Pasta done right! Since this restaurant was a suggestion from my Tour Director on my trip to Switzerland, I figured, what the hell? It is pasta, and Switzerland borders Italy, a country highly associated with pasta. What did I have to lose? I ordered the ravioli because it was highly suggested by the wait staff and it is everything you would expect in a homemade ravioli dish. Expensive? Sure. But you get what you pay for here. The meat special works best because you get some delicious ham with all of it, and it is already a generous portion. It was such a lovely meal that I thanked the staff for making it. It's a small space with limited indoor and outdoor space. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There are a number of pastas, sauces, and ingredients you can choose from and have them make it for you OR you can do like I did and just order the Special. I had the Meat Special which came with four different types of ravioli and a sage butter sauce. It was so good. My dining companions picked specific types of pasta and ingredients but loved it as well. Seriously some of the best pasta I've had. Highly recommend it. read more

They make fresh pasta. The star of the show is the ravioli. They have several different kinds: spinach, asparagus, cheese, beef, pork, beets. I'm assuming they change occasionally. On the day we went they also had spaghetti and gnocchi. You choose the kinds of ravioli/pasta you want. You can mix and match the ravioli. Then choose your sauce. Sage butter, tomato, cream, or pesto. The large portion is pretty large. The pasta was good but I was not blown away. The house lemonade is supposedly a must on prior yelp reports but ours was really watered down. Not good at all. Just FYI they charge you for tap water. read more

Pastarazzi is a hidden GEM within Luzern! After a lot of online research, it was suggested to come here for dinner. RAVE reviews were written all over the internet about this place and let's just say...Pastarazzi did NOT disappoint. It exceeded all my expectations and more!! First of all, you need a reservation!! We are from Utah and got reservations a few weeks/months in advance. I wanted to take my husband to a delicious dinner to celebrate our anniversary and was SURE to not miss coming here. Right when you walk in, you get to see the delicious ravioli options offered there. All sorts of raviolis with different colors and textures. Green, red, orange, and more. The way this place works is you order at the counter what type of ravioli you would like, and then you choose your toppings as well. There are all sorts of filling options (meat, vegetables, etc.) and then the toppings are things like parmesan, arugula, sage butter, and more. The waiter suggested that we did sage butter so we did one plate with sage butter, and the other with pesto! We tried several different types of raviolis and every single one was delicious. You can't go wrong there. We also got a delicious charcuterie board appetizer to enjoy as well and it was just perfect. The ambiance here is absolutely wonderful. It's got a cool, cozy vibe and the employees are so laidback and kind. I could't speak highly enough about this place. Even as we were sitting for dinner, there were a ton of people that would walk in to get a table but there isn't room for walk-ins, just reservations because this place is SO popular. So he's a little tip, don't go to the big restaurant right off the main drag, walk a little into the heart of town and you may find a rare gem, Pasta Razzi is such a place,home made pasta's like Ravioli and Gnocchi, with Butter sauce, pesto or red sauce with lots of different toppings, it's small and very nice inside, the staff and very friendly and extremely patient, explaining all the dish ways you can create your experience, a must stop. read more

Let me start with mentioning that the food was amazing. The service was ok, I think they might need a better system because the whole experience was a little disorganized. There were tables that were served first, who came after us and I think it's because they were seated inside the restaurant? And the server seemed really overwhelmed. We had to wait 1 hour 20 mins for our main courses to be served. The couple next to us were so upset they actually dine and dashed due to the long wait. With that being said. The food is really tasty, it makes the wait almost worth it. The raviolis are nice and creamy and the burrata appetizer was absolutely delicious. Honestly the food was good, the service is meh, they forgot about us for over an hour, people seated after us for their food first, we didn't even have water 1.5 hours in. Our server suggested to try all the flavours of ravioli in the sage butter so you really got to taste everything, which was such a great suggestion! When you walk in you are directly facing a counter where you can see the different homemade pasta options: tagliatelle, ravioli, fettuccine, etc. You then choose your sauce: pesto, cream, tomato, and more. After that you can add other toppings. My dish was amazing! I chose the sausage and onion ravioli, spinach ravioli, pesto sauce with bacon as an addition. So delicious! What a GEM !!!! We had just arrived into Lucerne and checked into our hotel. We walked across the chapel bridge into the old city to look for lunch, but what a mistake that was. We walked past a small pasta place and noticed it may be too small for our family of five (husband, wife, and three teenage daughters), so I ventured in myself to look at the menu and ask about seating. The gentleman who greeted me was super nice, I feel like he may have been the chef and owner. Although we couldn't fit a table of five, he graciously gave us a table for two and another for three. The menu is super simple and we love that. Ravioli is the primary dish here and I have to say that this place is unassuming. You won't believe how delicious the food is here. He even recommended a really cool bar to visit for our last night in Lucerne. The waiter was very rude and dismissive. First, he insisted that I'll wait at least an hour before I'll get a table and I shouldn't wait. Then two guys came in after me and one table got free , the waiter wanted to place us all together, saying "we always share tables", while everyone else in the restaurant also had spare 2 seats, but apparently this rule worked only for me. The waiter has done everything to squeeze me out of the restaurant, but icing on the cake was his "are you still eating in?!". We walked in at 19:20 and they told us they were going to closed in a few mins. Funny thing, I tried called them a few blocks away to see what time they closed. We were walking around in Lucerne, and we happened to find this place by accident. We went inside and were greeted very friendly host who spoke English, and was very warm and polite. It smelled so good the restaurant that we trusted him to pick out our dishes for us. What an experience. My wife and I split the meat and cheese board, each tried some ravioli, and shared the tiramisu. The food was phenomenal. The staff was possibly the friendliest we've ever experienced. They were incredibly helpful with recommendations, explaining how the menu works, and the concept behind the restaurant. And the concept is amazing.
