrata and arugula, filet, pommes frites and so much more! The wood burning grill gave the lobster and filet the most amazing flavor and the beef tartar was perfection. Our service was also impeccable. We speak ZERO German and the staff was very kind and patient with us as we tried to navigate the menu. They recommended an amazing wine and had a great cocktail menu as well. We ate here so often, we met and became friends with the owner! I love this place and HIGHLY recommend you go if and when you are in Switzerland . . . I want to go back just to eat here! read more
